It is located along the national highway, and the nearest station is Motomachi Station. I entered the class thinking that I had learned about overseas Chinese in social studies class. It was located in a corner of a building, and the inside of the building had the atmosphere of a company office, so it was difficult to enter. The exhibits focused on specific individuals rather than on overseas Chinese in general. Partly because I wasn't particularly interested in it, my impressions are kind of like this, but I thought it was good that it was explained in a neutral manner without taking sides in any particular direction. I felt like the 300 yen admission fee was a big deal.

There is an overseas Chinese museum. Moreover, the content does not please the Chinese Communist Party, Taiwan, or Hong Kong. This is history and I think this comes from the good balance of overseas Chinese in Kobe. A place you should definitely visit at least once.

Overseas Chinese History Museum. Although the building's design was ordinary, the texture and color of the exterior walls were quite good. Unfortunately, I have not entered the museum yet. I'll leave it for next time.

Located near Meriken Park. I thought that overseas Chinese people probably played a big role in the development of the port city of Kobe, so I made it a must-see facility. Unfortunately, the exhibits are completely incoherent and we are unable to learn about the achievements of overseas Chinese people. I was disappointed that I had finally found it and visited it.

On the second floor of a building called the Kobe Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, west of the Nanjing Town Archway, the museum introduces the establishment of the first batch of Chinese from China. At that time, there were the Fujian Public Office of the Fujian Clan and the Sanjiang Public Office of the Sanjiang Clan ( The Yangtze River Delta region was mainly composed of immigrants from the Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Hubei regions). Later, they funded the anti-Qing movement in their home country and also made great contributions to Sun Yat-sen’s Revolution of 1911. This was Sun Yat-sen's base camp in Japan at that time. The Kobe branch of the Chinese Kuomintang had a great influence. Interestingly, Sun Yat-sen also appointed a Kobe Chinese as the Minister of Transportation. During the Sino-Japanese War, the number of Chinese was greatly reduced, and the Chinese in Japan had to endure the discriminatory policies in the war environment. At that time, the overseas Chinese in Fujian even staged an uprising. Most of the collections are overseas Chinese calligraphy and paintings, and one is by Kang Youwei. There are also some old items from the Kuomintang, such as overseas party membership certificates and government approval documents. When Taiwan returned to China in 1945, there were also Taiwanese Japanese who applied for Chinese passport approval. This is a very precious historical material. After the war, it can be seen from the introduction of the museum that the Chinese in Kobe were also divided into two factions, the Kuomintang and the Communist Party. The schools of the two sides also taught different things. In 1953, there was an incident of overseas Chinese returning to the mainland. I wonder whether these overseas Chinese will be fine after returning. ? According to the museum staff, you can visit the Sun Wen Museum by taking the subway for about five stops from Kobe Station to "Maiko" station and then walking for five minutes. I went there immediately after finishing. Tickets are 300, cash only.

This is a valuable museum where you can learn about the history of the Chinese people who lived in Kobe. I admire the fact that since the end of the Edo period, the country has been at the mercy of changes in the international situation and tenaciously responded to issues such as discrimination and oppression from the Japanese (government) and conflicts within the overseas Chinese community due to the division of China. Although the exhibition is generally modest, there are also introductions to celebrities who were active in Japan (such as Agnes Chan).

I visited there because I wanted to learn about overseas Chinese in Japan. I was impressed by the presentation of materials that focused on the family and neutral materials drawn from both the Nationalist Party and the Communist Party. I realized that this is also related to the past history of overseas Chinese in Kobe, and I learned a lot from it.

(Translated by Google) Stay for an hour and a half. Nobody came so it was nice to be able to talk to the elegant and gentle uncle at the reception Photograph of Kang Youwei, message by Mr. Chin Shunshin after the earthquake, new book that can be bought for 100 yen Was particularly impressive I hope it will develop as a facility for friendship between Japan and China in exclusive Japan.

After sightseeing in Kobe Nanjing-gai, you can go to the Kobe Overseas Chinese History Museum, which is about 5 minutes from the west gate. We recommend that you go to . Through the history of overseas Chinese society, we were able to see many unique things about Kobe before and after the war. For example, it is said that it would not have been possible for Japan to rival the world's three largest match producing countries internationally in the late Meiji period without the help of overseas Chinese merchants in Kobe and Osaka. Many of them gave us a sense of the romance of the destination country.
