This was a very big nice shrine to do the first shrine visit of the year. Everything was well organized and things moved like clockwork. Getting to try some of the festival food was great as well. I was also able to get my shrine stamp too.

Nice peaceful oasis of a shrine close to Kobe station but you wouldn’t think so. Oldest olive tree in Japan is in the precinct too. Come and find peace: outer and inner peace.

A very calm, beautiful location. If you need a break from the city lights, Minarogawa Shrine is perfect. It isn’t too far from Harbour Land and shopping malls either. If you visit the shrine in the evening, you are alsoo very close to many izakaya and bars which is quite convenient. It’s also a nice area for children to walk freely without worrying about cars.

Most foreigners go to Harbour Land but people who visit there is less. I recommend visiting there because you can enjoy Japanese origin shrine despite going to Kyoto and this place is very close to Harbour Land. Moreover, entering the shrine is free of charge. This place is very quiet and I have never seen foreigners there. It might be hard for foreigners to enter the shrine but if you have the time and can afford to visit, I encourage you to go there.

Very nice shrine. Easy to access, near train and subway stations. A nice quiet place to take a break from the city.

A beautiful Shinto shrine with several facilities among it. You can also find the oldest living olive tree at this Shrine. I came during their celebration, so there are several vendors selling their products also. There is a digital information about the Shrine, which fortunately they provide the English version of it also!

(Translated by Google) "Minatogawa Shrine" The top three shrines with the largest number of worshipers in Kobe are Ikuta Shrine, Minatogawa Shrine, and Nagata Shrine. Visiting these three companies is also popular. Minatogawa Shrine is a shrine that enshrines Kusunoki Masashige, a military commander who was active from the end of the Kamakura period to the Northern and Southern Dynasties. Nicknamed "Kusunoki-san," worshipers line up to take advantage of Masanari's wisdom, jin, and courage. Downstairs of the main shrine, you can also see the golden lion and guardian dog, Bisen Fukuda, and the ceiling of the worship hall designed by Shiko Munakata. Shoin Yoshida, Ryoma Sakamoto and other priests of the Emperor worshiped at the tombstone of Masanari Kusunoki, which was erected by Mitsukuni Mito, and worshiped Kusunoki was the spiritual spirit of the Meiji Restoration. It became a pillar. After that, the shrine was built by the Emperor Meiji in 1868.

An overall solid, fairly large shrine in Kobe. It is not as good as Ikuta shrine, but is a nice secondary destination once you’ve seen the main sights in the city. If you collect goshuin stamps, they offer 4 different varieties to help fill your book, and they also sell unique omamori for each and every Chinese zodiac sign.

(Translated by Google) Most of the stalls weren't opened this year due to the influence of Corona. It goes without saying that the stalls themselves are not the only shop owners who have a connection with the back, but there are still some people who seem to have a clear connection with the anti-shrine, so this year there were few and the answer was correct. .. Well, since there are police officers, there are few troubles that were exposed.
