Initially we were given a sub par room,which did not met our expectations on cleanliness and room service. However they were responsible enough to shift us to a much better room once we pointed out the flaws we encountered in the initially allocated room. Breakfast buffet was really good. They made sure to attend each and every table. Will definitely visit again.

Myself and family had a great stay here in December 2023. The food, ambiance, and staff were great. Some problems we faced are 1. The check-in time was 2 pm, and we reached on time, but we got the key for all the rooms by 3- 3:15 only. 2. Additionally, buffet time was busy, which is normal, and the staff struggled to manage, and it took a long time to get some orders. But the staff was so calm and pleasing that we didn’t get irritated. 3. The pool has only two floaters for kids, we waited for a long, and finally, they managed to get a few more. Thanks for that. Apart from all the minor glitches, it was a wonderful stay.

Visited the pool side restaurant at 5 pm . Even after repeated requests to the front desk staff.... and their polite reply that our orders would be taken soon ...there was no service. Left the restaurant at 7 pm and moved to the adjacent TAJ Hotel. Least bothered but they were very polite to hand over my car keys and walk us out of the hotel. Felt like we were greeted by trained robots. Stay away if u value your time

Love visiting. The staff are always warm and cordial. It's an oldish property but clean, reasonably priced (for a 5 star property). They have a nice pool, one restaurant. Everything works. It's on Willingdon island and so may be secluded for some, i like the location.

The experience in this hotel was very poor. The rooms are average , nothing like 5 start hotel. Our bed had a vomiting smell, pretty sure they hadn't changed or washed after previous guest. Room service or the employees there were really helpful and warm. Food: Food was pathetic. The buffet options are very less and whatever they had is tasteless. We expected good food with the kind of charge they take. Facilities: Only a swimming pool, spa and a restaurant available there. The pool doesn't have kid's section , its 4.5 feet depth and pool is comparatively small. There are no space for kids or friends to spend sometime together. There is no place to walk or any children play area. This hotel is just some rooms which are ordinary and unhygienic and with overpriced tasteless food.

During checkin the staff gave us rooms in the smoking floor even though we'd specifically asked for non smoking and traveling with older folks and a child. It took them about an hour to fix this, but they compensated us with free buffet breakfast. The breakfast was amazing! The pool and hotel services were all well maintained. We enjoyed the perks of being very close to mattancherry. It was just 15 mins to drive to all the tourist spots.

This is the worst property you can possibly find. Their service is really bad, the rooms are dirty, bedsheets are torn and cushions stick of sweat. There are ants and cockroaches in the room and in some rooms the ac does not work. This property is just mismanaged. It's a run down property and it's sad that a hotel close to the highway is still being marketed. There is a lift that's functional, no restaurant or business centre. There are no qualified staff, just a bunch of migrant labourers ( not trying to show them down )who knows absolutely nothing in hospitality!!! Enter at your own risk is my conclusion!!

Vishnu did help me with the best possible places in Cochin to gain more knowledge about art and tradition of different different communities of different eras! Got the best suggestions on food from the people of kitchen’ special thanks to Ravi! Housekeeping people did leave me a cute note with two pouches , one for my book and another on for my make up kits. Staying in Cochin has felt warmer because of Trident! Thanks to the team! College friends get together !!!! We were searching for a good resort in Kochi for our get together. We took this resort because photos were good and price was cheap compared to other resorts in Wellington What we liked 1) I reached early, infact 3 hours prior to the check-in time . They gave me a room , without paying a single rupee extra 2) room was clean and well maintained 3)hotel staffs were super cool and down to earth . The way they handled one I'll tempered person was very good. 4) food was super tasty , it was bit expensive. But quality of food was superb 5) swimming pool was well maintained. 6) we made lot of noise in our room . Asked room service to clean food waste several times. They handled it very good ( sorry for the trouble guys ) What I didn't like . Nothing much Final words Best resort in Wellington island. May be in Kochi . It is situated in super location. Would love to visit again

The place is mediocre. They cheated on the final bill. Charged us for food we didn’t order and charged us for phone calls we didn’t make. While I was going over the bill, a guy was standing there and staring me to intimidate me. Look out for staff who want to connive and trick you. Not a safe place, although the food was good.

This is a beautiful property with very friendly staff and all amenities and facilities to make your stay comfortable. The food is very good and the buffet is also good. We ordered Ala carte and the Malabar prawn curry was simply awesome. The breakfast menu was also very good The rooms are standard size and has garden views. It looks and feels like an old time hotel but is a good option for stay. Only issue is there is nothing much on the island and one needs to travel out of the island for everything.

Trident has always lived up to their expectations of a 5 star rated hotel. Stayed here for 4 days and had a good time. Hospitality and Service is top notch. Their pool was under maintenance the day we wanted to take a dip and they transferred us to Taj Malabar 1 km away for a pool and spa. Recommended. 5/5

Although there are a few very small things that you could argue aren’t 5*, you really can’t argue with the price of the hotel. The best part is the overall service experience, everyone works to make you feel at home. The biggest highlight of this hotel is the restaurant, the chefs are incredible!! I have never come across such attentive chefs, they come to guest and check if our meals are ok. Even in the buffet I asked for additional meals they provided. Even the waiters are very attentive. Huge praise to the restaurant staff!! Thank you for making the stay feel special! There were few downs, like room service took time. Overall you get what you pay for. A lot of messages about this been an old hotel, yes, I agree this hotel would need a refurbishing time to come.
