No questions on that we enjoyed great quality of all foods and service. Thanks! Smoking room, however, is so closed to the area where tea and dessert are served after dinner. Minus 3 stars only because of that.

A Michelin star Teppan-yaki restaurant. Not many seating capacity, a discreet restaurant. Taste excellent of course but considering the price they ask, this is one of many. Recommend this by a concierge at the Oriental Hotel Kobe.

Unbelievable experience. Amazing Kobe beef done to mind numbing perfection. Orgasmicly flavoured Abalone and Lobster does not come any fresher than the variety here. Delicious Saki and ice cold Asahi beer. Wonderful service from kind staff.

It’s delicious, chef is a professional, the ingredients were fresh, the Kobe beef was melt in your mouth type of goodness.

We each ordered a Nadeshiko Course at this restaurant. The chef prepared every dish in front of us and Kobe beef was certainly the entree and was the reason why we went there. Its texture was as soft as tofu. It tasted fantastic with just a little bit of seasoning! In addition, our waitress paid full attention to us. She took away every plate right after we finished it so we didn’t have a pile of plates at our space. I love the very first and authentic Kobe beef in my life, so they definitely deserve a 5!

If you want to try the best Kobe beef, please try this amazing restaurant. But please make reservation, it is really popular. Love its wonderful food and service. Will come again for sure 🥰

Very good Kobe beef restaurant. They prepare the meat in front of you. And there's a large amount of options to choose from. The course menu was very good, although a small quantity of meat overall.

Seated right in front of their teppyaki grill greeted by their handsome old head chef. Ordered their set meal and it has really a wide verity of food. Starting off with some tofu with eel on top. Then comes the salads, seafoods and grilled vegetables. Kobe beef was absolutely fantastic with juices exploding in my mouth. The fat was really something different. It has a umami aroma that you really can’t taste it anywhere else. No need to say that the quality of the ingredients they are using are top notch. However, I have to say that the restaurant is somewhat “ingredient dependent”, it lacks of a trick that I was hoping for a what used to be a 1-star-michelin restaurant. And the desert was disappointing as it’s worse than a convenient store ice cream. Head chef was a super chill guy and we took a photo with him.

Shad the roku course which cost about ¥18,000 and it was amazing. Fresh grilled lobster with perfectly charred foie gras in butter served with thick jammy berry sauce. Have to say the 120g of Kobe sirloin was seared to perfection.

I enjoyed my meal at this restaurant. The quality of the kobe beef is very good, so is the price. I had the 15,000yen set.

Fantastic Kobe Beef teppanyaki that the beef melts once it's in your mouth.

I would rate this place 4.5/5 for the: - great kobe beef ( I do recommend people to eat the tenderloin rare, and the sirloin bleu) - excellent wine (Chablis and Margaux) - fact they took us in for diner without a reservation and with my comfy running shoes on my feet's - good English skills of the "chef de sale" Improvements to make: - the drink menu should be detailed (you can not propose red wine and withe wine without saying where it's coming from and what year it's from) - the word appetiser on a menu it's not enough, you must say what it is or at least something and not just appetiser; even now I'm not sure what I have eaten (it looked and tasted like a gomadofu, but I'm not sure) - some explanations for foreign visitors on how the diner will evolve, at least to ask if we are familiar with the way of eating in a tepaniaki - do not bring the bill at the table while people are still eating their desert.

Taste was excellent. Service as expected. But the price was absurd. You can get the same quality meat and meal in Tokyo for much less yen.

Best beef i have had my entire life. We were sceptical reading other reviews, but we had an amazing time! Can recommend!

Kobe beef was great. However the chef were cooking and preparing food in front of other seats that almost done instead of in front of us. We’re expecting a bit more close up front row view for the price we paid. Price showing on Tabelog was around ¥5000-¥6000 for dinner; it was incorrect. Dinner started at around ¥13,000 and above, which is about three times more expensive. Therefore we had expected a lot more from this.

Waitresses were both kind and accomodating - and having staff that could speak both English and Mandarin was helpful. Service was expected at this price level, however the waitress incorrectly heard our order despite pointing to the item on the menu and enunciating the 80g tenderloin versus 120g sirloin, leading to three out of four people in our group dissatisfied. And unfortunately by the time I was suspicious of the wrong meat selection, the chef had just begun cooking the meat. The difference between tenderloin and sirloin meat was quite big, and I personally have tasted better Wagyu beef in Australia at a much lower price point, hence the disappointment in our first-ever Kobe beef experience.

👍👍 When in Rome do as the Romans do. When in Kobe, eat as much beef as humanly possible. I already absolutely love beef dons, so this one just felt like that but even more boujee. Beer hall
👍 It is a long-established Sapporo beer hall in Kobe. It collapsed during the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, but is now operating in a new building. The fried chicken is very delicious and famous. It's the perfect place to have a beer and talk with your friends.
