This is my father's ancestral home which is now a museum and office. This place holds a lot of my childhood memories hence its very nostalgic for me whenever I visit here or see photos of this place.

Not opening now. People say materials are moved from here.

Nice place for people with archeological interest. Lots of facts about ancient people and culture. Well maintained.

The works are still in progress. But children got the chance to explained the antique details by experts.

As a student i was very bad in learning history But today when i visited the muziris museum behind my home i was kind of amazed and im so much proud and privilaged that my hometown (pattanam) has a trade history that happend 2000 years ago and the archeological remainings of that trade can still be found here and the archeology team here has gathered some of the reminings like beeds, pots etc in the MUZIRIS museum located here in pattanam.

Well maintained historical museum. Not possible to visit excavation sites. If you are like history & archeology lover this is one of the best place to visit.archeology Dept not given good publicity for this museum. There you can see more than 2000 years before historical belongs.

The Pattanam children's museum is temporarily closed now. Will be open after the renovation works..
