Stunning place. Very relaxing. Food is above average. Only suggestion is : make a barrier on the bank of the lake. Else kids might fall into the water.

The location is a little inside from the main road, but you will be happy to see the view from the restaurant and the arrangements. The staffs are so welcoming to each and every guest. We went for lunch and the typical seafood main was well enough for us to enjoy. Great place 😃

Me and my friends visited this restaurant during a weekday night. The restaurant was kind of filled out. We had booked out table in advance as we knew this place is usually crowded. This place is 🔥.Both the food and ambience was awesome .Best place for a evening sunset and dinner was affordable & superb.Swargam special beef was the main item that stands out.The service provided by the staff was really nice and quick.We really enjoyed the place and had a great time there.Thank You Swargam Team for your effort for maintaining this customer satisfaction . Only suggestion is to develop a proper parking space to avoid water logging during rains as it feels difficult to get out of the car .

Beautiful ambience and yummy food at an affordable rate. Whether it be with family or friends this spot would definitely make for a great experience. Parking space is plenty and you might want to reserve your space in advance on weekends to avoid the waiting time. P.S - I tried the swargakozhi and prawns masala and both were exceptionally good. Best spot for enjoying food with ambience of the backwater and sunset. Started visiting the place since it's starting. They are improving their menu with varities of naadan dishes and beverages. Have started a kulfi counter with wide range of flavours at reasonable price. The place will be difficult to reach as it is situated in a remote area with narrow road but u won't be disappointed with the place after u reach there. The food is good and may get finished if u get there late at night. Will be very crowded in evening time and weekends so would be wise to book and go there

This was one of the best sea food experiences I had in a very long time. The fish were fresh and tasted really good. The restaurant is situated on the banks of a water front adding to the experience. I recommend reaching the location by 05:30 pm to experience the sunset also.

'Swargam' Restaurant in Kochi is reminiscent of 'Shacks' in Goa. Enjoyed very delicious and quality food. They served food without any delay , was impressive. Great Ambience with lights and decors with the background of backwaters.

First thing that comes to our mind when we reach there is how peaceful the place is.. Away from the city rush at a peaceful place overlooking the backwaters.. Perfect place to visit with Family and friends.. the whole atmosphere is so relaxing.. They got wide variety of food option and all of them were really good.. Best time to visit would be during sunset to enjoy the view.. night is said to be crowded and needs reservations to get in too , i went in the evening without any reservations luckily was not crowded and got space..They have ample parking space and good staffs n service aswel.. Definitely worth the visit..

Swargam” is a restaurant situated on the bank of a branch of Vembanad lake. It is 10 km away from Vyttila Mobility Hub and 3 km away from Kumbalam Toll Plaza. The structure is made up of bamboo and coconut leaves. There are no brick walls or concrete roofs. The serving tables are made with wood. For seating purpose, wooden benches are provided with different measurements. There are single seater double seater and three and four seater benches. The main benefit with this different measurement benches is they can accommodate groups with different numbers of persons within no time. After a 10 member group finishes their food, they can easily split into two groups with six persons and four persons quickly. They provide a number of varieties of food such as Chapati, Pathri, Appam, Idiyappam, Putt and different types of chicken curry, beef curry, prawns curry etc. Black tea and different types of juices are also available. Pre-booking is necessary to have food at this place. The working hours are from 3 pm to 11 pm. In the evening we can see the sunset very clearly from its compound. Ample car parking is also available there. Security personnel are available to control the parking. It is a little difficult for the elderly people, children and handicapped persons to walk through the car parking area because of the different sizes of rubble pieces spread all over. To protect the people, especially children, falling into the lake, fencing can be provided along the coast.

Place has great ambience and pretty good views of the kayal. Food is pretty decent ( tried duck, beef). Ample parking space, however the road to the place is pretty bad and hardly space for a single vehicle to pass. Overall the place is worth a visit especially at night

Great spot to catch the sunset along the backwaters at Kumbalam, as you look out towards Aroor and Edakochi. They also serve tea, snacks and naadan food. Start off with a kattan chai and enjoy the sunset and slowly work up an appetite for an early dinner. We ordered a few kattan chais, beef roast, prawn roast, Swargam special beef, chapattis and kappa, all totalling up to around ₹950. Caution : the servers will hustle you to order otherwise you have to clear off the table after an hour. They don’t tell you this when you call to make a reservation and this can lead to consternation and irritation. Knocked off two stars because of this

Been here couple of times. The ambience, food quality and taste is what dragged us here second time. By that time they have improved a lot and made the place much better. Keep going team Swargam. If you're going to Swargam you won't regret the distance, bcz its nice location. You won't regret about the food quality and taste bcz it's one of its kind. You may regret a little bit on the route but looking at the end result you'll forget that by the time you finish your food. Must try!!

Swargam or Heaven, offers a heavenly view and good food to glutton. Approach road is narrow and only one car can pass, but they have adequate parking at the premises. For best experience, book a table for 6-7 PM slot, reach by 5.30PM, enjoy the sunset and then enjoy the meal while being serenaded by cool evening breeze.

Let me tell you directly without any filters, there is a dialogue in the movie Ustad Hotel, " kazhikkunavante manassu nirayanam" , and when I left the place, we were happy and that's what I felt special about this place. Located in the back waters, it gives you refreshing moments with the cool evening breeze, the music, and the food... If you ask me, I would suggest blocking the evening time slot, 04:30 to 05:30 of Kadavu next to the back water. Suggest to block Kadavu than Koodaram. As it takes some time to serve your or,you may try the kulfi shop within the premises. Having kulfi, enjoying the breeze, and evening backwater visuals was a good memorable moment for us. You may start your orders with Swargam chicken or beef. We went for chicken, kallappam, mani puttu, pathiri, squid, and neymeem roast. The food was not that expensive. You may still find that on the higher side. Can't comment the food to be a must try one. But it's the combo of the ambiance, the place and the food that gives you a good experience. Accepts all mode of payment. Parking is available for all reservations.

Excellent food. Good service. Clean wash and dining area. There might be a wait before getting your table and the duration may vary in peak hours. Better book over phone or through website. Small seats by the lakeside are arranged but mosquitoes are a real menace. There is a kulfi store also. Once you place the order, the service is quick. The road to the restaurant is really rough and a very narrow mud road. Restaurant open till around 11 30pm. Online offline payments accepted.

The ambience is very great with inland waters flowing and the cold breeze continuously hitting us. But the food was not worth the price. There was only a limited number of food items to select from, even though the mutton and beef curry was so good.

The taste of the dishes they have is simply awesome especially the swargam chicken. But when it’s come to service this time we are totally disappointed. We booked our seats very prior to our visit while booking it self we checked regarding the availability of dishes since it was a new year night. But once we are there almost all the dishes are not available even the breads like appam, puttu are unavailable. Also the way service team handle this is not appropriate. I will encourage to book your seat prior and make sure the dishes that you are looking is available while booking itself. Still i will recommend swargam because of its taste and ambience. If you're going to Swargam you won't regret the distance, because it’s nice ambiance and location. You won't regret about the food taste because it's one of its kind. You may regret a little bit on the route to the restaurant but looking at the end result you'll forget that by the time you finish your food. Don't go for lunch as it is very hot to sit there. Better go for dinner. Also it's very smelly because of the backwater.. Apart from all this, it looks good from outside. But food is not that good. All the sea foods tastes the same. Not happy with the staffs as well, they were not even giving an extra plate.!

Customer service can be improved.. due to the time of the year it was a bit humid even during dusk.. if they had soothing music which goes well with the ambience that wud also have been an add-on..
