Edit: A friend misplaced an umbrella in the restaurant. When we went back to get it the management demanded a fee to look for it, stating inconvenience on their part. Never got back the umbrella. Terrible customer service !!

This vegetarian restaurant is located at prime location (Bank Junction). Tried food many times here during breakfast, lunch and dinner... Meals available here only during lunch.. Masala dosa, chapathi with kadala curry, payasam and meals are good here... Always crowded during lunch time. Service is okay and fast.

Deceptively good, would be the simplest explanation for this restaurant. They are located a bit inside the junction, with access via 2 routes. Park your vehicle in the nearby pay and park and go to the restaurant. The main dishes I saw people ordering were the Masala dosa and dosa, along with vada. Since there's already raving reviews regarding the Masala dosa, I thought I would go for the adventurous journey of the taste buds with an Oothappam and a Batoora. And it was definitely not disappointing, with a well made oothappam and a large enough Batoora with curry. The coffee was a bit let down, but good enough for a bru coffee, as I prefer Filter coffee or decoction coffee. The tea was up to the mark and the service was also OK with a bit elderly person serving us, and we definitely don't expect a whole meet and greet in such a busy restaurant. He explained to us about the wait time and the recommended foods too, so not a bad service too, making the lack of smile excusable. All in all a good experience.

Do not visit this Restaurant. They don't serve any thing with Ghee. So no Ghee Roast Dosa. I ordered normal Dosa made with some normal oil. Chutney is hopeless. Hotel ambience and approach road not upto the mark. Only coffee is hot and slightly better.

Old traditional style restaurant in Aluva. You get traditional Kerala and South Indian breakfast and snack items. Sometimes I feel they are overrated. It gets crowded during peak hours. They have started new items like Chana Batura which is a must try. Their Vada is the crispiest and the best in Aluva. It is charged only 10/- and is served with Chutney. Lack of proper parking space, insufficient seating and lack of card payment is the only con.

The nostalgia of young times when I ised to frequent annapoorna with my father. Paripuvada, meals, battura, dosa items. All excellent as usual. Coffee is among the best in town

If you want to have a good lunch in Aluva, there is no good hotel to mention. Annapurna is a famous vegetarian hotel. The rice and curry were already prepared on the plate so the rice was less hot.

I recently visited Annapoorna Hotel and trying out the Chapathi and kurma. The food was good and the price was quite reasonable. The inside of the hotel had a pleasant atmosphere, but the outside was quite congested and the access to it was a bit difficult. Overall, I had a good experience.

Masala Dosa is very tasty. Morning Vada is very crispy as well. Annapurna has been a staple of Aluva for many years and will continue to be so if they keep doing what they're doing.

The only thing they lack is a parking space..else everything is good. It's an old Vegetarian hotel in the middle of Aluva city. I tried many times and they don't have many options, but what they serve is having decent quality. if you come by car, you need to find a place for parking, that is the only issue as I observed.

Devine food pure veg vadas are must try but they miss the old zing they have when I had gone there in my childhood.they have few north indian item on evening also check it out . Also ask waiter to provide the chutney that they provide with Vada when take parcel because it's tasitesr than the one that give while dining in

we had the breakfast there.masala dosha and chapathi . the way through this shop is very narrow and felt like unsafe...it is a very very old narrow passage..but the shop provide good service... special area for family is available ( small area)...food , the service also is very good..as we were with our baby, while we felt difficulty in taking our babies bottle from our bag while having food, the waiter over there , without any second thought, having a smile , he helped opening the zip of the bag...that was an unforgettable memory....such a kind hearted person he was...his face seems always smiling and our brkfst too make us happy...

I had a vegetarian meal there for Rs.60 which included rice with two vegetable dishes, coconut chutney, pickle pappadum and sambhar. The food was not bad but could be better. You will have to share tables with others and have to pick up your banana leaf in which you had your meal and throw it in the garbage bin. The servers and the dining hall are not the most hygienic but that's what you get for the price. The place is kind of popular with the locals.

But because of my hunger i forgiven it . as it is in a narrow path you can't park your cars here .only limited parking was available for two-wheeler . I just love this place, if you want to have a decent pocket friendly and homely meal in the Aluva town, this is the best option. It was a hangout place during the college days and even after seven years it's really amazing that they haven't increased the price of the meals. 50 for meals and 60 for special meals. Recently I took masala dosa from here and it costed just 50. I would say the quantity and quality was worth the money spent. The coconut chutney was too good. You can't take your car there and only limited parking was available for two-wheelers before and it felt good to see they have made some arrangements for more two-wheeler parking. If you come in the peak hours there's definitely a wait. They support digital payment but not sure if they accept cards

Second worst experience. 20 minutes to come and attend the customer and take order and 30 minutes to serve the 4 biryani that after my daughter called the order takers to remain. It's on yesterday 25th Sunday at 14 45 hrs and not crowded. Biryani was too cold and it's not a standard of MRA. Same happened before also and this time we experienced more than worst experience.
