The store carries great quality products, but at highly inflated prices. They really market themselves as a local and sustainable store, but with an arrogant attitude. They act as if they are offering something ground breaking, but they are a carbon copy of local markets in the USA. In addition they have a minimum $4 each person to be able to use their patio dining. I have no issues with this as there is limited seating. The only problem is that they should have this policy on the total amount. We ordered a lunch plate which costs $11, and that would be more if we just purchased $4 each separately, but they insisted we had to buy another $4 to be seated. Horrible service and policy!

Natural local Kobe farmers market store. We enjoyed the Kombucha in three flavors. Sliced peach and blueberries were also very good. Service was excellent and very friendly. I would go back again.

Stumbled upon this joint on our walk up to Kitano Ijinkan-Gai. Was surprised with the local Kobe selection for vegan and vegetarian food and produce on display and sale here. Place is small yet cosy. They have quite axselection of products to cater to your needs.

Located conveniently close to the European homes of early foreign dignitaries and 'adventurers', the restaurant and market is in a great spot for anyone that needs a break from walking up and down all those hills. The food is freshly made and uses only local ingredients. Moreover, the meal I ordered was 100% pescatarian and very delicious. Staff were very friendly and the café's décor is very rustic and cosy. If I head back to Kobe with friends, I'll definitely revisit. Beats getting lunch at Starbucks or heading back down into the city by a loooong shot. Recommend!

1. Place is very accessible. When you’re on the way up to Kitano area, you’ll see this restaurant. 2. They offer healthy and organic lunch set at reasonable price from ~900 円 to 1000 円 . You’ll definitely experience the leafy taste of the sides. It’s good! Their lunch set is sometimes sold out so better check it out earlier. 3. The ambience is very light and homey. They have limited tables so be open to sharing to other customers. 4. They sell a lot of organic vegetables and products from local farmers in Kobe.

I love this place for an affordable, conscientiously prepared healthy set lunch. Each day the chef changes so the menu changes each day. I believe that they use locally grown vegetables as well.

I love it! It has vegetarian and organic plate for lunch which i believe menu may vary depends on the ingredients availability or the chef's idea. So maybe if i come today and come again tomorrow, menu can be different which makes things exciting 😋 i spent a lot as well as i bought sooo many local organic vegetables which they also sell it in store. (My menu is not entirely vegan as it has egg and contains tiny amounts of milk, so i would prefer to call it Plant Based rather than vegan or vegetarian. Regardless I'm so happy to find this place!)

Delicious! Good coffee and vege set lunch

Lovely organic cafe. Has both vegan and vegetarian options. I got the lunch plate for 1,300yen. You order first, then sit down. The water is self serve, and you should bring your plates to the tray station below the water. The cafe is really cute and has a grocery side to it, I bought some organic teas. The food was delicious!

Love the items sold in the little market - lots of jams, vegetables. Cafe is a bit pricey though.

Just opened in March 2018 this cafe cum local produce place is a wonderful addition to the Kobe food and drink scene. It focusses on providing organic local produce including vegetables, herbs, bread, pickles, cheese, whitebait, cereals and pulses. Meals are vegetarian with delicious clean flavours and inexpensive, especially in this area. They even serve a local craft beer as well as coffees and teas. Review written by an Australian visitor.
