This is the 2nd time we have visited the hotel. Our initial visit was around 5 years ago, and we had a wonderful experience. We booked the hotel again, expecting the same level of service. Although we faced some unpleasant situations during our first day, when we raised it with the management, they took all corrective measures to ensure that our stay was comfortable for the remaining days. I would like to appreciate the management for acknowledging our concerns and immediately acting upon them and would also like to thank all the staff for their service. I look forward to visiting you again.

Nothing more depressing than getting off work and coming back to a lukewarm shower (can't even take a bath). 5 Stars except for the lukewarm water. *Edit they fixed the hot water*

This hotel is currently considered the best in Kochi. I had the opportunity to stay there for two days recently and have attended several programs at the hotel in the past. I can confidently say that I have never had a bad experience there. The hotel consistently delivers a high standard of service and maintains a reputation for excellence.

We didn’t stay at the hotel this time and were there only for a lunch buffet after a long day. Guess what!!! There isn’t a changing room for babies. We were told to use the couch on level 1. I ended up changing my kid in the bathroom floor. Truly unexpected :( Sorry Marriott, we have always appreciated your hospitality but just not this once.

This hotel though a 5 star is just an average hotel with nothing exceptional. Just too many employees around , but still not much service. Food was good, so kudos to the chef. But the restaurant service was chaos, again too many people but not doing anything attentively. They would take order and forget, so each time I will have to reach out to min 3 servers to get something. Rooms were fine but the view was horrible. Not something you would want to wake up to. Plus this place was too crowded, not a place I would recommend with family. I think lack of training is evident in their approach, maybe a good professional training can fix most of the problem still the back sewage will remain a problem.

I've visited Marriott in multiple cities, and can say with confidence that this is the worst Marriott I've ever visited. Reached hotel at 12:30 in the afternoon, and got the room only at 4:30 PM.. This is despite a checkout time of 11 AM.. Hopeless on how this is managed. In addition, the food is downright bad.. I just don't understand how Marriott has such bad spread, service and taste. Even south Indian food, Kerala food is pretty sad. An absolute waste of money. The only saving grace is that rooms are good, and location is decent, right next to Lulu Mall.

Excellent service. The room had top notch amenities and facilities. Only thing I found strange was the bathroom lacked a towel rod. Breakfast buffet spread was amazing, this is the first time ever I saw energy and calories added to the menu buffet labels.

Stayed for 3 days in this 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ on an official trip and it was remarkable. The rooms were spacious, well maintained with all modern amenities.. The staffs were courteous and well groomed. The room service was prompt and flawless. If you are looking for scrumptious Buffet breakfast in Kochchi go for this place without having a second doubt. The breakfast spread was simply amazing and food quality was of top notch. Window view was Awsome . I would recommend this place for their hospitality 🙂🙂

It was a business stay, being a married loyalist I decided to stay here rather than the actual hotel where the event was. No doubt in the service it was absolutely brilliant and a pleasure. However the food seems to be a bit of the problem and might need improvement. The head of operations, F&B manager, the chefs are extremely open to feedback and will listen to your problems carefully and take actions. Rooms are spacious and modern with excellent amenities.Overall the hospitality will make me come back again.

I felt like giving Three Stars only but changed it to four after i thought about how professional and attentive are the staff over there. They helped us with a problem we had during check in. The main issue for us there was the crowd. There were just too many people that the first remark my wife said on entering there was that the place looked like an Airport lobby. Very beautiful & crowded. I heard another lady from a family who was there in the elevator with us being quite vocal about the crowd and how the staff are having trouble attending to everyone. The room was excellent. Had a great view. It was clean and comfortable. We had Dinner and Breakfast Buffet from there. It was quite good. There was one small issue with regard to the food in the counters, during dinner & breakfast, which i would rather not share here as i communicated the same to the supervisory staff there. And she was very attentive and professional that i feel i better not share the same here on a public platform. It's just that we don't expect something like this in a Five star hotel. One staff who was posted there near the food counter to correct that problem during breakfast service showed that we were not the first ones to notice the same. The staff in Kerala Kitchen were all good. Will visit again in some non Rush hour days i think. When there's no crowd. 😊

We came her for buffet lunch on a Wednesday. The lunch menu was pathetic. There were two chicken variety and one beef. The taste was horrible and worst than a normal hotel. Main course consisted on one variety type. Overall we will expect such a bad variety and poor taste from a star hotel like this where they are charging a good amount for buffet. Please think twice before you go to this place.

The kochi kitchen boufet has a wide variety of food items to choose from. The salads and the desserts are my favourite. The staff is very attentive to your needs and very helpful. Overall a very wonderful dine in experience.

It's a really great hotel compared to other '5 stars' in Kochi that maintains the Marriot prestige. Room - very clean. Comfy bed and a superb rain shower. Food options - we had dinner and breakfast, everything was very tasty and the variety was exceptional. Service - true 5 stars, highest standard from the reception, the pool guy, the waiters and the chefs. I would definitely recommend this property to family and colleagues.

It was extremely poor , staffs were more interested in getting prepared for evening rush rather than catering to the guests present then. It took 2 hours for me to get a cup for coffee and plus there was coconut in my apple pie which was pretty confusing . A couple next to my table was waiting for 2 hours for biriyani to be brought. Restaurant manager as well as the staff was lost and couldn’t even explain the menus well. I sincerely hope changes shall be brought forward soon. And I really wouldn’t suggest this place to anyone.

Rooms were very dusty and unclean for a 5 star hotel, buffet food tasted old and frozen and selection was minimal. Service was prompt and staff were well knowledgable and kind. Location is amazing and views from rooms are great. Gym isn't that big and pool is not cooled properly.

Now, there is a good reason I have given this hotel 3 stars, it certainly has facilities of a 5 star hotel, but to be completely honest the food at the Pool Bar was absolute trash. The rooms are very cozy and comfortable, but this hotel can't handle rush periods very well. We came to stay here during Christmas Eve and when we asked for a extra key card to our room, they took more than a hour, which is a very long time for something as small as a keycard which shouldn't take more than 10 minutes. The food at the hotel can only be described as decent and most of it didn't get proper seasoning. The ambience of the hotel is nice, the rooms are well maintained, but I won't recommend to train your staff better as I felt most of them were very inexperienced or hadn't properly received training to handle certain situations like angry customers and rush hours. I had a bad experience here, but I can't blame the hotel much since COVID-19 could have caused majority of these problems, because I visited this same hotel before COVID, and had a great stay, good customer service and food. I hope they improve their service and food soon, the rooms, like I mentioned before are great and well maintained it's just the human interaction part is not that nice when I compare to other hotels after COVID.

Wonderful hotel with well-trained staff who are not overbearing but who are very friendly, attentive and supportive. Special shout out to Dilsha who delivered a delicious and luscious chocolate cake on my birthday, to Achu for an efficient and polite service during breakfast and the smiley and upbeat buggy driver who took me across to the Lulu mall each day. My third visit now and will not hesitate to stay at the Marriott Kochi again.

Let me start with the good things first. The rooms were very clean and neat. Basic amenities and facilities were met. The location was excellent, close to LuLu shopping mall to which they provided a buggy service if you preferred a transportation instead of walking. That is all I could say about them in all fairness and good. Downsides: 1. Despite sending them emails that we are celebrating our 10th Anniversary and requested them for an early check-in at 2pm, their standard reply was that their standard check in time is at 3pm. Hence we reached the hotel at 3pm to avoid a waiting therein. That is not the worst part. As a welcome gift, they left us 3 small pieced cookies for us (a couple), how was this even thought through? Next time, just leave 2 pieces. 2. There was only one bathroom robe in the room but 2 towels and 2 dental kits. Next time, leave a hammer behind so that a couple could fight for the one bathroom robe. When I mentioned that there was only one bathroom robe in the room, they told me why didnt I call for another one? Next time, if I decide to stay in Kochi Marriott, I shall call the reception and inform them to keep 2 towels, 2 dental kits and 2 pillows also. 3. I ordered for a beer in-room. It was delivered to me, unopened and worst still with no bottle openers offered. This time because I am paying for the beer, I called for a bottle opener which took another 15 mins to arrive. Point to note, bring your own bottle opener if you plan to buy beer from Kochi Marriott. 4. At the buffet breakfast, I wanted a dessert spoon and happened to ask a sous chef for a cake. He brought me a giant sized spatula. I had to rephrase and say please bring me a teaspoon. Marriott Hotel kitchen staff do not know what is a dessert spoon? 5. Their executive lounge was so understocked with just cans of soft drinks and water bottles, and some pathetic chips. I attempted to make an espresso in their coffee machine. Even after making triple shots of the espresso, it was so diluted like an Americano. 6. Their buffet breakfast spread was vast but lacked quality and freshness to the taste. I may be able to better pacify myself with the above shortcomings if it was done in another 3-star or 4-star hotel but surely not with the reputable branding of Marriott Bonvoy. I paid a premium price for such a substandard service quality (let's not talk about excellence herein). It's a shame and pity that my celebration turned out to be a bitter taste in their placement. Maybe another person's experience may differ from mine, but at the least, please expect least from them. If they deliver the baseline, it may be a pleasant surprise unlike in my case. Never returning anymore. Apologies.

The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are clean.. The buffet is varied and delicious.. The hotel is very close to the largest mall in Kochi..... What I did not like was the very careful inspection before entering the hotel and I was prevented from using my iron on the pretext that the electricity might be cut off if I used it! ..The café in the lobby also serves coffee in the same cups that are used for morning breakfast, and the coffee was not delicious and its price was exaggerated for the taste and method of presentation.

I found my entire stay was a thrilling experience born out of professional commitment by each and every staff of the Hotel.. Be it sales & marketing executives like Mr Kamaruddin, Mr Vinod Nair, valet parking and buggie drivers, front desk staff Mr Aatik (speaks three languages fluently), The usherer, the room services boys, the swimming & gym instructord and above all the, rather the best set of catering and restaurant staff like Mr Mahabir. I am thankful to each of them too have made a otherwise body schedule a beautiful mix of fulfillment and good memories of Kochi

We love this hotel so much! It is honestly our favourite hotel that we've ever been to. It feels very luxurious and the facilities are excellent. The buffet available is incredible as well. The staff is very kind and helpful. Special mention to Gayathri who helped us get checked in and was very welcoming. We ended up coming back to Kochi a day early to have an extra night at the Marriott. Highly recommend!

We visited Marriott for a family get together with our 15 days old new born in an assumption that all amenities would be in place... Rather there is no feeding room at all which is the worst part here. We took our new born all the way up to our Guest's room just for feeding.. Management should take this into consideration to handle these basic amenities in future.

I had a business trip and from he moment I stepped in , the experience was awesome. The front desk personnel, Rachel was really helpful . May it be for booking or reaching my stuff to the room or booking a cab back to the airport, the hotel did a great job. I would give all stars for cleanliness, respect for privacy and the promptness of the front desk. The breakfast buffet is vast but because i was on the rush i wouldn't say i got time to enjoy it. Definitely keeping it in my list of repeat stay hotels in cochin.

It’s definitely not a budget hotel but it’s worth the amount spent . Cleanliness, ambiance, food, customer service everything at its best. There is a balance between every cuisines which make it a go to place for everyone. It’s next to lulu mall therefore easy access to the mall with a buggy ride.

We had a bad experience with Marriott Kochi Hotel. For the purpose of conducting an educational fair, we had booked a tent outside the hotel. We have invited delegates from many UK universities for the purpose of interacting with students all over Kerala. The function was supposed to start by 10 am. When we reached the premises, we could see that the place was not cleaned and the seating was also not arranged by the hotel authorities. With the help of our staffs, they have started cleaning the premises and arranged the seating for the delegates as well as for the audience. We had ordered for high tea and buffet for the event. That was also not satisfactory as the staffs were not serving the food properly. Overall, it was an unfortunate experience as it affects our credibility.

Not at all happy with the service provided. It is no where near 5 star rating. Rooms are small and do not have tub options. Had poor experience from front desk. Even from the restaurant certain staff members provide wrong information and give a cool welcome to guests. This leaves a service which is lot more to be desired.

We have stayed 3 different hotels in in this month kochin. Kochi Marriott hotel is far better than all other hotels compare to the service provided from all staffs. Specially I would like to mention anwar from Front Desk served beyond our expectations. He checks on us and arrange everything required during our stay. Hotel is next to the best mall in the town and it’s convenient for shopping and dinning with many options.

There was a constant extremely loud construction noise right above our room . Though we complained several times, they continued to work even at 2AM! We had to wait for 40 minutes for a cup of coffee , and to get the attention of the waiters is impossible! They desperately need an efficient restaurant manager at Kochi Kitchen! The breakfast buffet is a circus! The room is way too crowded! There is variety for the buffet breakfast but the taste of the food is sick! They dont place enough cutlery , sugar sachets or napkins on the table. The staff is either inexperienced, tired or just plain lazy to do much...the service is absolutely pathetic! When I asked for a teaspoon for the coffee, the waiter takes about 10 minutes to bring it( by then the coffee is cold!) and then he places it straight onto the table( not on a saucer!). He did that twice!! DO NOT EVER STAY IN THIS HOTEL! IT IS A WASTE OF ONES MONEY!

We booked staycation package for new years eve which included new year gala party. This was cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions. Aysha and her senior Ankit from reservation tailored our package so that we could enjoy the maximum staying within COVID protocol. Really appreciate the professionalism and hospitality of Aysha and Ankit. Our dinner was at the Pool Bar. Akshay at the pool took very good care of us with his friendly attitude, politeness and hospitality inspite of the rush at the Pool On New Year's Eve. Would definitely recommend. It's one of the luxurious hotels in Kochi, situated at the city center very near to the Lulu Mall. It's a recommended destination to have professional get-together where we can have the meetings in an awesome environment. We usually have our team meetings take places here. We can enjoy the buffet lunch at the ground floor, in a beautiful premises of cool ambience. The buffet lunch is delicious and have a lot of dishes to choose from. A wide variety of salads are available, that are my personal favorite. The staff deals with the guest atmost professionally and are very helpful. They often help us to take the team snap from the hotel premises.

Location and rooms are superb. They were kind enough to extend our checkout by 2 hours. Polite, efficient staff at the main desk. Food is bad. We have been to other Marriott Hotels and 5-star properties. Kochi Marriott has poor standards. They served the same salad and deserts straight from breakfast to dinner. When we pointed it out they said they sometimes need to repeat!!!!! Who repeats mud-pie for all 3 main course. The lunch food is kept for high tea too!!! Even the south indian food was tasteless. Next day breakfast was a repeat too.

II can confidently say that I have never had a bad experience there. The hotel consistently delivers a high standard of service and maintains a reputation for excellence.This hotel is currently considered the best in Kochi. I had the opportunity to stay there for two days recently and have attended several programs at the hotel in the past.

This hotel is very high speed, clean, neat layout, and well-organized. A total contrast to the city of Cochi or Kochi which can have absolutely unbearable & chaotic traffic at times. The employees here are super professional & obsessed with customer service, like you wouldn’t believe. It’s a business hotel, not necessarily a tourist one, by the way. I would have given it a 5 star rating, but one of their staff clarified & assured an issue would be taken care of at a specific time, but it seems his or her colleagues didn’t follow through. I won’t dime them out though because overall it was a great experience & they might get in trouble 🤙🤙💰👍

Compared to western hotels, this hotel meets all standards and expectations. The shower worked very nicely and the breakfast had a very large and adequate selection. The location is excellent and is very close to the LuLu Mall for dining and Metro station. Also not too far from the airport and exploring Kochi or outside destinations.Hotel has excellent hospitality and service. Everyone was very friendly and approachable. All our requests were answered in a timely manner.

Dates of Stay - 31st Dec 2022 and 7th Jan 2023. Nice property, great staff, great location next to Lulu mall. Food was amazing. Though this was just a transit hotel for us - getting in and out of Kochi, we still had a really good and comfortable experience. They did accommodate room service dinner for us as an exception despite the fact that it was 31st Dec as we were travelling with a baby, which is worth mentioning

We had an excellent stay. Very cooperative staff. Although check in time is 3pm, they let us check in by 2. Buffet breakfast was excellent and dinner was splendid too. Rooms were spacious luxurious, neat and clean including bathroom. Swimming pool is huge and nice. Overall stay was very pleasant. Ideal for a staycation.

Kochi Marriott was a wonderful and a pleasant experience. The rooms were very neat and clean. Also staff were great and helpful. My kids like the bed very much and were almost on the bed everytime. Very comfortable and cozy bed. A good place to stay and relax. Will visit again whenever we come back Kochi, Kerala.

The breakfast buffet was also very good. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Kochi.

Ease of booking : 4/5. Fairly straightforward website. Some minor glitches with the website and app but overall it’s not too bad. Staff: 5/5. Courteous and helpful. Check-in: 3/5. Foreign passport holders, please bring your passport AND visa. I had to drive back home to get these before proceeding with checkin. This information was not clear during the welcome email. Housekeeping: 5/5. Great housekeeping staff. They work very hard to keep the rooms very clean. No complaints here. Condition of rooms: 3.5/5. Hardwood floor and cabinets are showing wear and tear. Bathrooms are well kept. Bed (mattress) is a pillow top and the sheets and pillows are comfortable. There are some bulbs out in the bathroom (Rm 2121) and the sheer privacy curtain does not work in Rm2121 but functions ok in Rm2122. Concierge service: 4/5. Sometimes they are hard to get on the phone but if you make contact they are helpful. Breakfast Buffet: 5/5. Excellent food and wonderful waiting staff. Final Thoughts: This hotel in Kochi is located near Lulu mall and provides great value for its price range. While the service level may not match high-end hotels like Waldorf Astoria or Ritz Carlton, the hotel offers a well-balanced combination of cost-effectiveness, quality service, and fantastic dining options. A standard room ranges between $120 and $160, making it an excellent deal. Conveniently located near Kochi Metro, the hotel proves to be in an excellent spot. Overall, highly recommended.

It's a really great hotel compared to other '5 stars' in Kochi that maintains the Marriot prestige. Room -very clean. Comfy bed and a superb rain shower. We had really a great time at the hotel. It's strategically located near lulu mall and they have offers for the mall and a special entrance and a big relief for car parking as the hotel is very near...a perfect stay

Kochi Marriott hotel First a big 👍 Booking this property was not planned but a Last minute option. Our family will always remember this stay for a long time. Front office was courteous and professional. For Booking 2 rooms we received a handful of discount coupons, had actually planned to go to fort town and Marine drive, but spend all time inside the hotel and the Mall. Night dinner had huge spread and was less crowded, sea food choices were so wide , had to send back 2 dishes, Morning breakfast had even more spread, had a decent crowd, the pool just a breathtaking view and cool water for the sultry kochi, Overall we look forward to visit again a special mention on all the courteous staff of the hotel.
