While the drink I ordered from the national special that was going on was good, the service was quite odd. My friend and I ordered our drinks at the same time. My friend received his drink first and then, logically, my drink which was the exact same as his would be next for me. The person making the drink though decided I should have to wait so she could service this group of 3 Japanese people who ordered after me, and ordered the same drink like my friend and I, and should have been forced to wait. That was very disorganized and unprofessional and forced an uncomfortable long wait that should NEVER had happened. Honestly I hope this was not a case of a staff member at this store being racist and giving preferential treatment. If it is then the entire staff, her included, should be harshly reprimanded so this DOES NOT happen again.

Some employees were frustrated by controlling customers and service was horrible. I highly recommend you go to another Starbucks store.

Conveniently located near Motomachi / Nankinmachi. Standard Starbucks menu. Service was friendly.

Iconic coffee shop and menu, conveniently located in Motomachi, Kobe. Oceanside of entrance to the Chinatown main gate or Nankinmachi. Very busy and hard working, pleasant staff. Lots of seating. Can accomodate small groups. Outdoor seating available, which is unusual for Japanese cafes and restaurants.

Nice experience.. Coffee was refreshing. Dounought was yummy. The taste of the waffle was mild but soothing to the taste buds. Overall I liked it.. Ambience wise, it was a bit crowded, but may be because people like to visit it most of the times. Nice place to hangout or even work..

Loved the service and they made my custom double blended maccha frapuchino with chocolate chips and extra caramel on the cup and overload on top of the whip cream. Place is big, nice WiFi in English, quiet, lots of room to sit, big table with AC plugs.

It gets super packed on weekends, plus there's a tourist bus stop just next to the coffee shop. Even though the line was long, The staff handled orders perfectly 👌🏻

Loved the selection of cold drinks on a hot day like this. Even though my kid doesn't drink coffee, she was able to get the frappuccino and i enjoyed plain black tea with ice. Suitable for everyone.

Big Starbucks with friendly staff and lots of seating. Can be incredibly busy during the day, so go early or late if you wish to have a seat!
