観覧。
神戸港のメリケン波止場とポートタワーが建つ中突堤のの間を埋め立てた港湾緑地に帆船の帆のような神戸海洋博物館や神戸ポートタワー、オリエンタルホテルが建ち、神戸有数の景観地として知られています。夜になるとそれぞれがライトアップされて一日中楽しめます。
この日はメリケンパークのイルミネーション「BE
THE
LIGHT」最終日。夜景の撮影練習をかねて訪れました。到着は18:00過ぎ、陽も落ちてちょうど良い時間帯です。最終日という事もあり、人の姿も多いですね。人が映らない画角は望めそうに無いかな?
それにしても寒い!冬の波止場は本当に堪えます。しかも広場なので風を遮る建物もありません。防寒は必須です。
まず目に入るのは、やはり神戸海洋博物館とポートタワーですね。イルミとは関係ないんですが、やはりこれが一番映える。モザイク側から見るのとは違い、迫力があります。残念だったのが二つが収まる画角が見つからなかった事です。おそらく端っこまで移動すればあったのでしょうが、如何せん寒い。それにそれを撮りたいならモザイク側でいいかな?と思い直し、イルミネーションへ向かいます。
後で知ったのですが、BLUE
TUBEを抜けた先に二つを納められる撮影スポットがあったようです。覚えておこう。
一番の目玉である光のトンネル「THE
BLUE
TUBE」は博物館の前にあります。その周りには多くのカメラマンやコスプレイヤーが撮影されています。他は家族連れやカップルが多いですね。とても楽しそうです。私は入り口付近に陣取り、人通りが少なくなるのを見計らい撮影。でも結構その付近で立ち止まり写真を撮る人達が多く、大苦戦…立ち止まらないように注意しないといけないにも関わらず係の男性(学生?)が頼りなく、チラチラ見ながらも声を掛けられずにいました。財布を落とした女性にも声を掛けず、気づいているのにオタオタ…私が注意してからやっと動きました。
余談はさておき、側面と正面のアーチを撮影して中を潜っていきます。この中から見える博物館とポートタワーのライトアップも味があって良いですね。
抜けた先には竹細工で作られたクリスマスツリー「竹あかり」などのフォトスポットが点在しています。このツリー、小さいんですが、非常に美しい。もう少し周りにあれば更に映える気が来ます。個人的には全体を映すより、寄りで見た方が好みです。
後はサンタのコスプレをしたモアイ像などがありましたが、統一感に欠ける感じです。
ツリーの直ぐ側に鳩の石像があります。これに触ると音が鳴るのですが、ここからの画角が好きですね。なんか鳩の顔に哀愁があってイルミをバックにすると、それが際立ちます。
夜景の練習でしたが、途中で三脚が壊れてしまい断念。暖かくなってから再訪します。
その時はお昼くらいから来ても良いかもしれません。
