Wow, what a view! Probably the best I've seen on Samui, better than Overlook Rock and Jungle Club for sure. The Roof has a very chill and casual atmosphere, not pretentious at all, and the service was prompt but not pushy. Prices were very reasonable at 120b for a small beer and 190b for a name brand cocktail. Beware of the drive, especially going down. There are patches of sand, sharp downhill curves, and it's very steep. Not advised at all for inexperienced riders.

Great mountain top views. Casual beanbags and low tables. Little cold due to winds. Food took an hour to come to table after ordering. Recommend you bring a blanket or jacket and have plenty of time to wait for the food…. Which was delicious. Our server was excellent as well.

Wonderful hilltop restaurant with beautiful views and excellent service. Road leading up to the restaurant is very steep, be wary of brake fade when descending. Parking is available, as well as transport service (฿50/pax) at the bottom of the hill. Food is excellent with reasonable prices. Definitely worth a visit while in Samui.

This is a must place to visit. Scenic views and great food for very cheap prices. If you are diving a scooter I recommend only for skilled drivers. Not because of going up but for difficulties going down. But you can go up by shuttle service provided by restaurant.

Beautiful for a sunset and cocktails or/and dinner. They have amazing food, local and international cuisine. Although some of the tourists there are a bit high on the horse and disrespectful to the the staff, the team there still treats them professional and kind. Kudos for that! The prices for sure include the view, so you pay more as you would do at other places, but it’s definitely with it. Make a reservation in advance to get a good view and try to come during weekdays.

nice view. nice food. nice services. should come before 16:30 owing to a lot of mosquitoes. So take on long-sleeve shirt and pants. Chill out. Have to know the way to come here is quite adventurous. must use a 4-wheel driven car.

I would say this is a must visit in Koh Samui .. food is delicious and price is OK taking into consideration the setup and view. The place is quite spacious but booking are advisable. Best time to be there I would say 530 pm. The drive up can be a bit challenging but they do offer 4x4 ride

The view wasn’t great on a cloudy day but the company was important and memorable. The menu had a wide selection of dishes and drinks. Affordable. Music was great and waiters and waitresses are friendly and efficient. Don’t leave Koh Samui without visiting the roof. You are in for a roller coaster ride up!

We had a blast here at The Roof yesterday. It was a special occasion. It was my husband’s birthday, and they made it special. The food was amazing, especially the Tom Yum soup, and they had amazing banana dessert. The view was spectacular, and the hospitality was top notch.

The view is worth thousand pictures! Located on a high sharp curves and steep hill, driving up to the location could be a challenge. Upon reaching, you will be greeted by a magnificent and picturesque view of Samui island. Service was great and friendly. A must to visit if you are in Samui!

Came here for coffee I really love this place the view is amazing but I dropped them 1 star becoz car rides got me a bit sick. Very difficult and windy road. The staff here very nice and friendly, tried snacks and coffee is good, free Wi-Fi here and they have shuttle car if you can’t drive up. And during Covid-19 situation they are very quiet not people around you at all.

The view from here is amazing!!!! Good food and drinks at cheap prices. Getting up here is a bit difficult steep and windy roads. I would recommend an SUV or they have a truck that makes trip up and down the mountain. Very friendly staff.

Nice food, nice selections on the menu although pricier than expected, and best of all is its incredible views overlooking from Chaweng area over to Bangrak - just breathtaking and perfect for photos. Enjoyed their coconut smoothies and southern Thai food for lunch. Although some simple Thai comfort food menus seemed even too expensive for what it should be. Some menus were also unavailable. The timeliness felt rather delayed also with the food. Quite a challenging path leading up to the restaurant whether by drive on car or motorcycle, but that is probably expected on Samui, where uphill / mountainside roads can be so incredibly steep. Service is nice, calm and attentive at the restaurant. Overall, nice island ambience and atmosphere with good food but a little surprising with the menu price tag.

Went up a mountain into the clouds for dinner last night, was such an awesome location! A shame the weather was a bit meh but we managed to see the view a couple of times when the clouds broke. Awesome service and the food was on par!

Came here with a girlfirend to take in the sunset time views. Taxi is available 50 baht round trip. It's quite a steep and bumpy ride, so hold on. Restaurant is very nice. Lots of bean bags and rope beds to chill on. Nice music, but a lower volume would be appreciated. The surrounding areas are very quiet, so no need to blast the music please. We ordered -ShrImp pad thai (my friend) The pad Thai was not spicy, the blander side. 230 baht, kinda pricey -Virgin pina coladas- no syrup. Very pretty and refreshing 160 baht each The place was surprisingly quiet for a Saturday night. This is a great venue for a romantic date ot hanging with a group of friends ( bring games and/or playing cards). Staff were friendly and attentive.

Really nice view point with restaurant and bar. A very nice, cosy and Romantic place to se a Sunset. Good drinks and food. You have a better chance to get a table here then other places with view in Koh Samui. 😉🫵🏻

View is ok (but there are several like this in Samui), employees ruin it: we call it a Tourist trap. Service and food are a total disgrace. Won't write in details about the terrible experience we went thru since it is almost not possible to perform so badly. Just the last detail: after finishing eating, we continued to chat and finish drinks... 45 minutes. We asked the bill, paid and left. Please have a look at the picture : the table was left with a total mess during the all time we were here and no-one bothered clear it. Fire all the staff from management to kitchen to service and start all over again. Not a cheap place but a cheap service.

Amazing view, Food is good but nothing special, Lots of good photo opportunities and they have large nets with beanbags over hanging the drop which is fun, The ride up is steep and enjoyable, If you’re not use to riding a scooter I’d advise against trying it, especially in the wet - Otherwise I believe they offer a shuttle service from the car park at the bottom for 50 baht.

The journey to the restaurant was very adventurous. The food and service was amazing. The view was stunning
