Highlight of my trip to Kobe! A unique artsy aquarium and a delicious food hall. The aquarium is open until 8 pm and the food hall is open until 10 pm so it’s a perfect afternoon / evening activity!

I read a negative review but I had pre-booked through a special hotel deal so I was definitely planning to go. I went and am so happy I did. It’s really a magical place. We went in the evening and then had dinner at the Tooth Market. It was so empty and we had time to really enjoy the individual fish and how they were displayed.

Very good place for a date! The mix between the aquarium and the art is amazing! I will go again!

It is really something unique and I would definitely not mind going there again. They have a bunch of animals, there is even a section where they have the turtles walking around freely. So don’t trip over them. Some enclosures, however, seem a little bit small. Especially the one up on the roof. Though that is an ongoing problem with zoos in general.
