Vastly spacious, well kept and swift service. The food is of good quality and tastes quite okay for what it is. I had their Mini Tiffin - which was actually good. The Kesari with pineapple was a taster. The coffee was strong and goes well. The menu is priced reasonably. Plus, you have ample parking space upfront, a novelty seldom restaurants, let alone the very few no of pure veg restaurants in the locality, can offer.

Disheartened to say that Chennai Ananda Bhavan has lost all his values as well as the great taste they had for years. Their breach at Kakkanad needs immediate improvements in various aspects. Need to pay attention in cleanliness of the restaurant and the utensils. When we’re got into the restaurant there was foul smell inside the hall. Then we could find stains and left over food particles in some utensils like pickle container. Sad to say that the they have lost their classic taste of their pure vegetarian meals. Expect a swift return to their old golden days.

Very tasty food but noisy and need to wait to get chair. Menu card is just for name coze all the dishes in the menu are not available. Poorly managed space. Supervisors are rude but other staffs are nice. They should work on the interior space to accommodate more people. Otherwise I would give 4 star

Good ambience. Parking available. AC restaurant. Good service too. Most of the dishes taste good. Out of what I have tasted, the chaat items were not that good. The pav bhaji didnt taste that good. Bhelpuri was average. I would not recommend having veg hakka noodles as it is full of vegetables and less noodles. But the naan is amazing!! Would recommend the schezwan friedrice, chilly paneer, chilly gobi(dry) and the north indian thali is delicious!

I just had a very unpleasant experience with the restaurant. I was there for breakfast and it was just three of us , no other customers...I'm mentioning it because the "No Attention" we got from the staff was not because of any crowd. I asked for some hot water to drink and the answer was They Have No Hot water in that entire restaurant. The order we placed was 2 masala dosa and an Uthappam with coffee...They food came cold , the Vada they served wasthe coldest vada I have ever had. Once the meal was served ,nobody cared to ask us if we wanted any refills or anything else. I usually don't write bad reviews but this place looks pretty decent with very bad service....The appearance could be treacherous... hence the review. Thank you.

Good place for having a veg bite, foods served in bronze utensils. Was not crowded, wheel chair accessibility. Staff was friendly.

Inside the a/c hall and around the tables there were sufficient smart house flies flying freely.Often customers have to drive them away using their hands.Ordered for Masal dosai but the item was exhausted by that time (11am). Got onion oothappam, onion roast , ghee roast etc. They are not serving mixed vegetables oothappam. All items we received were good except that no vegetable pieces were there in the sambar. I am regretted to say that the services of the waiting staff were poor. One of us got additional chutney only after repeated requests and waiting for a long time.Anyway Goodluck.

One of the best pure veg eat out in this area. Food was very good, both South Indian and north india option available here. Chat items are good , we order bhel puri it was awesome. Nice ambience and variety of sweet options also available in this place. Best place to visit with family and friends.

The restaurant is neat and tidy. But the service and food taste needs improvement. The restaurant is pure vegetarian. Manchow soup was bad. On starters Baby corn golden fry was good. Traditional south indian items should be a good bet like Dosa, Idli, Oothappam, etc. Chilly Parotta was not spicy at all and rather had sweet sauce :( The service needs to be improved. They do not know what is available in kitchen when the waiter takes the order. Bill will be given before some items are even delivered. Given that this stretch has time tested restaurants, this restaurant is over priced for the taste and service and needs to improve by leaps.

Previously the place was Mamma Mia. Now the food court has been converted to Ananda Bhavan. There is plenty of seating and the tables are not cramped together. Tried the masala dosa , it was tasty. Service was satisfactory.

Very delicious food, nicely served in traditional way. Ample parking space. Although crowded in side the restaurant, might be visited during peak hours.

Food was pretty bad for the name they have put. Price is too costly for the quality they provided. Utter disappointment.

Spacious restaurant, amble car parking, adjacent to road, easily accessible. Went there for breakfast. The name itself was the driving factor for me, but to be frank was disappointed by the food. Food tastes average and the price is high too. Can find better vegetarian hotels nearby that are less costly.

Food quality was average. Wait time was too long. Even though the google photo shows lunch/meals is availble but what you get is fried rice+ biryani. Only veg is served. Cost is too high. Veg fried rice cost approx Rs 180+GST. Curry as such paneer masala costs Rs 200. Its on expensive side I would say. We paid approx Rs 620 for two people. Food quality could be improved

We went there today morning. Because of this covid situation only dosa items were provided. Had masala dosa and ghee roast. Was good. Nothing much great about it.
