Terrible attendance! Mrs. Seiko (attendant) was in a bad day, I believe, because she was not cordial, she did not present the menu, much less asked if it was our first time at the place, for a restaurant that wants to enter the Outback level and Hard Rock is leaving a lot to be desired! Remembering that it is a foreign restaurant in Japan and the service with the foreigners was terrible! nor be able to evaluate the main attraction to the food of the place so angry!

burger i got was disgusting (it was 2000yen overpriced to be honest) the patty was made of expensive tasting meat but it was not seasoned even a tiny bit, the onion was raw and the cheese on the burger was a disgusting mess. the magician was pretty cool he gets a 5/5 stars the view was pretty good tbh. definetley not coming here again.

a bad experience Such a beautiful place with a beautiful view, however me and my family had a bad experience. My dish came with raw chicken and cold prime rib. My companion ordered the sirloin steak medium rare and it came very rare too. The attendant Seika served us very badly, because it was the first time she did not explain the menu properly and seemed impatient ... when she went to serve, she pushed the plates to make room on the table without even asking for permission. We felt really bad and couldn't even enjoy the food.

Cob Salad was very good. Salmon was also very good. We also had calamaris and shrimp. Spareribs wasn’t that good. A little bit uncomfortable having to ask the waiter for another drink cause he seems to be not enjoying working there. It’s a very beautiful place with a very nice view to the port but the staff should treat better their customers. Next time I come to Kobe I’ll try other restaurants. I’ve been to Tony Roma’s in Makuhari Chiba. Completely different service.

The ribs did not fall off the bone with a fork like in the states and the chicken strips were both over cooked. Maybe the chef was on holiday or leftover ribs. Lovely harbor views. Plenty of High chairs available. Pricey compared to other branches overseas. Would not return. Best dish - mash potatoes.

Horrible experience. Salad was mediocre at best and the chicken sandwich was a joke. The meat was a third of the size of the bun and had the texture of rubber. Buns weren't even toasted or heated properly. Female staff was not welcoming and seemed upset. Only giving the service a 3 star because the gentlemen that served us was the only good part of the experience. Too many other options in the area so don't waste your time or money here.

Nice view of the port and very delicious food. The Chicken Ceasar Salad was great, but smalIer than I thought. I recommend the Classic Ribs and or the Roma Burger. Unfortunately, the steak fell short of my expectations. Rather tough and dry. The Texas Mud Pie wasn't bad. Frozen caramel and chocolate ice cream with a hazel nut crust, topped with with whip cream. A nice size serving two people can share, both the flavor and the diabetic coma it will put you in. Cheers!

*updated on 12/13/21 I visited this restaurant again. This time I ordered 1/3 rack (ribs). This restaurant is well known for ribs. Food was good but very slow service. ---------------- The view was nice, especially at night time. The staff were nice and thoughtful. The issue was food. We ordered their signature item, onion loaf and grilled chicken & fire roasted vegetable salad. Onion loaf was cooked outside but inside wasn't completely cooked and doughy. The chicken salad was a scam. Look at the photo on the menu and look what I got!!!!!! Seriously?????? Signature dishes were disappointing.

The view of the place was very nice; overseeing the mountainside of Kobe. Table service was decent and the staff were friendly, but the overall decor of the place seemed a bit outdated (especially the tables). Definitely a solid 4.5 out of 5 for the view, a 3 out of 5 for the decor, and a 5 out of 5 for the service. As for the food, we tried the crispy onion burger and also the crispy chicken tenderloins with honey mustard. The chicken tenderloins were quite crunchy and crispy as expected, but were a bit dry. Although, thanks to the honey mustard dip the dryness was alleviated. The burgers on the other hand were just bad. It was a bad touch (or nice depending on how you look at it) that some of the burger ingredients like pickles, tomatoes, raw onions and lettuce were presented separately so that the customers can assemble their own burgers as they see fit, but it seemed like a drag to me. A burger should be a comfortable food and a tad bit messy so you can know the burger is juicy. If nothing is dripping from the burger, that's bad news. And if we're talking about bad news, I should say that the dryness of the burger patty was so vastly overwhelming that I had to use extra mustard, ketchup and coleslaw to make the burger a bit more juicy and edible, and I drank a gulp of my drink after each bite to wash it down. The side fries were also more like McDonald's fries which is not necessarily bad but you kind of expect extra taste, seasoning or a special dipping sauce when you spend 1590¥ for a burger. Mind you, this wasn't the price for the burger plus a drink, just the burger. We ordered Coca Cola and each glass cost 460¥ which is very expensive. So the burger alongside a drink cost 2050¥ which in my opinion, was not worth the price at all considering the extreme dryness of the burger, the mediocrity of the fries and the hefty price for a medium glass of Cola. Overall, I give this place a 3 out of 5 considering everything. I might return one day for the view, but I surely won't order the burgers.

Food was way below average. 1. Ordered the onion loaf and it was cold and tasteless. 2. Salmon was dry and fell apart as you tried to eat it. It came with mashed potatoes and it was cold as well. 3 The Roma burger was one of the driest burgers I have seen and also tasteless. Definitely do not eat here, not recommended. McDonald’s is a better option than this restaurant.

Went on a Friday night, table reserved for 19:30 with a view of the port. Staff were a little slow to welcome us to the restaurant which was surprising because it was virtually empty, there were only two working. We actually had to go to them despite them having seen us and chose to keep us waiting. Ordering food is done by QR code, not a fan of that at all but I guess that is where the world is going. Good menu and great food at a reasonable price, came quickly too. There were quiet conversations at tables and a lovely atmosphere until staff allowed a particularly rude customer to FaceTime in a loud voice for close to 20 minutes at the table next to us. If the restaurant was loud maybe I could understand but not when it’s quiet, where I’m from it’s the height of bad manners, but I guess people’s standards are slipping. Not wanting to cause a scene I kept my mouth shut all the while hoping the staff would do the right thing, of course they didn’t. Maybe a nitpick but our plates were not cleaned and left at our table far too long a good twenty minutes after we finished eating. The restaurant was not busy at all but the staff seemed to be struggling. They seemed to be understaffed or not efficient at their job, didn’t seem to be effective communication or teamwork between them. They kept a foreign couple waiting for far too long without adequate service and they ended up leaving. I will say though that the female member of staff who “served” us was polite and caused us no problems directly. I say “served” because there really was no service, not like you used to get when you went to a restaurant, again times are changing. We were going to order desert and a coffee but chose not too after the experience to that point. Not our worst dining experience but definitely not the best. Not likely to return, which is a shame, it could and should have been so much better.

We visited Kobe 2 times this year, and we always wanted to grab our lunch here because our son loves the food and the ambiance as well, with an amazing view. But the problem we always have is that the staff weren’t that friendly, they’re not approachable. They don’t even bother to smile while taking our orders. It’s just so sad that we can’t enjoy the food that much because on how they’re treating the customers. We always wanted to eat here but a bit hesitant now because of the service. I’d rate the food 5 and 1 for the service!

Nice food. Nice view. Hate the QR code order system, it’s so unfriendly. Ribs places should be friendly.

Beer hall
👍 It is a long-established Sapporo beer hall in Kobe. It collapsed during the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, but is now operating in a new building. The fried chicken is very delicious and famous. It's the perfect place to have a beer and talk with your friends.
