Walked
in
on
a
Monday
night
to
find
a
quiet
restaurant
with
staff
that
were
delighted
to
see
us.
The
main
waiter
really
helped
us
feel
at
home.
He
was
attentive
and
made
sure
we
saw
the
English
menu
(on
the
back
of
the
Japanese
menu).
I
don't
love
teppanyaki-style
dining,
so
I
was
happy
to
be
sat
at
a
table
and
have
our
food
brought
to
us.
There's
something
so
old
school
about
this
place,
in
a
positive
way.
The
decor
and
serving
style
are
totally
classic
and
remind
me
of
the
80s.
They
even
gave
us
bibs
ahead
of
time
since
the
plates
come
out
sizzling.
The
steak,
served
on
a
sizzling
plate
with
butter,
garlic,
onions,
potatoes,
and
spinach,
is
incredibly
flavorful
and
tender.
I
made
sure
to
remove
the
onions
right
away
and
lay
them
around
the
platter
so
they
got
nice
and
cooked.
My
partner
and
I
each
got
the
full
course
with
soup,
salad,
garlic
rice,
drink,
and
steak.
I
got
the
R-size
and
with
the
course,
it
was
tons
of
food.
I
wasn't
able
to
finish
all
of
it.
The
soup
was
a
surprise
standout.
It
seems
to
be
made
with
beef
scraps
and
very
soft
potatoes
and
onions.
I
could
have
just
had
a
big
bowl
of
that
for
dinner.
The
salad
dressing
was
basically
Big
Mac
sauce,
which
I
enjoyed.
When
we
asked
to
take
home
the
leftovers,
the
waiter
made
them
into
little
bento
and
gave
them
back
to
us
in
cute
bags
with
the
store's
branding.
He
handed
us
tissues
too!
It
was
just
such
an
80s
experience,
and
I
mean
that
as
a
compliment.
If
you
want
a
chance
to
enjoy
Kobe
beef
in
a
nostalgic
atmosphere,
without
going
the
teppanyaki
route,
this
is
a
fantastic
option.
Prices
are
reasonable
for
Kobe
beef
and
the
quality
and
service
are
top
notch.
I
just
hope
this
place
continues
to
stick
around
for
many
more
years!
