👍👍 I only had a limited time in Kobe and so I decided to really stick with what I wanted to see which was a lot of nature. I saw Nunobiki Herb Garden in one online itinerary post and got curious because of its gorgeous flowers. The tram leading up to it was also come-on for me! It was a great decisio... Beautiful place. Highly reccomend riding the gondola up and walking down if you want to hike. Saw many people on my walk down who were seriously questioning their life choices

I only had a limited time in Kobe and so I decided to really stick with what I wanted to see which was a lot of nature. I saw Nunobiki Herb Garden in one online itinerary post and got curious because of its gorgeous flowers. The tram leading up to it was also come-on for me! It was a great decision. Your adventure starts once you board the tram and you see the spectacle of lush slopes and waterfalls. The upper portion of the gardens is a magnificent scene of a beautiful tiny European-styled village set-off by colorful blooms. The place is Instagram heaven! But, pry yourself away from your camera ( a tough feat, I assure you) and immerse yoir senses in the sights and fragrance of the gardens. I had a fun time exploring the fragrance hall, the salad gardens (haha) and the greenhouse. The highlight of my visit was the dreamy strawberry cheesecake I had: it came as a pouch made out of mochi dough (I assume) holding a good dollop of cream cheese. It was topped with strawberry slices and drizzled with strawberry sauce. It was heaven. I would definitely return another time.

I love the hike up. The scenic view was very nice. This hike is not for beginners. It is a steep incline going up. If not, you can take the cable car up. The shop has great gifts.

A beautiful Park to spend a day! The Ropeway is incredible, but too fast. I'd prefer a more leisurely ride in order to enjoy the views. Lots of beautiful plants, even in fall.

It has well structured flowers and beautiful views of the mountains, sea and cities. It is ideal for families and those going for dating.

Lovely place up here. You can take the ropeway up and hike down or vice versa. Scenery during the ropeway ride is superb!!

A good place to get away from the city and either spend some time having a picnic or enjoying a drink and meal on the top. Highly recommend taking the ropeway up to the top and walking down the hill. There's a trail that comes all the way down to Shin Kobe train station if you decide to take a one way ride to the top. There is a water resavoir and waterfall along the trail. It's much easier to walk down from the top, especially during the hot and muggy summer months.

This park is very beautiful and not so crowded, we took the Rope Car to the herb garden which is very nice view of Kobe port, and the herbs garden is beautiful and organized, yet as everywhere in Japan many stores for those herbs products and other souvenirs, then we hike all the way back beautiful waterfalls and site seen, it takes about 45 min, you ends up at Shin Kobe train station..

I am really disappointed of this park. I found the waterfall there has very little water supply. Which make the waterfall less attractive than in the picture I saw. But still is a good place to relax. Loved the view you can saw on the top of the hill.

Relaxing mountain side trail to hike through. Very safe, quiet, and relaxing stroll. Breathtaking views of the mountains and Kobe. Can start on the trail pretty much right out of shin-kobe station. Best of all it's all free.
