This place has the best rating and for the right reasons. We went here for lunch. Ordered one veg korma and fish mango curry with appams and velapottu. The food was just awesome! Authentic, delicious and good portion size. Prices are very reasonable. Must visit! They have parking also inside

The atmosphere at the restaurant is derived from the sea and its breeze . Seating arrangements are fairly ok . The service and hospitality is golden , the owner itself was our host ( as far as i understood) he was extremely pleasant and obliging . What disappointed me was the overall taste of the food . Crunch squid and prawns tawa was excellent and tasty ,but small as far as the portion was concerned . The fish , crabs etc were extremely fresh but under marinated. Karimeen kandari was an utter disappointment and bland . Might go back to try some other dish another time , but the place certainly is not value for money ,of u consider the taste of food as your priority.

Best seashore restaurant in Cherai beach. They are well known for sea foods. Must try - Black pomfret tawa fry, prawns tawa fry with sezuvan chicken fried rice. Prices are bit high but it’s good for taste and quality they have provided! MUST RECOMMENDED

An average restaurant, serving limited menu. There are very limited restaurants at cherai serve breakfast but lilliput is the best in serving a full time cuisine. Open kitchen provide confidence to the guest. They have only a limited area for the restaurant but they keep clean and do their best to provide better service to the customers.

Amazing restaurant with hygienic delicious food at a reasonable cost. We loved the tandoori chicken and garlic crab plate. The seafood fried rice and Oreo milkshake was good too. We plan to visit this restaurant every meal during our beach stay since it is so close and we trust the food will not make us sick. The staff is friendly and helped organize a rickshaw to our hotel. One of the best restaurant in Cherai beach to have food. Excellent food, Excellent taste, Excellent ambience. We went to have dinner. We had prawns 🍤, Fish 🐠 in the dinner. They cooked both the items properly. This restaurant is budget friendly as compare to other big restaurants which cost more with less taste. Whenever you are in Cherai beach, you should try their food at least once. They have different bread options like Roti, Naan, Kerala parotha, etc. Kerala Parotha was too soft and it was tasty to eat. Best try is Tawa Fish and Tawa prawns. Service is excellent and restaurant is hygienic.

This is a wonderful restaurant for family, groups nd couples. It is always very very good when ever you go. Service has always been friendly even though the service is a bit slow and the fresh quality of food is a constant. We tried the sea food platter,it was yummy yummy!!!

Decent food in Cherai. We did not dine in, but ordered food when we stayed at a homestay nearby. Prompt response and tasty food. They delivered all our requirements. Would also say the food was very fresh and good value for the money.

Had been to Lilliput restaurant at Cherai beach for lunch and this was our first visit to this eatery. We ordered Appam ,fish molly, crab roast, squid butter garlic fry, Kerala parotta and veg mappas at the suggestion of the staff. The food was awesome... Appam was like home made ones.... crab roast and Fish Mollie were very tasty... The staff was courteous and the service was good...also everything on the menu was reasonably priced. would definitely love to visit the place again.

Not at all good …. Very less quantity & high price is the biggest issue. We were a pack of 6….We ordered dragon chicken & dragoon beef and it was very hard to find chicken & beef in it and both looked same with lot of vegetables… (uploaded the pic of the dish all these things you see in it are just veggies but nothing else) We also ordered chicken 65 but it was not cooked properly Service was also not so good and the serving time is too high and you will get these items one after another only…. A must visit spot on the cherai beach stretch. Brilliant seafood. We had the seafood platter that has 1500rs worth of prawns, squid, karimeen (fish), crabs, shell fish ( kaka erachi). Brilliant ambiance also that goes very well with the food.

This place is a heaven for seafood lovers❤️ on our first visit we had seafood platter! It was such a treat!! And on the second visit we had prawns kanthari , squid butter garlic , karimeen pollichatu and 2 types of fish curry!! It was too good 😍 definitely going back to this place !!

One of the best restaurant in cherai beach area with a very ambient atmosphere and lots of dishes to choose from. Very humble and polite people working there. A small opinion - plz dont mix southern flavour ( like curry leaves) in north indian dishes or indo Chinese dishes.

Situated right opposite Cherai Beach. We order the sea food platter which was delicious. It costed around Rs 3500/-. Which is reasonable according to the quantity and quality. Atmosphere is quite normal since its a open restaurant. Service was pleasant with friendly staffs. Overall we had a great experience in terms of food quality. Fresh fish was served. Would recommend to try it out.

Food is so so so amazing!! So is the service, I mean they prepared everything fresh and within 20 mins time...U will not regret going here..I tried chicken kanthari (tasty dish with a spicy afterburn), duck mappas curry (really good even if u are not a fan of duck meat), fish coconut milk curry (traditional touch which loved with appan & rice puttu)....I had garlic butter prawns fry & squid masala fry also which were too great of a starter that I finished eating it and realised I forgot to take pics... I also ordered chicken fried rice and was really surprised that it tasted so authentic.. Only thing that bothered me was that there is no Air conditioner but it's a really open & airy space. It is lil difficult if it's a humid day, so I advice to try the place when it's a cool day and if it's humid try to make it just before dusk.

Sea foods are good . Even though menu looks bit expensive but tasty. Especially kozhuva peera - One of my favorite in town. That's the one which i usually tries with them.

Lilliput Restaurant,cherai. We had been visited there few times before and their food is absolutely delicious! Especially their Malai Kebab and Fish fingers are our personal favorites. Malai Kebab is a must try! The owner Varghese chettan is very kind and friendly person. Always recommend... I think the best in Vypin 😊

May be I choose wrong menus. Seafood fried rice was cood and only taste chemical seasoning. Squid ring fry was tasty but very small.. I paid 600 Rs for these menus and my stomach was filled but heart was empty. And they are very busy for catering service even tabels full of customer. I have to wait over 20min for just lunch only me.

The best restaurant in cherai. We went there with family and ordered a seafood platter with almost 10 to 12 varieties of delicious mouthwatering dishes. Everything tastes like out of the world even the fish curry served with meals was unique and delicious

Really good ambience Naymeen pollichathu (Tuna), koonthal roast (squid), chemeen fry (prawns) and porotta Tuna was the only dish that didn't impress. Squid and prawns were cooked really well, mango cuts brought in a sour taste which was really delightful to the neutral flavour. The quantity is really huge, any one dish is enough for two people. Price too was on the higher side

One of the best seafood restaurants available on the Cherai beach side. Service is very polite and they tend to our needs with respect. Menu is good and pricing is also very average for a tourist spot. All seafood items are fresh and tasty. A must go one if you are near the Cherai beach area. Honey glazed cauliflower was too good and the vegetable and coconut gravy is ultimate. Parking is also available.

But be ready to wait for longer duration on any order. Quality is not consistent. While quality of some food varieties are good, quality of some others like fried fish items are mediocre.

It’s a good restaurant with good ambience of Cherai beach.it wasn’t so busy as we expected which was good.we ordered fish polichathu,fish mango curry ,appam and seafood fried rice.all dishes were good,appam was so soft.only negative I can say is that in seafood fried didn’t have seafood as the name suggests. Otherwise overall food and ambience is great We can try once 😊

When waiting for my parcel order my cousin tried to use washroom. But on entering, one of the manager informed that the washroom is only for the people who is eating food from this restaurant. What a manners !! I don't know the name of the manager but it was a very bad experience. Never ever go there.

Food here is ok. Nothing great. However it is quite eatable without being extra ordinary. We had beef fry, puttu, tawa fish fry, prawns fried kerala style and some plain daal chawa and sabji. The prawns were quite good and the beef fry , though a bit too dry, was tasty. Puttu was good and so were daal, chawal and alu gobhi. We did not like the fish though. It was not fried well and was quite smelly. May be we are not used to it All in all decent restaurant to have food once in a while.

Dont know if this was related to any local holiday or they were just grossly unprepared for the weekend. To make customers wait for 2 hours for parcel is absolutely unacceptable. Just waiting we saw more than half the patrons get frustrated, many with kids. Istead of believing the manager, look into their kitchen. If they have only 4 people in there then move onto another restaurant.

This is one of the busiest restaurants in Cherai. Food is tasty and well presented but the service is pathetic. Nobody is there to take your order on time. And you won't get your food on time. There is an ice-cream shop attached to it (Gulliver's cafe). Compared to other restaurants nearby this is pretty decent and offers a good variety of chinese, Indian and continental dishes.

Every single dish is unique , different and tastes absolutely amazing. The owner Mr Varghese is a person passionate about food and that definitely shows in the food quality and their menu. For people travelling in huge groups do try their seafood platter which is humongous and totally worth it. My personal favorites are their kanthari chicken, kanthari prawns and batter fried squid. Even thinking of the food we had from here makes me want to visit them every week and have food from here. The Must visit restaurant in cherai.
