One of the Worstest medical services given by the doctors and nurses.. Especially the Gastroenterology doctor is the Worstest doctor I have ever seen the way he comes for rounds for inpatient is like PM coming for Road Show,/Walkathon , we have requested him many times for seeing the patient he comes with the body guard they protect like no one should try to meet him. And while coming to the hospital management they will make patients to lie down on floor with out any coat or proper care been given for patients. And the management will give irresponsible answer that we can give only this kind of treatment in government hospital and they even not bother to give references to other hospital even they can't save the patient life. Such a horrible experience with the doctors and management.. Pls don't even think of getting admitted to any kind of patients it's like bringing our death near..

One of the best and topmost Medical College in Kerala. Number of departments are here with Number of buildings and good facilities. Have facilities from Casualties to Cancer Care Center. MCH also have a Govt. Dental College attached to It. Medical College have a bunch of good faculties to guide the Medical Students from 1st Year to Last Year. The campus is about 8 km north of Kottayam in Gandhinagar - Arpookkara area in Central Kerala.

Not too bad... Cons- 1.infrastructure is so old 2.No proper place for visitors(lack of space) 3.No public dustbins 4.Not seen any public toilets(struggled) Comparing it to tvm medical college it's too low....far down. Pros- 1.Huge place for parking 2.No block and well directed road system 3.effective staffs and securities 4.Good treatment "Placing a map board will be so helpful for unknown or new visors"

Archaic, narrow minded and highly discriminatory Kottayam medical College hospital Gynaecology building. The Gynaecology building has a very narrow minded setup. I am surprised no one has raised this as an issue before. 1. Men are not allowed to meet the Gynaecologist with their wives !!! 2. Waiting area inside the building is for women and the one outside is for men. 3. No washroom for men 4. No drinking water facility for anyone. One of the poorest and narrow minded setups facility-wise in kerala. Will not recommend this hospital if you can afford private hospitals.

Getting the right treatment in right time. Nowadays the facilities and neatness is very good and in some areas is better than private sector.A team of doctors and the care we are getting after a major operation is great. The cost of the service we are getting is unbelievable .. comparing with private sector.

Even after seven generations, I'll never forget this hospital. Doctors do the Achilles tendon cut treatment Quickly and clearly . This speed has never before been noticed anywhere. It appeals to me a lot. Once again very very big thank you and salute to Kerala government.

It's brilliant...One of the best medical colleges in India. Location is very ideal and good parking facilities and atmosphere. There are speciality and known speciality departments here. Many good food counters are there with reasonable rate. Apartment from hospital pharmacy, different pharmacy by neethi, Karunya, etc are offering quality medicnes at cheap rate to public. One must get the op ticket and then register the op ticket at allotted counters to consult the doctor. Doctors are good and the attitude of attenders are not upto the mark. That's why I rated one star less. You must have good patience to follow up que everywhere.

Often this OP block is more crowded. So we have to queue here. There are 3 separate queues for old OP and new OP. 1, 2, 3 queues are given to new OP and 4, 5, 6 queues to old OP respectively. The security guard standing at the door of the OP block will tell you where to go. When there is a certain number of people, the rest will be told to wait at the door. The fixed number is the number of chairs that will seat us before we reach the counter. No need to pay for renewal but 5 rupees to be paid while taking new ticket.
