Completely over priced...!! My molar extracted from here and charged Rs.4400( Green card), (Blue card- the charge was 2800). The same time my uncle extracted his molar from a clinic with charge of 2200 and he also said that some clinic only charges of Rs.1700. I believed myself that my case would have complicated,that might be the reason they charged double. After few weeks I went this hospital for the consultation to extract my wife's molar and they said the charge would be Rs.4400... I had a doubt in that and in the same day I consulted in a clinic and they said charge would e within Rs.2000.... Mahe dental college is really exploiting poor people who believe that charge is lesser than market price. If local clinic charges 1700, the blue card price should be 1400, instead they are charging double that is 2800. When little complicated case local clinic charge maximum of Rs.2200, mahe college charges double amount i.e 4400. I am regretted that I took service from here...!!! So, guys be cautious while dealing with this college. Update : Based on the below response from the hospital, I called to the number and discussed..!!! They admitted that they are not aware of the outside clinic charges and Mahe hospital impaction rate is fixed i.e 4400 ( that is double than market or clinic charges). For ensuring my claim, I have called almost 8 clinics for the price of molar impaction. All clinics have confirmed that the impaction price is around 2200. At any cost , a maximum of Rs.3000 for the highest complicated cases. However, in my wife's case, i visited the second clinic directly to reaffirm the price. It's only Rs.2200 max...!!! For the same, mahi dental college priced Rs.4400/- They are emphasising that VIP treatment ( Green card) is costlier. But I wonder what extra facilities they provide than outside the clinic. Even I feel outside the clinic having better facilities like air conditioning, new equipment etc. Also, blue card with a long wait itself charges more than the clinic charges. My extaction was performed not in Green card room. It was extracted from the room where extraction perform for blue card members also. Charges for Impaction : Outside clinic - Rs.2200 Blue card in Mahe - Rs.2800 Green card in Mahe -Rs. 4400 Note : I don't urge anyone not to visit mahe dental hospital for impaction. It is upto you whether you need to get the service for double price than clinic charges.Thank you.

Good dental hospital. Well equipped infrastructure. The doctors,staff are all well trained. Had a great experience, the doctors staff and the students were polite and understanding. And the Bills are at affordable rate (comparatively less expensive in my experience).
