HARBOUR TAVERN

Bar Pub

👍👍 Proper British-style pub with British beers and ales. Excellent British food too. A little pricey - import costs, central location etc - but well worth it for that little taste of home. People often mention English, Great,

Styled after British pubs, very similar to the other Hobgoblins in Tokyo. Comfortable atmosphere and great food. Drink selection is super! Live music regularly.

A cool English tavern in the heart of Kobe. Very friendly British(?) staff, lots of British beers on tap and in bottles, and a large menu with traditional fare. TVs we’re showing local baseball. There was lots of seating/tables for a small pub.

Great English pub lots of seating and TVs so ideal for sport. Stopped in for a few pints before eng v USA in rwc. Staff very friendly. My only negative it is smoking pub (as are many in japan) well worth a visit if wanting English sports and surroundings.

A VERY nice place for any westerner and/or Japanese to enjoy their beer or food. The personnel is absolutely fantastic! Great fun and truly multicultural! Good music, TV screens everywhere, for those that want to enjoy a match or whatever and some truly good spirits! Very central, at a very convenient location, in the heart of Kobe, just a few metres away from Kobe Sannomiya station! Thank Harbour Tavern is actually the reason we stay in Sannomiya every time we visit Japan!

English style pub and probably some of the highest prices for beer in the city. Was there during the rugby world cup and the place was packed to the rafters. Can only hold about 30 people comfortably so squeezing 200 rugby supporters in was not fun.

Great Find and centrally located, was only 10 mins walk from my hotel. Met Simon the owner, very nice and knowledgeable bar owner. I had the cottage pie and it was delicious. The person next to me had the wings and they smelled amazing. Its accessible via elevator. Some ed of the best places on Japan are either in basement levels or from the 2nd floors up. There was plenty of beers on draft. Guinness, Heineken and Speckled Hen among a few. Great pit stop and they have trivia once a month.

Great place for locals and expats! The food is fantastic, and the menu is in English and Japanese. Good beer selection, too! I had the cider and it was perfect :)

Quaint English pub, Simon is a straightforward chap with classic pub fare and a solid happy hour. Great recommendations in the pub and the surrounding area, and he lots of UK beer and at least one cider on draft. Recommend dropping by for an imperial pint and to check out events they’ve got lined up.

Beer hall
👍 It is a long-established Sapporo beer hall in Kobe. It collapsed during the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, but is now operating in a new building. The fried chicken is very delicious and famous. It's the perfect place to have a beer and talk with your friends.

Super public bath
👍👍 Very VERY nice hot spring. There’s like two types of “onsen” the outdoor type and the indoor type My personal favourite is the outdoor bucket (?) onsen because you have a mini hot tub all to your self haha Anyways, the entrance fee is pretty expensive to be honest but it’s kind of understandable...

Super public bath
😐 This hot spring is located near JR Sumiyoshi Station, and can be reached on foot between JR and Hanshin Uozaki Station, but there is a Sumiyoshi Higashimachi bus stop in front of the hot spring, and there is a bus (route 39) that leaves from Hanshin Mikage Station (also passing in front of Hanshin S...
