If we are talking about the atmosphere of watching KBFC matches here, its a once in a life experience. But if we talk about the stadium, its pathetic. The minimum ticket here is Rs 249 but what we get for that money is not worth it. Only the grass looks good here. The stadium from painting to chairs need immediate renovation. There is no screen for viewers in one side. And Crowd management after the game is horrible. Hope some renovations happen soon. โ™ฟ๏ธโŒ๏ธno wheelchair access ๐Ÿš˜โœ…๏ธparking ๐ŸšฐโŒ๏ธno drinking water

The stadium is well known as it is the Home Ground of Kerala Blasters. The stadium has also hosted many International Football and Cricket Matches. The current seating capacity is said to be 39,000 but more crowd can be contained in the stadium. The building and infrastructure is great. But the maintenance is very poor. -The seats are of very low quality. - The drainage inside the toilet complex in B Block is not working, thus the audience are forced to walk through dirty water. - Only the seats are new, the gates, steps, etc are very dirty and not at all maintained.

Good seating capacity. A good experience to watch ISL. Different outlets of different cuisine foods which are affordable were available outside the stadium itself. Can reach there by metro, bus or any private transport. Different entry gates for ticket holders are well managed by the coordinators for the amount of crowd expected. Drinking water and snacks are available at the stall inside the stadium seats.

The best place to have morning exercises and the place is known for amazing food spots. This is also a public gym which is available morning. But during monsoon season, the roads are flooded. There is some maintenance required. But still best spot for exercises and workout.

The first and the best national stadium in Kerala! Also known as Kaloor International Stadium and it holds both football and cricket matches. Very near to the metro station and many restaurants and eateries near to the stadium.

The stadium is widely recognized as the Home Ground of Kerala Blasters, and it has gained fame for hosting numerous International Football and Cricket Matches. With a current seating capacity of 39,000, the stadium has the potential to accommodate even larger crowds. While the building and infrastructure are impressive, the maintenance leaves much to be desired. The quality of the seats is notably poor, failing to provide a satisfactory level of comfort for the spectators. Moreover, the drainage system within the toilet complex in B Block is non-functional, resulting in an unpleasant situation where attendees are compelled to navigate through unclean water. Additionally, despite the seats being relatively new, the gates, steps, and other areas of the stadium appear neglected, exhibiting a significant lack of upkeep.

The stadium has played host to a number of international cricket and football matches but after 2014 it didn't hold any cricket match due to ISL. The extensive grounds of the stadium serve as venue for important exhibitions, cinema events and political rallies in the city. The most innovative aspect of the stadium is its unique lighting towers of 2ย kW Floodlights which when switched on fully can provide lighting levels forย HD telecast..

Near to stadium there is plenty of food spots and this is most active food spot in kochi. During night. Great for walks and have open gym. Can also play badminton and outdoor games. Every type of foods are available: street foods, arabic food, momos , teas and many more

The Match experience of Kerala blasters was a whole another level....but if we just talk about the stadium, it's pretty old and it needs renovation. You will find cracks in the walls and seats are all worn out...you have good food options in front of the stadium

As you all know its crazy out there, you cant even here your own voices out there. Incredible fans but the stadium facilities and outer parking facilities, even the checking grounds are worst worst in the world. Not in the world , the facilities out here in the neighborhood grounds are far better. And waters blocked at stairs of gallery. No drinking water facility. Chairs are broken. Nothing is in a neither a good condition not even for just seeing it. Should neet to blast that stadium off and build a new one for sure.

The fortress of Kerala Blasters๐Ÿ’›. Jawaharlal Nehru stadium is one of the best stadiums to watch hero Indian super league. With a capacity over 30k the stadium just looks amazing. Even though the infrastructure of the stadium is really old, one cannot complain when they are attending a kerala blasters home match out there.

I would have given 1 star based on the experience I had while I was there. One and only international stadium in Kerala and it's hard to say but it's condition is so poor. We have so much turf here in Kerala better than this stadium . Zero maintenance led this historical building into a piece of concrete worse than nothing. Regardless of the game we had there that day. It was raining heavily and the roof was leaking like a waterfall. I wonder why the authority is ignoring this condition. Water everywhere on the floor , pillars, roof literally everywhere. It's no wonder that we don't have a football team yet.

The vibe that you get here for a Kerala Blasters home match is just unmatched!!! And I would give 100 stars out of 10 just for the atmosphere!!! But now all I can give is a three because of the lack of amenities available and the conditions of the surrounding areas. If it rains then get ready to battle it out against the mud and slime that would fill the surrounding areas. The entrance and the passage towards the stands are also poorly maintained and filthy. I hope the authorities concerned would look into these matters and help fans provide a stadium with decent amenities.

One of the few stadiums where you can do a full mexican wave! Though the maintenance could have been better, the ambience is extraordinary for popular sports like football and cricket. This is the home ground of ISL team Kerala Blasters.

Manjappada๐Ÿ’› Home ground of Kerala blasters. Must go for a match of Kerala blasters to feel the josh. When you book the ticket, try to book at the eastern side of the stadium to feel it. It's always amazing to see the matches here with all the fans. The best supporting gallery in India for ISL. The maximum capacity of the stadium is 60,000 but limited of 39,000 for ISL, but more crowd can be contained. Undoubtedly, the best stadium in kerala. The stadium is owned by Greater Cochin Development Authority (GCDA).

The game was excellent and a really great experience. It was quite pitiful to discuss the stadium. Water is a vital human necessity, yet the stadium officials' water supply was filthy and unclean, and we were not allowed to bring our own water. Additionally, there was a safety risk. The stadium's roof is in poor shape and has cracks in it. The stadium's seats were damaged. The exterior of the toilet was being swept by toilet water.

Home ground of KBFC. Not in a football stadium in the core. Has a large seating capacity. Finding a parking space on match day is hard. general transportation is good with extended time for the metro.

As we know the front center seats are considered to be the best and also the VIP seats. However, if one is attending a dynamic light and sound show, a little distant seat provides a better & fuller picture frame. So one could choose either a center seat on the ground floor or consider the first two rows of the balcony.โ‚น299: Block B2, Block B3, Block D2, Block D3. โ‚น349: Block C1, Block C2, Block C3. โ‚น399: Block A, Block E, Block F. โ‚น1499: VIP.This stadium contains a wide range of stadiums that are required to hold various events including soccer and several others. The Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi previously organised cricket matches which include the match between India and South Africa and that between India and Australia.Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium was constructed in 1982, in preparation for the Asian Games held in New Delhi. 2. How many spectators can Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium accommodate? The stadium has a seating capacity of approximately 60,000 spectators, making it one of the largest sports arenas in India.

Had a blast . The ambience and fan support for Kerala blasters matches in this stadium is phenomenal. The stadium is well connected by kochi metro and during match nights they operate services till 11.30 pm and also gives discount for tickets to JLN station. Food and beverage are not allowed inside the auditorium and there are no venders for this too. I feel this is a negative point. Aslo better seats can be arranged.

For an international stadium this stadium quality is very bad. If it rains it will leak in all places. Seats quality is also below average quality. So, this is my humble request to GCDA to renovate the stadium.

Home ground of Kerala Blasters, Inside the stadium atmosphere was really awesome,Especially unique design and construction which make more beauty But Current situation of the stadium was very bad 1 Seating chair not cleaned properly,Authority should neat and clean before every Match. 2 After a small rain itself , water is leaking from the roof part and other areas are also dumped with rain water 3 Lots of plastic bags are thrown near to entry gate, No any dustbin seen inside and outside 4 Over all GCDA should take some action to maintain the stadium neat and clean

The stadium had some maintenance needed it was a good experience in a large crowd experiencing an isl opening ceremony the sound system was good and there was a lack of shop for refreshing

  • 4/5 Bipin S. 1 year ago on Google
The stadium is good for the vibe. If you are a Kerala Blasters fan, go watch a match in this stadium. The atmosphere gets electric when Aashan's kids take the turf. The best seats for a football match would be the Byju's block F (2022-23 season), not in the first 4-5 rows - there is chance that you'll get wet if it rains and the view is blocked by the team dug-outs and other equipment in the first few rows. Maintenance of the stadium could be much better and there is the need for a cloak room in the premises as they don't even allow an umbrella inside. If they have one, if needs to be advertised. Parking and getting out will be a pain. Park somewhere else and take the metro.

Went there for KBFC's match and it was a spectacular experience. Although the infrastructure isn't that good as the interior of the stadium will get filled with water if it rains. Proper maintainence is required. The entry to the stadium too is utter bad. Seats need to be maintained well. The pathway which leads to the stadium don't have properly functioning light bulbs too.

The stadium was actually built for cricket but later they were allowed to conduct indian super league football games,at the moment the stadium is home for kerala blasters football club and famous for the fans around Asia. At least once in your life you should watch kerala blasters match at the stadium, the atmosphere was electric and roared till the end,the energy and supporters blow your mind absolutely no doubt.

Well, the review is not about the stadium but a small tea spot which is a must go. It is located in the street food street & named 'Tea Republic'. The ambience with the music over one of the best "black tea's" I have had, just made the day a little more memorable. Again, a must go place for chai lovers
