Very tasty. The meat was so savory and tender. They also had unique condiments and miso that they make themselves. I believe they even said they make the soup stock (dashi) out of flying cod, not the regular water only fish. I didn’t think I’d like miso with chunks of fat. But boy, lemme tell you. Great experience as well. You get to watch them cook right in front of you. The cook knew a little bit of English, but it was nice to have a local who could translate. The cook explained how the beef is raiscooled, the types of meat, and many other facts. I recommend going during lunch as it’s the same menu, but cheaper!

Nice experience. The beef was insane and maybe the best steak I've ever had. But I'm pretty sure we got some bunk steaks compared to the locals from what we saw them get served. They do a good job of explaining the selections in English, and the beef being grilled right in front of you is cool. Just left feeling like I got scammed.

Tried most expensive cut sirloin, medium priced cut and lower priced cut. Prefer the medium priced cut, more tender than sirloin cut. Chef did a good job cooking in front of us and took pics for us. Lunch wasn’t crowded. Restaurant has limited seats available, need to book ahead of time.

Wow wow and wow. This place is a hidden gem. We been walking the whole street and went past heaps of places then we found this one. The chef himself was amazing, the beef was great, such good quality, outstanding service, everything went so perfect it made our night. Even tho we can't really communicated much, as we like to know more about food and his skill, but he tried his best to explain and we so much appreciated for that we don't know the language. Kobe beef is always a bit pricey, but it's worth to try, there are price differences depend where you go. This place ? Worth every yen 😉

Amazing dinner and experience. It's a small place with seating around the cooking area so it's an intimate experience with the chef. We didn't have reservations but since we went around 530pm, they weren't needed. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and obviously take pride in their work. There was an English menu but they took the time to explain the types of meat available and then had suggested seasonings/pairings to try with different bites. Very lovely overall, would recommend this restaurant. Was a highlight of our trip to Japan.

Amazing experience. The Kine beef almost melted in my mouth! Very foreigner friendly too. The chef explained what sauces to use with what course and was very helpful overall.

Went for lunch and enjoyed an amazing Kobe Beef set course. The food was delicious, the cook will guide you how to eat it properly. The cook was able to communicate in English and we had an excellent conversation as well. Highly recommended.

The best restaurant in my Kansai trip. I love it. Really nice restaurant for Kobekyu. Chef Santoshi is very kind and he has good skill for Kobe steak. Also very clean iron plate, teppan. No problem to communication in English. Chef explains about all dishes, waht it is and how to eat and more detail. I hope to visit here again some day.

Great service, atmosphere, easily accessible and not crowded. Best of all, the A5 wagyu was to die for. So good we've been there twice in a year!

👍👍 When in Rome do as the Romans do. When in Kobe, eat as much beef as humanly possible. I already absolutely love beef dons, so this one just felt like that but even more boujee. I loved the style of this restaurant. It was small, intimate, and predominantly counter seating. The vending machine out f...

Beer hall
👍 It is a long-established Sapporo beer hall in Kobe. It collapsed during the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, but is now operating in a new building. The fried chicken is very delicious and famous. It's the perfect place to have a beer and talk with your friends.
