One of the oldest pure veg restaurants I know. I used to go there eating my fav south India food (they have North Indian cuisine as well) long back as a child. They still hold the same charm for the veg lovers. The restaurant is mostly busy, they also give parcels.

Absolutely horrible dine-in car service. I am an extremely patient person and this place made me lose my temper. They forgot our order for 45min and upon reminding them they behaved as if we never placed an order. I don’t rant without proper evidently horrible service. I know it’s a Covid 19 pandemic and they are running crazy with overwhelming orders but if they can’t handle it they should not take our order at the first place. Thank you for your kind service despite being a loyal customer. Shall not visit again.

Nice ambience.. Crowded, but still it's not so difficult to get a seat... The inner atmosphere is really soothing because of the lighting provided.. There is a slight delay in the deliver of food ordered (not too long)... Staff approach is polite... Bottled water is provided. On demand, they will get you hot water as well.. Food is served in banana leaf inside a thali... Tea and coffe are sreved in the steel tumbler and a small container.. Food quality is good... Tea time snacks are also available.. Rates are also nominal... Ample parking lots and a wide entrance to the restaurant gives it a classy look... A visit to this place is suggested..

Nice hotel near highway itself. Food is so yummy here and very good service too. Ample parking available too with security to support. Ambience and facilities too are very good. AC and non AC options available. Place is neat and well maintained too.. recommend this to others

Very Good vegetarian restaurant. Staff were very courteous and helpful. Try their Paneer starters. It was very good. The veg noodles were very spicy. Make sure to tell them make it less spicy if you are ordering for your kids.

Pure vegetarian joint. Spacious and airy. Spread out seating arrangement. There is both an open air dining hall and also a air conditioned hall. It is crowded on weekends. Prompt service. Food is fresh and tasty. Spice may be a bit of concern in certain dishes, so check with the waiter before ordering. Great for a quick bite. The fiter coffee was strong and good.

Happened to order a ghee roast and coffee from here and it was really nice and even the staff behaviour was also nice... Well maintained and clean hotel with ample space inside and also for parking...

They are completely down on quality now. It was good before (the photos are from previous visit, when they had many servers and good food). I think the chef and management has changed. Upon ordering fried rice, we got some soggy tasteless rice after 30 minutes. 🤷 The vada and snacks quality is also low now. Been to other locations of Gokul Ottupura before. Amazing veg food always but the experience here was a lil disappointing. . The food was just okay. Hotel is spacious with ample car parking space. Not organized when it comes to handling orders. They forgot an item. It was crowded too, maybe just a bad day. Hopefully they do better.

Beautiful vegetarian restaurant with plenty of safe guided parking facilities. EV charging facilities available. Service personnel indicated that these dishes are currently available and there is no point in navigating the entire menu, which is the wonderful experience. Severed the Paneer dosa with one tomato chutney and sambar. Thanks to the staff for not providing the rotten coconut chutney. The paneer becomes rancid and spoiled state. Please advise staff not to touch food when placing the table. Since your food can be the most hygienic, but it can be contaminated due to improper handling.

We got poli from here on Thursday Night and as soon as we came home and opened the packet it had black spots on it. Clearly indicating it was some old stock and all the fungi has already started eating the food. The package was given in a white envelope to hide the fact that decayed food is sold. Very bad experience. Selling old and poor quality food is not acceptable. I have attached the photos of the item. Who is going to compensate for this? This item is sold at higher price. And we are ready to pay for good quality products not for old stock and poor quality products.

One of the recommendable Vegetarian restaurants in Kochi or Ernakulam. Everything is fresh and tasty. Nice ambiance. Filter coffee and Cutlet and kothu porotta is really good. They also have fresh juice and shakes.

Well established Vegetarian restaurant sporting a rustic vintage South Indian theme but sadly lacks a shift in better aesthetics & ambience provided. Trust me the food taste & quality covers the other shortcomings of this restaurant. The incredible taste of food served will bring anybody back craving for more to this restaurant. Dishes Ordered : Malai Kofta & Aloo Gobi Masala with Rotis To add on to plus points is; spacious interiors and the ample & more parking space available. The wash rooms are pretty much to par in terms of cleanliness. Overall this restaurant falls on my highly recommended list to be tried out if you are in for Authentic Vegetarian South Indian food.

Visited to Gokul Oottupura just after the pandemic. Extremely well maintained and neat. Loved the service. Peri peri Idly is a must a try. The authenticity of the dishes needs to be highlighted.

Nice ambience and good food. The ghee roast was crispy and yum. But the uzhunne vada was not upto the mark. Pazhampori, coffee and tea was good. The waiters didn't have much idea about the order and served us something we didn't order at first. Later, they corrected it though. Overall, a nice place to spend time with your family

I tried few items from the period of 2 days. For dinner i tried their paneer gravy and roty. It was bad. Next day morning i tried their masala podi dosa that was good.

Great place to have some scrumptious vegetarian breakfast. This is the place to go if you want to have some piping hot dosas and crispy vadas with a delicious cup of coffee. The thing I liked most about the place is that they serve the food on a banana leaf. There is ample seating and parking space. Payments can be done with cash, card and gpay. Highly recommended!

One of the safest place to go if you are a dosa lover. They serve hygienic food with good quantity and a above average taste. We tried their podi masala dosa, podi gee roast and vada. Ambience is worth visiting. They have a traditional old house vibe with warm lighting.

Food is average, service is a horror story. We reached the place around 3PM. We expected meals should have been finished, so no problem there. We sat down at a table and ordered Porotta and curry. The table wasn’t cleaned. It had remains of rice and used paper napkins on it. Nobody cleaned it even after taking the order. Our order was served on the same uncleaned table; there was a pretty long delay to serve the food though. It doesn’t end there. We had the food and asked for the bill. The waiter printed the bill with a mistake in the number of items, and acted like it was my mistake when asked about it. This used to be a much nicer place, but not anymore!

I recently dined at Gokul Oottupura, and while the ambience was average, the food left a lasting impression. They seemed to aim for a rustic South Indian vintage theme, but I believe it could have been executed more effectively. However, the real star of the show was the food. I simply adored their Podi Masala Dosa. The dosa itself was flawlessly crispy, leaving me craving for more with every bite. The masala filling was equally delightful. Its flavors were well-balanced and satisfying. Despite the ambience not being top-notch, the incredible taste of the food will undoubtedly bring me back for more. I'm already excited to explore the rest of their menu on my next visit.

Tried this restaurant after hearing reviews. Lives up to the hype. Had the South Indian Lunch. Good food, great taste. Service deserves more than 5 stars. Very thoughtful towards children and special needs. Not happy with the washroom facilities, though. Needs some attention. But apart from that, excellent food and service.

A nice vegetarian restaurant for South Indian dishes. There is a TV display that keeps looping the cooking videos of their popular dishes, this is a great idea to grab customer attention and serves as a visual menu. This place gets best busy in peak hours and not a good choice if you will need a seat to meet and chat for a long duration. The rest room and hand wash area are adjacent and the wash area is always wet and crowded. Have been visiting this place frequently, they can definitely do a better job with the wash area.

Well known for pure vegetarian restaurant. Inside is spacious but interior needs improvement. Taste is average.. Veg lollipop was very salty that we could not eat. There is vaaaast parking space. The wash room is neat and clean.

I had the pleasure of dining iin Gokul Oottupura at the NH Bypass, Padivattom, Edappally outlet, and it's undoubtedly one of the finest vegetarian restaurants I've visited. I've been there four times, and each visit has maintained consistently high-quality food. The ample parking space is a great convenience, and the staff's coordination and customer service are commendable. I particularly enjoyed their Paper Roast, a generous and well-presented jumbo lengthi dosa. Their regular Masala dosa and podi masala dosa are also delicious options.

We had podi idilly fry, peri peri Idilly fry, pav bhaji, pani puri. My suggestion will be don’t go for the chat items I personally didn’t like the taste of bhaji and pani puri. But both idilly dish were 10/10.

Car dining has began and must say they have improved their service and food immensely. Very attentive service and food is delicious too.

One of the best vegetarian restaurant around Kochi and I could say this without doubt from my experience since 2008. The dosa items (masala dosa, rava roast and ghee roast) , uzhunnu vada and poori are my favorites. The taste is the same across all of their outlets. The Palarivattom restaurant has ample parking space but the kadavantra and panampilly outlets don't have parking space. Even if ordering through zomato or Swiggy, their packing is very good. Accepts all mode of payment.

22/09/2021 wednesday...3.30 pm.....Waited here half an hour.....service persons are flied here near to me also..but they are not interested to take orders..after half an hour I had connected with the manager via phone, he said sorry also. After this incident one nice guy came to me and took my order. It was a horrible experience ever. Very bad customer service.... ambience and arrangements are very good....but service very very very poor in kerala.

Terrible service, okayish food. Outdoor dining was fine. Nobody even gave us water without asking for it. One good thing was that they didn't provide glasses to drink I'm not sure that's the practice there...

Pretty good vegetarian restaurant in kochi with clean and good service. Dosas are my favourites but have tried most of their dishes from other outlets earlier. Pricing can be better as a suggestion. This one is the newest in their outlets.

The food is great! But the Service is pathetic! From the way they handle customers to get a free seat to ensuring all the ordered items are put to the table, the service was unbelievably poor! We end up arguing with them to get the items we have ordered! Definitely that's lack of managerial skills on the floor! But to be frank, their food taste so good that we feel okay in the end event though we get frustrated with the service! Ambience is good and have enough space for car parking! Management need to pay more attention towards hygiene and ensuring better service to customers!

One of the best vegetarian restaurant in Ernakulam as they offers wide verities of delesious food items. We will be extremely satisfied with thier traditional taste and dishes. Payasam is ultimate with its uniqueness. They offers ample parking space which is also a strong reason to chose this restaurant regularly.

Went there with friends after a long time. The service was nice. Food care was quite some variety available. My person favourite was the bullet mini idly. The combination of the sambar and idly was perfect. So was the ghee rice and paneer butter masala. All together had a good time and enjoyed my meal.

Highlights - Great Parking, Clean, Airy & Spacious, Good staff, Good food. The food is quite good and easy on the stomach, they do provide extra servings of meals n dishes (I didn't have it though). Taste wise it's not exemplary but it's decent like an everyday meal option.

The worst hotel after covid. It was good earlier. But now a days very ugly and very poor service. My wife who has diabetes was waiting in counter after payment.she was tired and requested at the counter. But no response. We also saw many people shouting at the counter complaining about the poor service. This is a rare experience for me .

Car parking available in front of the hotel, extra parking available beside the hotel. Good service, most of the dishes are affordable price. Ice cream, Lassi felt bit over priced. This time we decided to have our dinner from Gokul Oottupura instead of Lulu food court to have Vegeterian food. And our decision was not bad. We ordered Schezwan Fried Rice, Vegetable fried rice, Chilly Gopi dry and Gulab Lassi. Taste was good, but could have been more better. Good Ambience too. There is a lot of parking space here.

Such a cozy and fine dining pure vegetarian restaurant alongside the NH bypass. This place has a lot of offer in terms of the variety of veggie dishes, service quality and a huuuge parking lot. We started off with the Bhel Puri which was excellent. Later came the Tandoori Rotis, Dal Tadka, Mushroom Chilly Fry and Mushroom Pepper Masala. Tandoori Rotis were not so worth a mention, but the Mushroom Chilly Fry literally was too mind blowing. Pepper Masala and Tadka were just good. Service was quick enough and the space is well maintained. Well lit and feels so hygienic. Prices are too at very good VFM. I'm pretty sure about going to this restro more often.
