Following a recommendation of an expat living in Samui, we tried Sunshine Gourmet and came here twice, the only place in Samui to go again for lunch. The food is reasonable priced and really great quality, both western and thai. Everything is home made and freshly prepared, walking distance from Maenam Pier.

The best Tom yum of my life, and I know a good Tom yum 😋 Benji's cooking is delicious, fresh and cheap. She picks the herbs from her garden right in front of you. We came here several times during our stay and loved the beautiful food and Benji's warm hospitality. Sunshine Gourmet is a real treasure! 💎

Best restaurant around! 5 stars with no doubt. We were here 5-6 times for a dinner and the meals were delicius every time. We tried few thai restaurants for a lunch in this area but for the dinner we went still here. The staff is very friendly from the first moment and food service is fast, each meal in 20-25 minute max (depends on the amount of guests and meal type). Everything fresh not frozen. Best time to visit is about 18:30 to 19:00 if you want to get the seats for more people because later is it full and you have to wait. The decorations is classic thai-funky style and you dont feel any smell from the kitchen. This is the "must visit" restaurant if you stay in this area. Enjoy!

This is the first restaurant we tried when arrived in Koh Samui, we chose it for its phenomenon. And it turned out that is such an amazing restaurant! For so many days stay in Koh Samui, my husband and I come back every now and then. Food is excellent and service is considerate - they even gave us ice cold wet napkins while seeing us in a hot afternoon. We will for sure come back any time! Cheers!

A true hidden gem on the dusty back roads of Mae Nam. Incredible food with a generous host who will brighten your whole day. She is incredibly generous with the seasoning in her soups and curries, making the boldest and best Tom Kha Gai we had in Thailand.

I had Prawn Pad see ew and it was delicious. The owner helped call taxi to the airport for us. Thank you very much!

Love this place! Was recommended by a local living nearby to what he considers his 'neighbourhood gem'. Off the beaten tracks and very unassuming until it sweeps you away with its great hospitality and delicious fresh homemade foods cooked by a friendly Thai lady who served us and shyly admitted she's the cook behind the dishes we were giving high praises to. The pork fillet mignon was cooked to perfection and well seasoned right down to the sides that came with it. Did repeats, will recommend it to anyone in a heartbeat and will personally visit again anytime I'll be down in Samui. If you arrive by Lomphraya catamarans at the Mae-nam pier, this a few steps detour from the path out to the main road. One homely, family run establishment you shouldn't miss during your visit.

Excellent food, both breakfast and lunch. The staff is friendly and helpful. Opened early for us so we could have time to catch taxi to the ferry.

Went here after reading reviews and wasn't disappointed. Great choice on the menu Western & Thai food available. Tom Yum was so tasty as was the rest of the dishes. Latte was even 5*. Will go again soon.
