Instead, I recommend eating six hot dogs at IKEA.🌭🌭🌭🌭🌭🌭 The museum may not be a satisfactory experience because the facilities are old and poorly maintained.

Really really dated exhibits. Borderline boring. This place seriously needs a mega investment to bring it up to date. If you have exhausted all other entertainment options and desperately need something for your kid to do, then try it. I guess.

Nice place to bring your kids. Family friendly. ¥600 for exhibition and ¥400 for planetarium (price may differ).

Regret but not suitable for foreigners since all the information is in japanese. The only good thing is planetarium but the entrance fee will be double if you want to watch planetarium. The building and inside is a bit old.

Great little spot for burning off some energy for the kids. Mostly hands on. Great for the kiddos.

This is a fun place to be, both adult and child. I love the future reporter area. Planetarium is good but quite warm.

Recommend for children from 3 to 15 years old. This place is mostly suitable for Kids but also very interesting to me, engineer, because equipment is devised for easy and practical understanding of science. This place doesn’t have historical and real products very much like Deutsch museum in Munich however If you are traveling Kobe and looking for the place for your family with kids, you will have nice time especially on weekdays.

nice place for kids also there is a cozy cafeteria on 1st floor. Having simple meal after playing is comfortable. We stay for 3hrs.

I haven't experienced anything new. The museum it's quite old, and so the "scientific discoveries". It has disappointed me.

There is a cafe on ground floor, nice place to eat something, and has a nice coffee.

It's a little run down but it's a fun place to take kids to learn and it's relatively cheap.

I visited this museum recently and was hugely impressed. The place is full of hands on exhibits, all in perfect working order and many with instructions in English. I wanted to pick it up and take it back to Britain. I couldn't but compare it to a visit, 2 years ago, to the Science museum in London during the school summer holidays. It was packed, many of the ' free' hands on exhibits were broken, incomplete or had to be queued for and others had to be booked and paid for in advance ( and also queued for). Here I was weighed by a tortoise , lifted by a small child on a pressure pad, shown how sails work to move a yacht, piloted a plane over Kobe mountains, watched chemical experiments, adjusted gears and shot rockets into the air. Fabulous.
