One of the longest bridge in Japan . Total length of about 3000 mts. This gigantic structure is open for tourists attraction. The place is quite windy here . With entry fee of around 200yen you can go inside the building which takes you under the bridge. There was a gift shop and a cafe available there and you can spend some quality time here. You'll get a 360 degree view of the area around you . Place is easy to access as it is next to a railway station.

We joined a tour visiting bridge internal by booking on their webpage. We were gather at the bridge office by noon, then tour guide gave us briefing about the background of building, showed us the details of construction by stages, last told all important safety measures. All visitors should wear helmets and groves during the tour. First, we started to walk up of 10 floors staircase to the bridge body, a bit tired. Then take 15 mins walk of 1km to the base of bridge tower. Then going up to tower top by lift inside the tower by group. Finally you can enjoy stunning view from bridge tower top for 15 mins. Worth to go.

Bridge is spectacular day and night, with a stop in Awaji SA or driving through for the best view. During the evening it lights up multiple colors like a rainbow showcasing the pride of Japan. By technicality, it’s a convenient way to get from Honshu to Shikoku by the east. Also remember to watch your speed as it’s straight and people seem to be overconfident.

For entrance we paid: 300yen in order to get on the 8th floor. And we paid 350yen for exhibit but it was an optional. And the place is very clean and not so crowded. There’s also a small resturant were you can eat and enjoy the view.

The Akashi-Kaikyo Bridge is almost 4 kilometres long and is the longest suspension bridge in the world. It joins Kobe with Awaji Island. You can get there by taking the train to JR Maiko Station. The entrance fee is 300 yen on holidays and weekends and 250 yen on weekdays. There are various observation decks and also a kiosk there. Also there are 7 cameras located on the bridge, of which the visitor can move them to various viewing spots. When I went, free onion soup was provided. Be warned that it can get windy and discretion is advised for those suffering from vertigo.

I've seen this bridge many times during fine sunny day. And It amazed me already. You will see how beautifully and strong it is. Then one rainy day、 I went to the bridge to see how it looks likes when raining. Then this is it. It was so beautiful! Its like I remembered the how harry potter go to other dimension by passing through a none visible other side of the cloud. It was really amazing. And no matter how strong the wind that time I was able to unnoticed about it because I was captured by the beauty of this structure. It is not just the longest suspension bridge in the world but it is also one of the most beautiful and perfectly created one. ^-^ Try to see and be amazed by yourself. Thanks for reading. ^-^ By the way it is located near the Miko-Koen station. You can include it on your travel list. Happy Traveling! ❤

I can't believe that I got to cross this bridge a day ago. It is (as of this writting) the longest bridge in Japan. Thank God I have my Japanese family along with me to help me enjoy this place. The view from the bridge is totally outstanding. Don't forget to take a video when crossing it.

Fantastic tour of a magnificent bridge! The staff were very friendly and accommodating and were clearly very passionate about the endeavor :) I would strongly recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in engineering, architecture, or even just to see the magnificent view.

Awesome place to hangout! huge open space by the water with the marvellous bridge beaming above you. Must visit the observation deck on 8th floor. Observe the evening sun and enjoy a cup of coffee or soft cream at the restaurant in the observation area.

Wahnsinnig große sowie lange Brücke. Es gibt innerhalb der Brücke eine Aussichtsplattform mit ner schönen Sicht. Eintritt kostet (Müssten um die 300yen gewesen sein). Hat sich definitiv gelohnt.

There's nothing bad I could think of. It's just a huge suspension bridge that connects awaji and Kobe and also offers excellent views. (And pictures!)

despite the road tolls I paid, I felt it was worth every single cent. I am not sure how many billions they spent to build it, it is an engineering marvel. It is awe inspiring to drive through it. You can keep at constant high speed to comply with the rules. Many users were driving up to 100km/hr. It is an unforgettable experience. What a miracle !

A great place to be for enjoying the magnanimity of the structure - metal bridge, and nice beach with the sunset view.
