Hachinomiya Shrine

Tourist attraction Shinto shrine

👍👍 This was the 6th place I visited on my tour of the eight shrines in Kobe. It took about 10 minutes to walk south from Gonomiya Shrine. Directly from Okurayama Station on the Kobe Municipal Subway. Rokunomiya Shrine and Hachinomiya Shrine are enshrined together, so you will be visiting two places. I... (Translated by Google) The last one of the eight Kobe companies. Because it is merged with Rokunomiya Shrine, it is enshrined in the same place. You can also get goshuin for Hachinomiya Shrine and Rokunomiya Shrine. It seems that there is a parking lot, but it is full of people's cars, so it is better to visit by public transportation. It's easy to get to from the station, so there shouldn't be much trouble. There is an entrance facing the road, and the road between the eyes has a moderate amount of traffic, so be careful. There is a small window in the shrine office, where you can receive goshuin stamps. In addition, Shirahige Inari Daimyojin is enshrined next to it. Like Inari, there are torii gates and foxes.

I knew from word of mouth that Rokunomiya Shrine and Hachinomiya Shrine were in the same place, so that was a good thing 😅 I wasn't sure where they were, but 🙏 There was a parking lot 🅿 for several cars. It was easy to find because it was right there as soon as I got out of the subway (the torii gate and the subway are close enough to be in one photo📸). Don't know where the goshuin is? I was looking around... Is it here? (The doorbell pings in a small place like a station window with a white fluttering sign 😅) I had the goshuin stamps of Rokunomiya & Hamiya Shrine written 🙏😅

(Translated by Google) It is one of the eight shrines of the Ikuta family, and is dedicated to Kumano Shukuhi no Mikoto. The non-existing Rokunomiya Shrine is also enshrined here, so Amatsu Hikone no Mikoto is also enshrined here. (Original) 生田裔神八社の一つで、熊野杼樟日命が祀られています。現存しない六宮神社もこちらに合祀されておりますので、天津彦根命も祀られていることになります。

The last shrine in the Kobe 8 shrines pilgrimage. Interesting little place filled with fascinating objects. Easy to find. Come and pray and find peace.

This is the 6th and 8th visit to the New Year's shrine tour. About 10 minutes walk from Kobe Station. It stands quietly in the middle of the city. There were few visitors, so I was able to visit in peace. We received goshuin stamps from Rokunomiya Shrine and Hachinomiya Shrine. Shirahige Inari Shrine is enshrined within the grounds.

There is a parking lot, but it seems to be a monthly parking lot, not for worshipers. If anyone knows more, please leave a comment.

This is the third shrine I visited on my tour of eight shrines. It has been integrated (I don't know if this is the right expression) with Rokusha Shrine. The location where you can receive your stamp seems to vary depending on the time of day. I was able to receive it safely.

I went on a tour of Kobe Hachinomiya Shrine with my son. We also received a stamp book. It was hot, but... we finished at Shichinomiya Shrine. It was fun to see the scenery of various places in Kobe.

This is the 6th and 8th shrine of the eight shrine to be pilgrimage in Kobe to wipe away your bad luck. This shrine is unique, as both rokunomiya and hachinomoya are both located at the same place. The deity enshrined at this shrine are Kumanokusubi-no-mikoto and Sujin-no-Mikoto. Before, the shrine were located separately, but due to the city development, both of the shrines had to be merged and moved from previous to this location, hence the shrine become one. In 1888, the 6th shrines moved 300 meter from original location (Bar Association Building). While, in 1967, the development of Kusunoki Junior High School was making the 8th shrine to be enshrined here. As you can see, the torii was written as the 8th shrine or hachinomomiya, while at the main building, it was divided into two rooms, with the north side belongs to the rokunomiya shrine amd the south belongs to hachinomiya shrine. At the side, you can see the inari taisha with the fox statue and smaller torii.

The shrine was small but was part of the 8 shrines in Kobe 中央区. There is a accessible access from the carpark from the main road which we only noticed when leaving (we had a baby stroller).

(Translated by Google) It's a small shrine, but you can get two red stamps at the same time as Rokunomiya Shrine. When I received the goshuin, I was happy that the priest responded kindly. (Original) 小さな神社ですが、こちらは六宮神社と併設で御朱印も2つ頂けます。 御朱印を頂く時に、神主さんが優しく対応してくれて嬉しかった。

I visited Minatogawa Shrine because it seemed like it was an 8-minute walk away. Rokunomiya Shrine and Hachinomiya Shrine are located in the same place and can be visited together. Rokunomiya Shrine is dedicated to Amatsu Hikone no Mikoto and Emperor Ojin, while Hachinomiya Shrine is dedicated to Kumano Kusubi no Mikoto and Susano no Mikoto. doing. There was a doorbell in the small window, and we received a stamp together. 600 yen. ``Are you from Kobe? There are shrines from Ichinomiya to Hachinomiya, but Sannomiya is where the Sannomiya Shrine is, so the place got its name Sannomiya.'' A place name with a shrine...it was wonderful.

(Translated by Google) The deity is Kumanokusubi no Mikoto and Susanoo no Mikoto. It is one of the five gods born when Amaterasu Omikami exchanged Kendama for his life and made a pledge, and Empress Jingu was pilgrimaged from Samhan on his way home. Originally enshrined in Tachibana-dori, it was later relocated to the current Kusunoki-dori.
