Lovely little cafe in the heart of Kobe. Owner / Barista Bunn is meticulous and very friendly. To be honest, he is the experience. Great selection of roasts are available. There are hot and cold variations, espressos and pour over coffee. No seating space but a great counter with some cookies. Overall great experience. Must visit for avid coffee lovers.

Superb pour over coffees with unique selection of specialty beans!

Really excellent iced latte, with the barista having very skilled and precise movements and measurements. A unique and fruity latte that tastes just the right amount of sweet with the optional syrup. Best iced latte I’ve had in Japan so far!

Beyond Coffee is a very small coffee shop, the coffee is very good, after many months I was missing the taste of good coffee. The service is exceptional, this is a very nice place to get good coffee in Kobe. I will definitely come back.

Beyond Coffee is the best Cafe I visited in Kobe so far. I had some coffee there and bought coffee beans. All the coffee are exceptional and highly recommended. The owner and his clients are always easy to get along and I enjoyed some chat. Must-visit cafe while you are in Kobe!

Excellent specialty coffee. En par or maybe even better than what I could find in London. I had a light roast pour over, but judging by smell and technique of the espresso, that must be very good too.
