Taste is not that much special, but it's Good enough. Opens in early morning. And the parcel or dine in service is one of the fastest I've ever seen. So quick parcel service, no delays. Parking space available right oposite link road.

2023 UPDATE: Quality of food has gone down after old workers resigned I have been a customer for several years now. The food is good, service is really good and fast. Employees are really courteous. This is the place where you can get the cheapest masala dosa and ghee roast(30&25 as on 2018 Nov). All other things are normally priced. Everything was cooked using firewood earlier. Hence the taste of food was great and unique. Being a hotel with good rush off customers the food is always fresh. You get parvels super quickly

It's a decades old country style tea shop, always heavily crowded due to low price, don't expect high standard facilities. You get parcel in seconds 😊

Tasty food masala dosa and hot vada 😋

A good vegetarian hotel. Dosa, Vada with chutney was very tasty. Also bought packets of Kappa & Chembu Chips which were quite good.

Our usual stop for breakfast on the way to Cochin . Located in North Paravur on a busy road. If you wanna park, take the left road opposite the hotel. They are serving traditional breakfast neatly. Tea is good. My fav is poori baji. Highly recommended for breakfast. Never had any other meal from there. Will add photos next time

Hotel Venkitachala Bhavan is a Complete Vegetarian Restaurant located at North Paravur near National Highway. It's an age old restaurant, remembers the vintage times. I had dosa and vada from there. It was available even at that lunch time, however not that much fresh as we get in morning times. The dosa, chutney, vada and sambar was good and affordable. The tea was also good. Parking is not at all available as it is situated very much close to main road.

The dishes were not only decent, but also quite economical, making it a great value for money. The service was also very good, with the staff being attentive and courteous. Although the building was old and there was no parking space available, I personally liked the charm and character that the place exuded. It added to the overall ambiance and made for a unique dining experience. Overall, if you don't mind the parking challenges and an outdated building, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit for its good food and service. And if you appreciate a bit of history and character, you'll love the atmosphere too.
