Not sure how did I missed this place, it’s been there for 8 years and haven’t noticed it. If you are non veg lover this is one of the best place to have food. We been served with Nattukozhi soup at the beginning and followed by main course. It’s a combo they provide which consists to 7-8 starters/sides, 3 types of non veg curry and Non veg Biryani. Finishing with sweet payasam, Ice cream and some traditional sweet items like Thean Mittai, Kamarkattu and few.. all these they provide for 630 per person. The non veg starters are mutton blood, mutton head curry, mutton liver, mutton chukka, Mint chicken fry, Nattukozhi fry, egg fry, Kaadai, fish and prawn pickle.

Worst customer service. I have already confirmed about their timings through phone and went there for lunch around 2.15. The lady at service asked me to wait for 20mins bcoz the briyani was not yet ready. So I was waiting there for more than half an hour but no response from her. I volunteerly asked her for a table so she asked me come inside. After few minutes she says that some side dishes was also not available, it will take another half an hour to serve me. If you don't have enough food to serve then why you asked me wait. Is this is the way you treat a customer?

Worst place, worst food quality, service and quantity. we confirmed table for 2.30 pm waited for 20 mins. Finally we had to eat the left overs. One of the family next to us was pleading at least give some water. Too much greedy and unfit for the profession. Their own staff were complaining about over booking and unable to serve, they were rude too. At last they collected full money without serving all items. Horrible experience.

We group of friends after our NGO conference at Coimbatore from 13th to 16th July 2017.we went to this place on 17th. Food is fantastic. They received well and served affectionately. Range of items is excellent. Owner kalidas and his brother are friendly. We were very happy with the way they received. We recommend it as a nice choice for foodies.

Location, Service all Good. Quality wise food is good. But taste wise they need to improve. All nonveg starters are in same taste. Pepper Chicken, Country Chicken, Kudal Fry, Thalai Kari all taste same.

They offered a good service but the mutton fry, Kudal fry, Thala Kari all tastes the same and there was no difference since the masala used was same. The Tomato chicken, chicken fry, Mint chicken these also tasted the same and there was no difference in taste. Otherwise the Biriyani, Kadai chilli and Neithuli fish chilly tasted good. Don't expect an outstanding taste it is as normal as usual.

I have been searching for a good unlimited meals and came across a keda viruthu style meals and planned to have for the lunch and their ambience was really nice and they have a big parking space and at first all their chicken and mutton starters were really nice don't miss their Kudal Fry and Ratha poriyal their Mutton briyani flavour was really very nice all the mutton pieces were cooked properly they will give a mutton gravy for briyani please don't miss it, And all are unlimited quantity and all were made of homemade masala and enjoyed their meals at last they will serve thean mittai or kadalai mittai and after a month I have given them a catering order for our house warming function for both breakfast and lunch even the breakfast they serve with good taste and lunch I have ordered Mutton briyani with Chilli chicken and boiled egg and gave order for 150 people's they are proper in their time and the service boy's did their perfect job and all our guest were happy After the function so I highly recommend for their lunch and got catering order please don't miss it..

The "Virundhu" full meals is one of the best in town. They serve more than 8 non veg dishes along with biryani and then finally Payasam. All inclusive in the full meals. The taste is great.

One of most worst people I have seen in the hotel... The behavior the staff are literally worst... They serve nothing even after a longtime... They are not even responded... There was not much people in the restaurant still they are not ready to serve. We just left with empty stomach finally... Can't explain in words.... Don't go there

I went to yesterday this hotel. Non veg items really tasty particularly mutton chops I liked very much and customer handled was very good

Wonderful Lunch experience at Nanjai restaurant. We went as a group of close to 40 people and they did very well. Dishes tasted nice especially their mint chicken and natukozhi Varuval and mutton Chops and the servings were unlimited. Thanks to Mr.Dhanasekar the manager there who organized everything customized to our needs. Will definitely recommend for Team lunches and get togethers and family outings. Keep up the great service!!!

First visit to this restaurant. I kept minimum expectations during that visit. Their food is very delicious I never expected that much. More importantly their service is extraordinary. Servants serving food with simile face. I strongly recommend this to all… keep going and all the best to the team Nanjai Restaurant.

Please don't visit this place and get disappointed, the staffs behave like don't care about the customers and they do worst service. Overall very bad experience and frustration. Will never visit again.

Of course this was one of the best restaurant in the city. But now a days their food quality, service and ambience all are below average. Definitely they should improve the taste.

Weekday lunch. It was a real virundhu on a banana leaf. Three varieties of chicken, three of mutton and two of fish served with amazing chicken biriyani and soup. Couldn't finish all that was served. Finally there was payasam and ice cream. NOTE: Virundhu non veg thali available readily for lunch. Need to order in advance if you need virundhu for dinner. Otherwise, only tiffin served for dinner. Weekends seem to get crowded - will be good to book table in advance.

Over hyped place Little over priced and food is not up to mark .. varieties of side side available are available but taste wise ok ...not a wow one Briyani vayala vaika mydiyala..

Had a dinner with family, it's complete homely food taste was just awesome. Heartfelt satisfied service and good place. Must to visit here for non veg lover. All varieties are no words to explain just awwee. Good persons to serve better like family member. Nice experience. Thanks for this wonderful treat.

Definitely it is virunthu. Kind of a buffet but food will come to your table. Chicken biryani with anchovies fish fry, mutton, thala, kudal gravies, pepper chicken, tomato chicken, Kaadai fry. All were good and unlimited. It is not too spicy and even kids able to enjoy most of the items. White rice with chicken, mutton and fish curry also good.. I literally tried all non-veg options. In the end gulanth to eat with curd rice, unlimited ice cream. More than food their service was awesome. Restaurant atmosphere clean, calm and more suited for families. People like me who like medium spicy food and non veg lovers must try this restaurant.

Delicious food ..always my favourite place for non veg

Excellent place for a great lunch.... starting of with a spicy cup of soup, a large banana leaf is place and topped with 10 non veg side dishes. Then the main dish biriyani and onion raitha is served.... It was one of the best biriyani I ever had.... Then followed by steam rice with three types of kulambu- chicken, mutton, fish left us astonished.. followed by rasam and curd have a great finish... It was the only hotel which told me we have only curd not buttermilk.... It was a great challenge to finish all the dishes... Then we were given a cup of ice cream and betel leaves-for digestion.... All the dishes were delicious.. The best part is all these come at a price of Rs 500... It was a great experience and I would recommend​ everyone to try this hotel and go there with a empty stomach 😁

Yeh quite good place , if you are a foodie you should explore this place in coimbatore , located in center of the city , but if you are not a foodie this place is not for you . Cost is valuable for foodies . We went there for team lunch , quite good some of them satisfied but not everybody , to be average man this is quite costly . Cooperate's you ppl can plan lunch here good place for you guys ...!!

Totally a different experience a must try for all the food lovers especially non-veg lovers... There are few pros and cons but you will have a good experience for sure.

I am veg, This review is from my friends. This is a treat for Non-veg south indian meals. Must try if you visit Coimbatore or around this place. Many varieties to try out.

The food is healthy,good and unlimited. But they have disappointed me, as we called enquired about the menu they said they had it we travelled 20km from home and when reaching there they said they didn't have that particular item. Disappointed 😔
