I quite enjoyed my meal at GRATEFUL’S Located by the JR Suma Station (beach side). This restaurant offers a beautiful view of the ocean while you have your meal. The atmosphere is very relaxed and easy going. Great music and there is a nice patio available - perfect on those sunny days. The staff were nice and friendly. The food here is excellent - their speciality are hamburgers. They also serve fish & chips, salads, locomoco and more. Everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavour. I really liked the onion rings. Definitely worth checking out if you are in Suma. I’ll be sure to come back again soon!! Enjoy 😊

The location is fantastic - the food is decent and plentiful. Prices a bit high - I paid 1700¥ for my burger, fries, salad and a small drink. Service was okay and the food came quickly. They serve a pretty average burger when compared to some of the others available in Kobe and Osaka.

On a sunny day there could be nowhere better. Great view over the beach and seafront, and right next to the station. I had the Mochiko chicken plate for lunch and it was delicious. Not the cheapest of places but good food and helpful staff. Didn’t realize about the upstairs outdoor seating until afterwards, looks lovely up there.

Bro it is literally on the beach but the prices are normal. Hell yeah to that alone. Throw in that the burgers and fries and food are all great? What kind of world are we living in?!? Quit your job and go here immediately.

Great burger restaurant. I tried their フィッシュバーガー (Fish burger) with a Potato Set (including fries and a drink) for ¥1,720 total. Burger was delicious, and so were the fries. Great texture and seasoning. Fish burger has tartar sauce. They have vegetarian and pescatarian options. Nice views of Suma beach. English menu available. Friendly staff. You can pay with card.

While the price was a little higher than other places, it is very convenient to Suma JR station and Suma Beach. The staff were quite friendly, and you can use a bit of english. I got the mochiko chicken, but my friends got the burgers. Fries were hot and crispy. Overall the experience was pleasurable. Though the seats are a little small, the counter is a nice place to enjoy the food and look at the ocean. I will come again once it gets warmer.

Absolutely delicious, juicy and freshly made burgers, and the tastiest fish and chips that I've had in Japan! The atmosphere of the restaurant and the location are also very nice too. It's situated directly outside Suma station. The prices are competitive; actually quite lower when compared to some of the other burger places in the area that are not as high quality as this one. Definitely gonna come back again with more people and try the party platter! Highly recommended.

We love this place! It is quite convenient to go here if you use JR line to Suma Station and it has a good view of the ocean. They are famous for their burgers but I always order their Mochico Chicken and this BBQ Cheese potato 🤤 Food - 9/10 drinks are expensive Place- 8/10 it gets pretty busy esp summer Cleanliness - 6/10 they can do better

It's facing the Sea in Suma. The ambiance is superb! Very comfy. Plus the food! You will feel "grateful" after the experience ☺️

Sorry this is the most bland burger I ever had, no seasoning. Basically a whole onion with no flavor. Nice view but not worth the 2000 yen for basically self service.

The place is very relaxing and plus the food are delicious 🫶🏻 the shop is located near the train station so only 1 min walk than you will be there.

It’s a burger shop fronting Suma Beach in Kobe. They have a nice tropical ambiance going on especially in the summer. They have couches and chairs on the first floor inside, and a second floor that feels beachy. They also got some English songs playing in the background, which lets you forget momentarily that you’re not in Japan and someplace tropical. The food was delicious! My friends and I ordered their NY BLT, fish and chips, and onion rings. The burger was delicious. As for the fish and chips, according to my British friend, it was one of the best and close-to-authentic fish and chips he had in Japan (considering that he had a veeery short list Japanese restaurants serving authentic fish and chips). The staff at the counter was approachable and friendly as well!

This place does everything right. Good burger meat? Check. Eco-friendly wrapping? Check. Tasty fried chicken? Double check. All in all just a wonderful little spot on the ocean with a great view of Suma beach. Note: skip the bbq sauce, you won’t need it.

Fantastic restaurant right next to JR Suma station. Right on the Suma beach. They serve great burgers from the grill using house baked buns. The price is fair for what you get.

The place is not very modern but it has a western atmosphere. It has a view of the sea and the place is comfortable to sit and relax. The food..... I really enjoyed it. One of the best chicken, fish dishes I have ever tried in japan. If you're a foreigner having problems with Japanese food, you must go there. I recommend the fish and chips and the chicken dish.
