Reservations recommended. Hard to find. Take the elevator to 4F and follow your nose 👃😂. The price for the Kobe beef set is a little high for the quality. I think the lunch deal is way better than the dinner deal. Better cospa. The service was great. English friendly. Many foreigner customers... Maybe too many 🤔. They let us split the bill 5 ways which was nice of them. If you don't drink, they make a great Shirley Temple

Kobe steak is famously delicious and juicy thus expensive. We ordered a set to get the full package. The restaurant is on the 2nd floor of the Lion building. It was cozy and welcoming. The chef cooked in front of us with excellent skills. All food is perfectly served in a portion that is enough for the individual. You need to reserve and they give you halal and nonhalal options.

We had an amazing experience with our first Kobe steak in Japan! We tried sirloin and rib eye Kobe beef and it did not disappoint us. Thanks to chef James for taking care of us! The restaurant also feels very private which is a plus point. Highly recommended!

As I know this is a very good Kobe beef steak at Kobe city, Japan. I ordered Kobe beef halal premium completed with side dish. The meat is very juicy and very nice. I recommended to this try this steak. The place is very comfortable, easy to make the reservation, and all staffs are very friendly and helpful.

I eat halal steak! The service was perfect. It's my first time eat in restaurant like this so I don't know it took time too long or usually people spend hours here. I speak Japanese a little, but sometimes I speak English, and the staffs are very helpful. It's okay to take photo too.

Its so great to have halal beef here. The staffs are so nice, its fun to watch the chef cook the beef in front of you. I had a medium rare beef and its really tender & tastes sooo good! The interior design is so beautiful as well.

The food was really tasty, but I felt a bit irritated by the chef he insisted on the fact that one of the steak we picked was too small, then why would you have it offered on your menu? Also ordered some French red wine and it came cold 🥹, a bit painful for my origins. Otherwise the set menu was brilliant and it’s a great way to try Kobe & Wagyu beef

Omg, where do I start! This was absolutely amazing and for the price, so damn good! It wasn't busy at all and staff very attentive and friendly. Places like this in Australia are showy and too theatrical. This place is intimate, quiet and amazing!

The food was okay. It wasn’t the best Kobe beef I’ve had before and felt rushed. We ordered two courses with two different cuts of wagyu to share; ordered to be medium rare but the chef prepared the cook unevenly; overcooking one and undercooking the other. Course dinner also came with appetizers- but they were only okay. The breakfast at hotels and desserts found on the street stalls tasted better. I was quite disappointed.

Great food here! Do recommend if you want to try out Kobe beef when you’re in Kobe. I do suggest to get reservations beforehand. The food was amazing to say the least and the chef was very friendly and entertaining. We got to try various dishes and was ultimately full and got to close the dining with some matcha tea. Place is quite tricky to find so watch out for that. Consider this place if you want to try Kobe Beef when visiting!

One of the best meals I have ever had. Friendly staff and wonderful cook. Got given a halal menu. So do ask for it as they have special soy sauce.

The service and food were phenomenal! We had the Kobe Beef Loin course for our party of 5. I'd definitely visit again the next time we're in Kobe.

Our best meal because they have halal Kobe beef! Chef James and team did an amazing job by explaining to us how they handle the food for the muslims..it’s a fine dining concept and you can choose which one that fits your budget..DEFINITELY RECOMMEND and we will come again in future!

Love the ambience! Service was top notch! I was served by 韩-san! Food was on point! And most importantly, I get to eat halal kobe beef!!! Tips: do make a reservation beforehand so that the restaurant can ensure they have halal beef (due to its rarity)

Late review. Chanced upon this restaurant when my bf and I were looking for kobe beef. All restaurants were fully book and this was the only one that accepted walk-ins. Really reasonable lunch sets. 于春在was the chef who attended to us and he gave good recommendations. We really enjoyed the food he cooked. He was also friendly and chatted with us, giving us recommendations for other popular food to try around the area. Service of other staffs were good too and they were all very friendly. Superbly good dining experience.

Had a Teppanyaki meal which cost about 52,700 Yen for 2 pax. Once on a lifetime meal here in Kobe, Sakura. We had the selected A4/5 Kobe beef and Wagyu beef. Chef was awesome, from the way he served us and the way he handled the food, overall, service is great and at its finest!

We went there two days ago and it was a great experience. The staff was very nice and our cook explained every dish of our menu while cracking a joke here and there. Don't hesitate to ask if he can speak English with you if you're not fluent in Japanese! The star of the show of course was the Kobe beef and it's worth the hype and every penny we spent. The best piece of meat I've ever had. (Disclaimer: we had the lunch menu Hatsu zakura!) All in all, I can highly recommend this restaurant!

This place is located on the 2nd floor of Lion Bldg sannomiya, 5 mins walk from the Kobe Mosque. The service are excellent! They show it to you in front of you of your halal beef, halal sauce, halal oil and everything. The chef is super friendly. He cooked in front of you nicely. The beef taste was AMAZING. The price included the appetizer (salad), main course, and the dessert. I was served from my very first step get into the restaurant until the last step when I was going to enter the elevator. They dont accept the IC Card, only the cash and credit card, and some barcode payments. One of the great experience in Kobe :)

To start off, the staff are all very welcoming and hospitable as are most japanese restaurants. They did a terrific job accomodating all halal restrictions as in the beef plus miso soup plus cooking in separate utensils while placing a sheet over the frying pan as to not let the halal beef mix with non halal. Kudos for that. BUT. The price is way too much !! Over 200$ for a 150g sirloin?! They are just manipulating muslims who want to try kobe beef but halal. My friend had the wagyu at the grand hyatt, a 5 star restaurant and it was 1/4 of the price and he said it tasted much better. Overall the beef was not that flavorful and definitely not worth it.

Everything was very delicious! We had the wagyu and kobe beef lunch set. Great service, nice staff, english friendly and warm atmosphere to dine in at! It was neat watching the chef cook right in front of us. Would recommend and come back if we’re ever back in Kobe.

Words can't describe how amazing of an experience this was! Regarding Halal Measures: It's not often you can try halal wagyu or Kobe beef. They cook with separate utensils, and stations to make sure there is zero cross contamination. They have a specific menu for Halal options in both meal and a la carte. You should have no trouble finding something to eat. Service: We made a mistake with our reservation, but one of the staff chased us down after we left to give us an opportunity to dine later that night. It was also nearing the night for them and they still served us (though don't count on this happening every time). Atmosphere: The place is a nice small but relaxing environment. The chefs prepare the food in front of you. Food: I can't describe how amazing the food was. I was able to try the sirloin and fillet, cooked to medium rare. The meat is so buttery you'd forget you're eating beef. I'm so glad to have been able to have this experience as a Muslim. Price: Be warned the place is pricey. For 2 people with the cheaper it was about 24,000 Yen. Not included in the menu prices is an additional 10% for tax and additional 10% service. There also is an additional 1000 charge for any orders under 10,000 yen.

Amazing Teppanyaki place for Kobe beef. The meat is excellent A5 Kobe beef, and it’s prepared right in front of you. The course is also really good.

Omakase dinner is perfect portion for me. Very good service. Food is so fresh and Kobe beef is exactly what I dreamed of. Strongly recommend to try.

Awesome service and etiquette. The food was made very well and very tasteful. I very much recommend especially for muslim to try. Yes it is halal! I hope in future the restaurant has a Whatsapp account, it was difficult to contact as tourist only has data sim no voice sim.

Super tasty traditional Japanese meal with some of the best Kobe beef I’ve ever had! It was a tad overpriced for my taste—30,000 yen for 2 people—but I can’t fault them for how tasty it was. Definitely recommend if you have the budget for it!

Came here yesterday to try Kobe beef. The service is excellent and the set meal is delicious with a lot of different foods and flavours. We ordered the dry aged Kobe beef (round) and Kobe wagyu for 60000 yen and 75000 yen respectively. The chef is very kind and is attentive to you. Would definitely recommend if you want to have a great experience the first time you try Kobe steak!

It was my first time having kobe beef and I'm glad I chose here. High quality beef, lovely experience with friendly staff. The chef even explained before cooking that they use separate utensils for halal food. Thank you for offering a halal menu!

We were able to book a reservation 2 days prior to our requested date for my aunt’s birthday. They helped us choose from the menu and were very accommodating to our requests. The chefs and the whole staff really made our dinner memorable and enjoyable. The Kobe beef course and the wagyu beef course were super delicious. The course comes with appetizers, salad, soup, and dessert, so the price for each was worth it. Really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend!
