One of the best vegetarian restaurant in Kannur town. Tasty food and neat place to dine in. Tried Masala dosa 5/5 Vada 5/5 Paper roast 4/5 ( I think it's not in their menu but still they managed to serve. Size was a bit small with less side dish, else it was tasty only) Must say very good service. 5/5

I’ve been a fan of Quality restaurant located near railway station, but this one outranks it! They provide the best Vada and onion uthappam in kannur here! The quality of food is great and customer service where also top noch! Kesari used to be good, but it felt a bit dry when we tried today.

One of the best vegetarian restaurant in Kannur. Good masala Dosa and Vada. Great coffee . Can get good tasty vegetarian meal for lunch. . Place is neat and clean. Quick service and staffs are well behaved. Sometimes it's get crowded. A busy restaurant throughout day. Good parking facilities are available. Just tried their Gobi Manchurian, a big flop and Paneer butter masala too., for sure if you had it before from other places. Just go for south Indian menu.

A veg lover"s paradise!!!!!! I went there around 9 pm with less hopes, but i was truly amazed!!!! Ordered A Masala dosa ,a Vada and 2 Filter coffee and Kesari for Dessert. The Dosa was way too good with its size and taste😍😍😍 and i was surprised by the crispness and quality of the vada, which was Vere level💯💯 I used to have Filter coffee whenever i went to a vegetarian Restaurant and this time also i tried not one but two filter coffees ☺️☺️ The coffee was great and i will definitely comeback for it. Kesari was not that much appealing, because my tastebudds were already saturated with sugar.. but it was good. The staffs are From Tamilnadu and they are ready to help with anything you need, with a smile under their mask. I don't know how the rush hour look like in this place, but i will definitely recommend this place for dining with your family- if you are into hardcore south Indian vegetarian cusine😀😀😀 One important thing- Plenty of parking space 👍 Planning to comeback with few friends and tryout few varieties in the menu.... Veg lovers,Don't miss this place!!!!!!

One of the best & rarest restaurants that serve authentic Tamilian Style meals & other delicacies situated right in the heart of Kannur City.❣️ Meals served by them were excellent & it includes 3 side dishes & payasam.Other dishes includes wide varieties of dosa ,Idli & Channa-Battura(Available only at evening hours). On my second visit ,Tried their Poori Masala,Masala Dosa & Coffee ... Masala Dosa with their tomatoe chutney, coconut chutney & sambar was absolute delite.. On 4th visit tried their Channa-Battura... Channa masala was simply exquisite combined with their coffee✨❣️ Supporting staff was bit non-responsive even when rush was at peak. Parking space is very ample but connective roads are bit narrow & has frequent heavy traffic.⚓

Hotel sree vaishnavees is one of my favourite vegetarian restaurants in Kannur. It is open early in the morning with delicious breakfast. I tried all their varieties of dosa including plain, masala, ghee, garlic podi, curry leaves podi etc. along with milk tea and coffee. These dosas are always available there. Their meals for the lunch was also nice and worthy for the money. Customer service was good. Limited parking available infront of the restaurant.

Food was okay ish. But the service! Ugh!!! It was so slow.. Even though there waiters running throughout the hotel nobody came to our table for almost 20 minutes. They were asking people who already started eating whether they want sth else for almost 2,3 times. And the real comedy was when the food arrived. We ordered masala dosa and ghee roast and when the food arrived the waiter to know which is which touched the food with his bare hand, the same one which used to carry other peoples plates, waste and what not. Even at the counter the person there had no time to make eye contact with customer, only his hands were to take money🙂🙂🙂 went there with high expectations and returned with utter disappointment and disgust.

Very good south Indian food is especially without coconut oil. Hygiene is maintained well. Good hospitality by the staff. Recommended for people who prefer South Indian food.

I took Veg meals as Lunch. The food is on Tamil style and they are offering two curries in that taste. They are serving applam instead of pappadam. Restaurant is neat and clean. Staff are very supportive.

Whenever I travel, I love to eat the local cuisine, or visit places that are famous in that particular city. Instead of eating the breakfast in the hotel we stayed in, my friends and I decided to visit Hotel Sree Vaishnaves. This is one of the most popular restaurants in Kannur and once we read the reviews, we were tempted to try out the place. As it can get very crowded in the morning, we decided to go right when it opens.  The weather was quite cool as it had rained in the night, so we took a short and sweet walk to our destination. The restaurant is situated on the side road, so there is ample parking for two and four wheelers. We were the first set of customers that day. The restaurant is spacious and bright with comfortable seating.  As soon as we sat down, the waiter came to our table and recited the items available for breakfast. When I heard the word, "Pongal," I knew that is what I was going to order because Pongal - especially the typical South Indian style from Tamil Nadu, is my all time favorite.  Though I'm not a fan of ghee, I don't mind a few drops here and there in the Pongal.  The condiments of Sambhar and Coconut Chutney complemented the Pongal perfectly.  To wash this down, I ordered a tumbler of hot and frothy filter coffee. My friend ordered a plate of Masala Dosa which was served with Sambhar and Chutney.  The Dosa is so huge, that it can be shared with another person! There was generous amount of the potato filling too. Another friend ordered a plate of single Vada.  It was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.  Just like the other dishes, the Vada was also served with Sambhar and Chutney. Finally, my other friend ordered a Plain Dosa which she said tasted yummy. The Tamilian style Sambhar is something different from the kind you get anywhere else.  The amalgamation of the powders is what enhances the flavor and makes you want to eat more spoonfuls. The food was delicious, the prices were quite reasonable, service was quick and the hand wash area was clean too. Near the billing counter, there were some packets of snacks kept for sale like Banana Chips, Tapioca Chips, Mixture, Murukku, etc. I would highly recommend Hotel Sree Vaishnaves for a delicious vegetarian and authentic Tamilian breakfast.  Don't miss it! 😋

Food is ok only. You will get a good parking in this restaurant but food is not much as expected. I have tried their dhahi poori it tastes good. Dosa’s doesn’t meet the orginal tamil dosa. Need much more improvements. Paav bhaji we got was filled with paneer that doesn’t have the taste of bhaji. Tea is ok but average only. Tea also should improve.

This is the main Pure vegetarian hotel in Kannur. They are serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is situated just opposite of Pillayar Kovil. I had masala dosa and Vada. That was rich in taste. Good tasty masala i got. Also the chutney and sambar was delicious. Rich in quantity and quality. Worth of money. The only negative i felt was, there is no attached toilet available at the hotel.

Good vegetarian hotel. The best part is they have a humongous parking area. Food is delicious and the place is neat and clean. Might get crowded during morning and evening but have a good waiting area available.

The food in this pure vegetarian restaurant is really tasty and flavorful. The place is very clean. Lot of parking available. The staff is extremely friendly. Great South Indian food with some Chinese and North Indian options based on when you come. All the dosha items were excellent. It is a vegetarian lovers paradise. Highly recommended.
