So I came here in the morning to have a breakfast and start off the day on a good note. However, the food, sad to say, was terrible and made half-heartedly. Normally, I never complain about food, but to eat something while I was ravenously hungry and still not find it tasty takes some real effort. Even though it was the beginning of the day, the chutney was so watered down and the Dosa so damp unlike the one that I enjoyed years ago when Pai Dosa had one branch at MG road and their reputation was well deserving of the food they made. Quality of food is terrible for the price we pay. You can checkout the menu which I've posted here. At this price, they should be giving better food. And for a place that offers dine-in facility during a pandemic, their safety regulations are not fool proof. There's no sanitizer diapenser - there's a water dispenser and soap at the entrance and washing hands is voluntary. There's no one to take customer's temperature or write down their whereabouts. For a restaurant that is situated just 350 metres from Sparx3D, it is a pity that they don't have a Sparx3D automatic sanitizer diapenser here.

Egg dosa is nice but noticed its not a crispy dosa, too much ghee and oil is added in dosa. A paneer dosa also I ordered but it’s totally waste of money Overall a normal dosa shop, this shop is not good for dosa lover

Not good, dosa wasn't that crispy. Sambar tasted bad with raw coriander smell and taste, chutney wasnt solid and full of water. It was over priced, as expensive as Brindavan but not even half tasty as B. Won't recommend going there again.

Worst experience ever. We tried top items like Sambhavam, salt and pepper, egg onion, egg tomato masala. All dishes were horrible. Dosa was not cooked properly and all combinations were horrible. How come dosa itself became not properly cooked as we were able to taste the row batter in dosa. All 4 out of 4 verity of dosa was not properly cooked. Its your responsibility to ensure product quality, dont blame customer why are you not complaining to the waiter. We had even seen other customers were leving desk without finishing it.

Not upto the expectations. Bought pai spl dosa and the masala was not all tasty and it cost Rs 170. Sambar is definitely good and tasty. Tried Sambar Vada and it's good and that cost Rs 25 per piece

I had the pleasure of sampling the quail egg dosas seasoned with pepper, and I must say, they were a true delight for the taste buds. The flavors melded harmoniously, resulting in a delectable culinary experience. It is worth noting that the majority of dosa offerings at this establishment incorporate eggs, elevating their taste and adding to their overall appeal. The inclusion of eggs enhances the texture and flavor profiles, resulting in a satisfying dining experience. The menu boasts an extensive range of dosa varieties, ensuring that there is something to suit every palate. However, do keep in mind that the parking space in front of the establishment tends to fill up quickly due to its popularity. Planning accordingly and arriving early can help ensure a hassle-free experience. While the dosas here are undeniably delicious, it is important to be aware that the pricing reflects the quality and variety offered. The rates may be relatively high compared to other establishments, so it is advisable to plan your visit accordingly and be prepared for the associated costs.

Good Atmosphere and excellent service. The ambiance is quite lovely and primarily crowded. Parking is a little hectic when there are too many customers; there are only slots for 4-5 cars for parking. The food I tried was butter masala and coffee. Butter masala was average in terms of the taste-to-price ratio. The coffee was excellent. The butter content was too much, and the masala taste was less. The price of butter masala is 90 Rs, and coffee is 25 Rs. Overall verdict: You can try if you are a dosa fan. Because a lot of variety of dosa can be found here.

Food tastes good but if you take a piece of dosa and squeeze it you will get around 3 to 5 ml of oil from it.

The food is value for money, as the dishes are priced reasonably. However, I ordered a Lasooni Egg Tomato Dosa and felt it was average on taste. The quantity is good and it's definitely quite filling. The service is fast, and you wont have to wait for long. The ambiance is average, although I felt they could do better with overall hygiene (as there were an used tissue under my table and the wash basins did not seem quite clean either). The bottle in which I was served lime juice was quite sticky on the outside as if the juice had spilled on its sides earlier. However, considering the overall affordability of the restaurant, I don't mind eating out from here once in a while.

Varieties of Dosa available at this joint. If you are a Dosa lover must visit and try, especially the Egg dosas. Good service. Newly opened at Sahodaran Ayyappan road near Elamkulam junction, next to Little Flower Church. Good amount of parking area available. Price is slightly above the average.

Such a disgrace to the brand "Pai Dosa". We were excited to visit the place knowing well about their main outlet in MG road. To our utter disappointment this outlet at Elamkulam is really saddening. The food is super average, the staff not so courteous and ambience just Ok. Trust this review will make the management have a closer look at the operations. I wouldn`t recommend any one to visit the outlet at Elamkulam.

The number of options you can get here is more than any other restaurants around .. If you love to try something recommend this place , you may like it For me Comparing with other vegetarian hotels like Vrindavan it's bit pricy and didnt felt the food as good as I expected

  • 4/5 Arun R P. 1 year ago on Google
This is outlet is very close to Elamkulam Church. The taste of the dosas are very similar to the ones we get from the MG Road outlet. There is not much parking space in front of the shop; others can park cars on the side of the road. The ambiance is good and the service is very quick. You must try the Kanchipuram dosas and the Thattil Kutty dosa. I also like the mini masala dosa here. Now it looks a bit more expensive than earlier however the taste of the food is really good.

An old Kochi-based establishment, started back in 1987, the place still provides good variety dosas with decent prices. Good taste, ample parking and seating facilities. Ordered a podi egg dosa, and for the price, it is very filling. One of these is more than enough to fill your stomach. They offer a pickle as well with the dosa, which personally I am not a huge fan of. However, it depends on your taste. Price - 110 rupees

Visited pai dosa today. We had egg masala dosa, masala paneer dosa and plain roast. Egg onion dosa and paneer dosa are average and plain roast is good. Egg masala dosa is like masala wrapped in omlet. Quantity is enough for one person. Taste is average only when compare with other dosa varieties available in kochi βββπŸ™‚πŸ™‚πŸ™‚ Masala paneer dosa is filled with thick and spicy masala. Taste is average only.⭐⭐⭐ Normal plane roast is a decent one. ββββπŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€ Overall...average only ( 3/5) Limited parking space,. Good service. Restaurant is 2 floor, ambience is also good. Hygiene- clean, especially at wash area. Hand wash bottles are kept.. Price is at slightly higher side for the items ordered, especially for paneer dosa.

Dosas not upto the mark. Ordered paneer masala dosa for Rs.140/- (GST extra) but I feel that its not worth it. Earlier when I visited their outlet near MG road, it was much better.

The ambience is normal, but the taste of the dhosa was good. We ordered Mirch-Paneer Dhosa and Egg Sandwitch Dhosa. The first one was really good but very costly. The second one was average in taste. One more thing I have noticed that the price what they are charging in bill is higher than what is written in the menu card. Price level is quite high and not really matching with the taste.

This Pai dosa was better than the Pai dosa on Padma Junction. Service in terms was really better!! Ordered Paneer dosa, Onion Egg dosa and lime juice. Paneer dosa was really good! However the onion egg dosa was let down as the batter inside the thick layers wasn't cooked through enough! It was just edible however. Lime juice here is pre-made earlier that day or yesterday and kept in the fridge, served straight to you, so that's why you'll get that bit of sour taste in it. However, the service was super kind, The waiter checked on us multiple times to ask how things were and to fill our chutney and sambhar slots. Their kitchen is open so you can see what's happening inside. We sat downstairs and it was good enough. They do have a floor above which is air conditioned.

Utterly flop both chocolate cashew dosa and 5in one dosa which I ordered. 5 in one was not cooked properly. Suggestion is not to go for variety, which spoil the taste of dosa. try simple masala dosa, plain dosa, ghee roast.

I recently visited Pai Dosa and my overall experience was average. The service was okay and the taste of the food was also just okay. While there was nothing particularly outstanding about my visit, there was also nothing that stood out as particularly negative. If you're in the area and looking for a quick meal, Pai Dosa is worth a try. However, don't expect anything exceptional in terms of service or taste.

The good old Pai Thattu kada has grown into multiple outlets with better ambience to serve a wide range of audience. The taste of their original outlet is still my favourite though. There are multiple varieties of dosa options which are veg or with egg. They have chicken egg, duck egg and quail egg dosas and omelettes. My favourite is quail egg. Some dosas are really heavy and will be filling. The prices are reasonable and service is good.

Decent food. Have some verieties of dosa. Worth a try. 10-15 minutes wait time. Price is on the higher side. Parking space only has room for 4 cars. But as no one is there to guide u for the parking mostly 3 cars will only fit. Near to the road. Tried rava kesari also was a good try. Tried sal and pepper dosa and SI bharathan dosa. Botj was good.

I had recently visited pai dosa shop . Entrance ambience was too good . As a food lover I was curious to try dosa varieties. Dosa 's are just average and I couldn't found any extra ordinary in it. I expect more tasty Dosa's but it was just an average... The main problem I felt was dosa wasn't even cook properly . I ordered kanjipuram dosa and thattilkutti dosa and tea. Both dosas were not completely cooked . The service was too good .

Good. Have various types of dosa. But the bad thing is, the rate is little high and not all the types are good. We ordered,. 4 varieties of dosa. But the one, Sababam dosa only was good. Other threes are not up to mark. Try SAMBABAM dosa.

5 star for the food, one doesn't care much about the ambience... Freshly made hot dosas of umpteen varieties served with chutney sambar and pickle.... Tastes awesome...crispy dosas.. it was crowded, so we ordered take aways, but later decided to eat in the car. They gave us the plates to our car.there is one outdoor table but no one seemed to use it. 4-5 cars can park outside. People doesn't seem to sit long,. Have food n then leave.

Went to Pai dosa around 7:40 pm on 2nd Oct, with great expectations of eating variety of non-vegetarian dosas. However, before entering the restaurant itself we were quite disappointed to see that there was no one to do the required Covid checks / enquiries at the entrance. Next when we saw the menu, we did not see the usual non-vegetarian dishes, just permutation & combinations of of eggs with onions, tomatoes & potatoes with coriander leaves and chillies. Finally ordered the Paneer dosa, special egg dosa and the podi dosa. Podi dosa was as expected, not very spicy and with the right quantity of podi. The special egg dosa was also ok, nothing special to write about. However, the Paneer dosa was very disappointing. We ordered Paneer masala dosa which sounds like paneer masala curry inside a dosa, however, what we got was masala dosa with shavings of paneer and potatoes.

Ya 36 pai dosha is a variety shop situated in Elamkulam they have 170 more dosha variety they started as thattukada in few years before now they have 3 huge outlets in kochi😍

The USP is the variety of dosas. You'll be spoilt for choice. The everything from the usual ghee dosa, masala dosa, uttappam etc to fusion dosas like cheese dosa, many kinds of egg dosas and such. I'll highly recommend this place to dosa lovers. PS: there's parking available in front of the shop. Which even though can only handle 3-4 cars considering the hotel's location, is something good

We had one kada egg roast dosa and casew roast dosa, and its really really pathetic. We expected a lot about pai dosa "bcz of the name" but we are disappointed about these 2 varieties. It doest worth the price Kada egg dosa: i think they put 3 or 4 three rupeese kada egg and some dosa batter, for these they are charging 130 rs!!!! Same about the cashew dosa also. Anyway the tea is quite good? Recommended as tea shop

Pros: 1. The place ok is hygeine wise 2. The number of dosa options are overwhelming 3. The food tasted good Cons: The ambience is more like a dhaba, not that I mind it but was expecting a different experience. Could be a personal choice.

Had to wait for some time to get my order, even though kitchen was running full speed. They are concentrating on online orders, ignoring dine in customers. The taste of the dosa was not that special. My neighborhood hotel makes better dosas. Pai Dosa is just over hyped.

Food is really good and tasty. Waiting time is okay. Parking is minimal I think. We had only the traditional masala dosa which was really good and more than enough to satisfy the hunger. Pricing is moderate. Quality and service is good.

Taste is not that much good. We order maysor masala dosa it's taste not like Mysore masala add to much coconut chutney in it. We order 4in one dosa in that to much egg it was not that much good . Sambar n chutney also not that much good it's average only but still I told depends upon taste of people we don't like that much but but some people like it means not worst but paper masala dosa is over cooked we don't like actually

  • 3/5 Seena S. 2 years ago on Google
There are 200+plus varieties of dosa. But better not not to order the ones costs more than 150 Rs. Because though they have beautiful names like SI bharathan, Kanjipuram an all, it tastes very bad. They put excess of everything(vegetables and eggs). But Podi dosa, kutty dosa, egg dosa, Podi egg dosa, and plain dosas are very tasty.
