The services and professionals available here are the best in the city. However, they charge 2x or 3x the cost at other hospitals. It is bloody expensive but yet the ones who couldnt afford tends to come here since there aint an alternative option. It is very much crowded almost all time and the management needs to restructure the token system since people are fed up of waiting.

I am in mims assisting my mother in law for last few days, I have few observations and scope of improvement for hospital. Hope there is some analysis doing from back end by your admin team. Mini stationary store 4. Neat and clean premises 5. Taken Care of covid protocols 6. Neat restaurant and good chinese dishes 7. Floor wise pantry for quick snacks 8. Bus stop accessibility 9. Experienced doctors,nurses and well behaved staffs NEGATIVE :- 1.Digitization of services 2.Lack of chairs in ICU waiting lobby 3.ICU door attendants to manage work more effectively, could have call bystanders and try to coordinate maximum over phone rather than asking to wait outisde ICU without a chair 4. Have seen our Audio and video is monitored and recorded in few conference rooms, this is very much personal and dont feel it is a right way to do without our permission 5. Improve co-ordination in cafeteria, waiting period is high Other feedbacks:- 1.Have not seen much CSR activities initiated by Aster, i might have missed if so ignore 2.The stationary store inside hospital is a mess, need to organize better for a great experience 3.Should have facility to rate doctor based on our experience 4.Medical expenses is way high, if possible bring out some special packages for poor people as well 5. Bit expensive hospital, they couldn’t keep the international standards here. And all the spaces in hospital is very small. And more crowded. There is proper parking for patients or customers. They only arranged parking for doctors and staffs. Canteen and near area are not clean. Parking available outside the hospital, there is no proper road or way.

One among the best hospitals in Kannur, I had a good experience when i had my uncle admited here. The staffs here are very caring and are offering a good service. Definitely this is not a budget friendly hospital, but you will get the service worth the price you pay.

This hospital serves as a referral hospital in this locality. Well equipped, good ambience, very neat and clean. Clear navigation of department's are available. Always crowded in this hospital, a long queue is seen in front of the pharmacy most of the days. Nice canteen is there on the basement. Parking option should increase.

I was here with my wife in the OB/GYN department. The OB/GYN department at MIMS hospital is not at all spacious, excessively crowded despite having over 4 doctors available. Surprisingly, the hospital's restroom is more spacious than this department. Pregnant women often find themselves standing for prolonged periods, and navigating through the area without bumping into someone is quite challenging.

Stayed at Aster due to Covid and I was quite pleased with the quality of food provided during my stay. The meals were well-balanced and healthy, providing me with the necessary nutrition during my recovery. The staff were attentive to my dietary needs and made sure to accommodate any specific requests I had. The variety of food options was also impressive, and I never felt bored with the meals provided. Overall, I was very satisfied with the treatment received.

They couldn’t keep the international standards here & all the spaces in hospital is Patients admitted even reception and corridor & more crowded ,There is no proper Room available for admitted the patients ( For delivery ,ICU ,Emergency),They taking new patients without available rooms.Even if we booked early also at day of admission they are telling no available rooms,you have to stand outside,even patients also not getting proper facilities because of that they’re mentally not comfortable. One of the best hospitals in Kannur. Located on Kannur Chala Bypass. Most all departments are avilable here. It is very busy at all times. Parking facility is limited. The hospital premises and interior are very neat and clean. The biggest problem was the overcrowding in the pharmacy. You can buy medicine if you wait for about half an hour. If you take the Kannur-Kozhikod bus, you can get off in front of the hospital.

Disappointing Experience at the Gynaecology Department I am writing this review to share my extremely disappointing experience with the gynaecology department. My intention is to provide constructive feedback and raise awareness regarding the issues I encountered. I want to express my disappointment and frustration over the lack of room availability upon my admission to gynaecology department for my wife first delivery. We choose ASTER MIMS, Kannur to get good facilities and care, Unfortunately we didn’t received basic facilities. It is necessary for me to share this negative experience in order to shed light on the issue and urge for improvements in the future. Upon my scheduled admission date, I arrived at the facility filled with hope and expectation of receiving timely care. However, to my dismay, I was informed that there were no rooms available, this is not only my experience but also lot of people struggling with admission department to get the allocation for their room, the major thing is we need to the pay the room bill without getting a proper room at the time of admission. The lack of room availability not only caused undue distress but also contributed to a significant inconvenience. I had made arrangements in my personal and professional life to ensure a smooth transition into the facility, but those plans were completely disrupted due to this frustrating issue. Moreover, the lack of communication before my admission exacerbated the problem. I would have appreciated being informed beforehand about the possibility of limited room availability, allowing me to make an informed decision about proceeding with my admission or pursuing other options. Furthermore, the impact on patient care cannot be overlooked. It is essential that patients receive prompt and appropriate care upon admission, especially in critical situations. The delay caused by the lack of room availability could potentially have adverse effects on patient outcomes and overall well-being. Clear and transparent communication is crucial in such cases. Pregnant women deserve to be informed about the likelihood of limited room availability before their admission. Very disappointed with the booking for urologist . Not only that the urologist doctor is very bad in service . Not properly checking the patient . Have to be more kind and polite to patient. My mother waited a whole week for his appointment and the way he consulted her was very poor . He didn’t even ask or check her history or test reports. Expected good service but disappointed.

A well equipped hospital in Kannur with leading doctors in town. This serves as a referral hospital in this locality. Almost every speciality and super speciality doctors are available here, including an endocrinologist which is a rare skill set. Only exception I could find is a Retinal Surgeon. Best thing about this hospital is the nursing care, angles are doing a great job here. Other paramedical staffs are also good, my experience with dialysis unit is excellent. Patients can reach out to Manager on Duty (MoD) for any of their needs, this team doing a wonderful job under pressure. This hospital is always crowded, a long queue is seen in front of the pharmacy most of the days. Getting a room is also tough here. Canteen on the basement, Cinnamon Kitchen is also good. It's more of a multi cuisine restaurant than a hospital canteen. Try to avoid the stationery shop in the ground floor, it's expensive, also many of the items are low quality. Comparing to the other hospitals in town, it's expensive too...

Most popular super speciality hospital in Kannur. Located at chala along Thalassery - Kannur National Highway. Hospital is maintained neat and clean. Service is also very good. But, it is always crowded. Out patient area in first floor is always crowded. Very limited seats. Most of them will be compelled to stand for hours. Hospital should be expanded to accommodate more patients. Parking facility is available. But, this is not meeting even half of the total requirements. Here, No electronic token display for most OP patients. So, patients will never know, how much they have to wait. Today, I have an appointment at C14. Waited for 3 hours. Still don't know how much I have to wait, since there were no token. Nurse at the door keeps the receipt in her hand. Make a smooth and transparent token system.

Had a very good experience in this hospital. I had a ligament surgery here. The surgery was done by Dr. Sreehari. He told me all the possibilities of the surgery. Had a successful surgery. I was very well taken care by the nurse and staffs of the hospital, they were so caring and helpful. If there was an option to give smiley to all the nurses and staffs i will give it to them. The room which I was given had all the facilities and was very hygienic. The food service was very good. Thank you aster for taking care of me.

Recently visited here for check up. The entire process from check in to the end was seamless. The staff at the health check department was helpful and very attentive. Also the hospital ambience clean and quiet. I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone looking for something services.

My in law did his hernea Operation from MIMS Kannur and I must say that based on the experience it was very good.Very neat and clean hospital and since he was aged above 75 years, everything was take care of including the food for the patient.A care taker was also allowed to stay along with him despite covid times and there is a nice canteen as well for the bystanders. Have a look at the view from the hospital room and certainly its so pleasant. But do please bear in mind that the total expenses will be high.For our case a stay in hospital for 2 days along with operation costed around INR80,000.

Very good doctors and extreme opposite irresponsible staffs. At midnight, my daughter was ill, so we took her to Casualty. However, they were told that time there is no room available. I request and the hospital made a reservation, and we were supposed to receive a room the next evening. However, after checking multiple times and reminding them of the room request, they informed us that there had been no room request from the patient. This seemed strange considering that I went there several times to check for room availability, and they advised me to just wait for the evening. This irresponsible behavior among staff members not only impairs the overall functioning of the institution but also compromises the quality of care provided to patients. By implementing recommended measures such as training, enforcing policies, and addressing individual performance issues, the hospital can take significant steps towards fostering a culture of professionalism and improving the quality of care for its patients

It was a comfortable stay. The staff was very concerned and helpful. Especially a staff named aswathi in physiotherapy department.she helped me a lot. She is a best asset for your hospital. Overall a great experience. Keep up the good work.

This hospital give very satisfied experience.I got great full behaviours from the hospital staff's doctors especially the Physiotherapy staff Ms Aswathy mam. I really want to say that She's is very matured and her behaves in patients is very good. With her presence We the people with patient and the patient also feel we are safe because of her care. I think she have a great knowledge about this field and she knows how it take care. That's why we feel safe.

Everyone over here are professionals starting from the Doctors, Nurses, Attenders and even the the canteen staff who serves the food to the rooms. After varicose vein surgery i came here for review, Actually i am suffering from leg pain but you people are not provide proper seat for rest.I searched every where and i noticed that people afraid of standing cause every one want to sit. Everyone looking for the seat availability. It is not a good thing for your side.Don't expect those things from your end. As a patient you don't provide proper attention to me. Not satisfied at all.I will never come here for sure. And also bad staffs behavior as well.

Arrived here as an emergency, the medical team quickly took action and performed the life saving surgery on my mother, I was impressed by the professionalism and kindness with which the doctors addressed our concerns in the moment of crisis. Post surgery too I was happy with which the nurses took care of my mother, a special mention to the cleaning staff that ensured that the room was always clean and disinfected. Bystanders too can avail the benefit of a well stocked cafeteria, the food and service here too was outstanding. My worry was lessened a great deal by the treatment received here for that and everything else I am grateful.

I had visited this hospital with my mother. Hospital facilities are good. But Treatment after care is not good as expected. Pulmonology opinion was taken for breathlessness but their coordination with other department like general medicine and dermatology was not there. she complained of difficulty in eating and vomiting to the general medicine department which was not taken care. And also pulmonology doctor gave review after 3 weeks with heavy medication which resulted in mouth ulcer and she was not able to eat and her sodium became lowandnow she is again hospitalized.
