This was a cool site to visit to see the symbol of the city reborn from the earthquake. Such a neat area. It's located next to the station and shopping area making it very easy to get to in the area. I liked that the route leading up to it had little lights in the shape of the robot. 🤖💪✌️😊

A great and fun to take a picture or just simply drop by. It symbolize the reconstruction of Kobe City after the great Earthquake in Japan and also commemorates city’s reawakening. 😃👍🏼🇵🇭🇯🇵

An 18 meters tall monument of the Tetsujin 28-gō in front of the Shin-Nagata station in Kobe. If you have the JR rail pass, definitely swing by to check it out since it's a JR station. Very accessible.

It's a nice place to visit if you are in the Kobe area. Only a few stations over by train. The statue is really cool, even the light posts have Gigantor on them. Many shops and restaurants in the vicinity as well. The area is a little dirty though, there was a lot of trash blowing around when I went there. I was a bit surprised considering how clean most of Japan is.

An impressive and colourful monument that’s worth the short trip out to see. The local area is nice enough and there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, too.

An open park/playground with some sort of “small” walking street nearby. It’s quite far from Kobe, but still worth it to make a visit here.

A very cool and distinctive monument with a somewhat sad yet uplifting back story. It is much bigger in real life than one might imagine from just looking at pictures. It’s a great place for a picture, and there’s a playground right next to it if you have any young children.

A must see if you are a fan. The area is relatively quiet and relaxed, not much else to do. Worth going if you have a lot of time.

Great for photography. Just walking distance from Shin Nagata Station. There's a plaza nearby, Asuta West Plaza. In the plaza, there's a chocolate shop where you can buy for souvenirs. The shop is on your left a the entrance of the plaza.

Beautiful and really big statue of a robot I don't really know, but even so, its a good attraction, the park it's located in, is really big for a Japanese park, and it was really clean and tidy

Gigantic and amazing statue of "GIGANTOR", a Japanese anime/manga. A place where you can have a snack, while you imagine the world of the fantastic anime turned into more than 15 meters high, What you should not forget when visiting Kobe!!
