Feels like you enter a Japanese home. Very friendly owner. Warm wooden tables. We had the Japanese plate and the bento. Food is vegan, traditional, and was absolutely delicious.

This is the coziest cafe I've ever been in. There's a lot of cat decor. One old lady runs the place, does everything by herself. It's very small-four tables inside, two outside. But if you're ever in Nara, definitely check this out. It's also on the economic side. Loved the ramen here, the soy tasted amazing. The tea was great. The dessert soft serve was great. Definitely recommend.

There are many restaurants closed and fortunately this one opens as shown on Google Map. It's awesome I can find a vegan restaurant in Nara. The meals are healthy and vegan ice cream is available.

Was tempted to get the set options, but in the end had one of everything 😊 I definitely recommend the soft serve with mango This place is the closest place to the Nara park attractions for vegans, so really glad it exists The staff are really friendly! The place is a bit hidden but conveniently located. I ordered a Buddha bowl even though I wasn't much hungry, yet it was so good that I finished it in no time. Every ingredient was delicious, from the fermented rice to the lotus root tempura. Highly recommended!

We were so fortunate that Vegan Cafe Ramuna was open in the evening after our trek around the nearby hills. We had the burger platter and everything was so fresh and made with care. The homemade bun was so soft. Even after we combined the burger with the side of karage, the burger was melting in our mouths! What beautiful cookery.

Such a unique experience at this restaurant! It really feels like you're eating at someone's home. The restaurant is in a home run by one lady who does all the work from serving to cooking the meals. I had the spicy Dan Dan soup and it was amazing! Their bento box also tasted great. There is quite a bit of dust on surfaces so if you are sensitive to that then I would not recommend it. Otherwise, a very unique experience.

After strolling through Nara, I came with my husband over here to grab a vegetarian lunch. I was surprised to find a vegetarian place in Nara and it turned out to be a wonderful meal. It's run by an old lady taking care of everything herself and making fresh food per order. We ordered the hamburger meal and spicy Dan Dan noodles and both were delicious. The meal set was food for the eyes and everything tasted very good. The place has a nice ambience and it was great to explore the not so touristy part of the town.

A lovely vegan restaurant in Nara. We got a lunch bento and a vegan ramen. VERY DELICIOUS! You can get an extra 5% discount if you finish all the broth.

Nice little place off the main road. Get there early as just one lovely lady running the cafe. Decent selection of meals, varying in sizes. Great value for money. Everything we had was delicious ! A rare find for the vegan/vegetarian community.

Amazing! This is the best vegan restaurant that I’ve visited in Japan until now. The portions are big ( compared to other restaurants) and everything is so yummy because there are many different flavours in every plate. The owner is doing everything alone, so it might take some time but it’s all worth it. The atmosphere is original and relaxing, a perfect place to sit, relax and wait for your lunch! After a long day exploring Nara, it was amazing to find this quiet little vegan café down a little street across the bridge. The food is very fresh and delicious, and you can tell that the owner put a lot of love into it. The fried "meat" tasted really amazing. The amazake ice cream was also tasty and very unique! I recommend the fermented brown rice lunch plate. There are a lot of vegan and animal-lover goods that you can buy.

We had the Hamburger plate and the ramen. Both were tasty, i loved all the sidedishes on the plate. The owner is very friendly and even she worked alone, we didn't have to wait too long for our dishes. Unfortunately it smelled a bit like cat pee on the inside, so i didn't want to sit there. But fortunately there are seats on the outside too. Cash only!

This little place is incredible! I’m not sure about the experience of a few people who have left bad reviews because we have had an incredible experience here. The Dan Dan noodles are delicious and also the teas are definitely worth trying out. 10/10.

The food was undoubtedly delicious. She has mastered the flavors of the food, and the falafel burger platter was a good choice as a dish. The wait after ordering, especially if you are not the first one through the door, is real. As a vegetarian, I will definitely be coming back during my next visit to Nara!

What a great little place tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Nara. The food was very tasty and went down well with our kids who are usually fussy. If you're hungry then you'll need to go for the larger meal options as the burger and tofu nuggets wont fill you. I know, I made this mistake :S Expect a wait when the place is full as there is only the owner running the whole cafe. There is seating inside and outside. We sat inside and it was the better choice as you get to soak in the vibe of the place and see the magic of the owner in action.

This was a true gem of a vegan cafe in Nara! We were lucky enough to arrive early before it became busy. The vegan food, made fresh by the lovely lady who runs this place, was the best vegan we've had in Japan so far. The food was truly delicious and the servings generous! The vegan burger is one of the best I've ever had.

We had an amazing lunch there ! The vegan hamburger was very good and the soy soft cream was sweet and delicious. Would definitely recommend this place to vegan people who are looking for an amazing organic and vegan meal in Nara.

The perfect lunch after a morning of walking through Nara and the parklands surrounding. The cafe is so lovely, the owner delightful and the food - oishi! I had the special, my partner the curry, a green juice and a soy coffee. The set meals were around 1200 yen. One of my favourite eating experiences yet.

The whole experience was just amazing. Please please try this place, even if you're not vegan or vegetarian. One sweet woman running it all, and it was very cozy with peaceful music, delicious tea, and SUCH good food ❤️

Cozy vegan restaurant in a small street close to Nara Park. I ordered the Bento set and soy ice cream and both were really good. The lady does all the job by herself (cooking, serving and cleaning) but, despite that, I didn't have to wait very long. I will come back tomorrow if I can. If you're vegan, you have to try this place. And if you're not vegan but want to experience a nice and peaceful atmosphere and good food, I also recommend it.

Pretty restaurant in small street. We both had the brown rice lunch set, and the food was great! Very fresh and tasty ingredients, and quite a few different dishes to taste. Awesome! Loved it.

very very good food, a very welcoming place with a very cute kitten theme everywhere. A very special and mystical place. However, given that the owner is the only person working, it tends to take a long time, so if you go to this place, don't be in a hurry.

We went there for vegan ramen bowl . Alas! It was out of stock. We the had their vegan burger which was delicious . It's a tiny cute looking cafe .

Love the vegan burger but ALL of the sides are also delicious 😋 If you are an impatient person don’t come here; the lady makes it all herself and puts a lot of heart and soul into the dishes - a process that cannot be rushed. ❤️🙇🏻‍♂️

YUMMY! Very cosy and home-vibes place, cat decorations everywhere; waiting time was a bit long, because there was only one cook, but honestly it's worth waiting, because the food was really great, and I want to support vegan cafes as they are not that easy to come by in Japan, so overall would recommend! 😍 Please note that people with mobility issues will have trouble to use the bathroom (because it's tiny and it's behind the cafe, on the other side, need to go through the garden). English menu available, and it's a good one 👌🌟

The food was the best food that we ate in all Japan! Here is a lovely lady prepared our food. It can take some time but it is definitelly worth for waiting. If you come to Nara you must eat here!

Everything was delicious. It is such a perfect place for vegan especialy since it is very hard to find vegan food here. Everything is made from scratch so that's why it takes some time to receive food but it worth the wait !

We’re not vegan but stopped by since my girl friend has a shellfish allergy and vegan ramen is the safest way to go. We both got the spicy noodle dish and it was phenomenal. 10/10, would definitely come again. Great spot to swing by after visiting Nara park since it’s close.
