A very nice and spacious park. Its best feature is that it has GRASS, and a lot of it. So many parks in Japan are just dirt. This is a great place to spend a day with your kids. There are fairly clean public bathrooms and there is a jogging track around the perimeter. They also have basketball hoops, a skateboard area, and roller hockey spaces.

This is such a unique park - a true hidden gem! The grass is spacious, the walking/running trail is smooth and clean, and there’s also vending machines, toilets, water fountains, picnic tables, benches, basketball courts and even a skate park. No matter the time of day, there is always someone enjoying the park - whether it’s families, sports teams, professional marathon runners, or people with their dogs! The best part is the view: the park is surrounded by a beautiful backdrop of the city skyline as well as the mountains.

We went all the way from Gunma to take part in this Festival at this park. It’s a very good place. There were many people enjoying all types of sports. A very good place for family and enjoy with friends. They offer space for skateboarding, running and playing sports. Very easy access as well.

It is very hard to find a place in big-city Japan where you can play basketball without having to pay to rent a court. This place has actual free-for-anyone courts! the whole place looks really nice too. The track is 500 meters, so if you are jogging there just halve your laps for the kilometers!

A great place to do some running to keep in shape during your visit to Japan. A tartan surfaced track that is 460 meters according to the sign at one of the entrances. So 7 laps is 2 miles. A nice big field to play pickup soccer and also some courts to shoot the hoops. 1/2 mile south of Sannomiya station.

It is spacious and depending on the time it can be a bit crowded or not at all. Perfect for jogging, practice sports or dancing or just to have some fun.
