One of the best places in Thrissur for vegan food. You will get all types of South and North Indian food along with chinese and continental food - all pure veg. There is a parking lot, usually there is crowd for lunch and weekends. Chats are incredibly delicious. Price is a bit on higher end, still you can get assured quality and clean dining space.

This place is near Daya hospital. Easily visible while driving. i came here with my family for a vegetarian lunch. I'm a pure nonvegetarian & I love my meats- I rarely eat from pure veg restaurants but this place blew my mind. Food was so tasty that it made me forget meat n fish in general. loved the decor,seating n everything. genuinely polite staff & food is moderately priced too. We had onion soup & mushroom soup- i loved both. We had garlic naan with malai paneer kofta curry- yum yum yum. the curry is not at all spicy & is mildly sweet- i loved it. We also had Kashmiri pulao with pepper mushroom & gobi manchurian.. loved all 3 especially the gobi dish- it was yum yumm yummm. We also ordered one meal- it comes with 8-9 side dishes, sambhar, pappadam & payasam including curd n rasam- a no nonsense standard veg meals. I'll definetly visit this place for lunch next time i'm in thrissur & I suggest this place to everybody who wants to take their family to a hotel other than Akshaya,Poonkunnam😅

The food was just average. Service was kind of ok. Main issue is cleanliness. The staffs were not wearing hair nets. There were lot of flies around. The green chili sauce on our table was kept open without lid. There were no drinks not even lime juice. Have to improve their staff's professionalism. One time visit only.

The overall experience was really poor.we ordered masala dosa which was soo bad in taste ,not hot and was so thick and salty.even after complaining and replacing the dosa it was not hot and the dosa was a little better. The butter naan and garlic naan was nice and the aloo Gopi masala was tasty too. But the wheat tandoori porata was just okay. The paneer butter masala was really bad.. Before 1 year when we visited the food and service was nice but now both the food and service was really disappointing. Even after complaining about the food the response from their side was not impressive.

One of the best vegetarian restaurant in thrissur. Aloo paratha tasted good.Shahi paneer is a must try for paneer enthusiasts. It was pretty crowded during dinner time hence waiting time was there.

They provide authentic vegetarian dishes and we're good in quality and quantity. Tried their Thai fried rice and Schezwan fried rice. The former was good and tasty but the later was average. Their butter Nan and paneer butter masala was very good and succulent. The restaurant was always crowded but easily accessible and better car parking facilities are there. The staff were very hospitable. It's almost budget friendly.

We recently dined at Madurai vegetarian restaurant, and I must say the food was delish! I couldn't get enough of the flavors. However, I visited on a weekend, and the service was a bit slow due to the crowd. Thankfully, we gave it another shot the next day, and the service was much improved. I'd recommend trying their delicious dishes, just maybe avoid the weekend rush if you're in a hurry. We tried chili gobi dry which was our favorite, gobi Manchurian, Nan, and paneer biryani on the first day. The paneer biryani rice was cooked to perfection but lacked the usual biryani flavors. The next day we had chole bhature and filter coffee which was good.

Just visited when on the way somewhere far. Was attracted by its wide variety of items on menu and internet reviews. I am absolutely a fan now. Had a Kerala meals, north indian meals, masala papad. Both meals were hot, fresh and tasty. However the masala papad was disappointing, it had a wet topping which made the papad soggy and was extremely spicy with gracious amounts of chilly powder. We had to just keep it away and didn't eat it But north indian meals made up for this. It has the following - soup - roasted papad - laccha paratha - veg pulav - gobi manchurian - paneer butter masala - Mixed veg - daal - salad - raita - sheera Priced at around 200+ Was tasty and wholesome Kerala meals is 130 and had all the standard items with an ari payasam. Both were good. Ample parking. Near peringaav junction.

Very accessible by the side of road joint in Thrissur nearby engineering college and ashwini jn. Has a good vegetarian menu. I found they serve quick and efficient. The food was warm and tasty and usually the portions are large, they advised accordingly when we ordered take away for family. Thumbs up for that customer orientation. Also, the tea was amazing! There is parking inside the restaurant compound, my rough guess being about 15 cars at a time could fit in. Two wheeler parking is also adjacent. Could improve the lights though, at some corners the lighting is uneven.

Extremely pathetic experience!! Ordered Ghee upma from madurai through swiggy and found an insect in it while eating. Highly disappointed!! Will never recommend this restaurant to anyone! Poor Hygiene!!!

A bit crowded.The food is also not worth the rates you have to pay. But the tea kada or the snacks counter is quite good. The seating arrangement is also not comfortable at all.

Really unhappy with the service at Madurai restaurant. Whatever we ordered came really late including the parcel and bill and when we expressed the same the response was even worse. The guy whom we talked to said that they were understaffed and this is what we can do. An arrogant 'take it or leave it' reply. Will definitely think twice before going back to the restaurant thanks to that reply.

Madurai Vegetarian serves authentic Indian cuisine. The restaurant is spacious and clean. The menu offers a variety of dishes. The food is fresh and flavorful, and the portions are generous. Madurai Vegetarian is a perfect place to enjoy a satisfying meal with family or friends. There is Queue system during rush hours. Update 1 : Visited for Breakfast and it was yummy, gee podi roast was top notch. Uttappam and Masala dosa was also very good, portion size was also good.

The place tends to get busy during weekends but the food is worth the wait. The aloo starter portions here are huge and can serve up to 6 people.

Went for Breakfast on with family two weeks back (Saturday) , It was not crowded when we entered the place but people were coming in. Waited for 15 minutes for someone to come to your table and take the order, ordered Idly , Ghee roast and Masala dosa for 3 people, when checked for the food after another 15 minutes,we were told that it will take another 10 minutes for the food to be served. We had no other choice than leaving the place as we had already spent almost half an hour for a simple breakfast and they still needed 10 more minutes to serve the order

North Indian dishes like pav bhaji and Vada pav available. Pav Bhaji is great , Vada pav can get better. Ambience is nice and service is prompt

One of the better vegetarian restaurants in Thrissur. Good ambience, quick service and spacious with decent amount of parking. Definite pit stop for pure vegetarians. Lowered my rating because dosa ended up being too roasted and the flour had not set properly. Could have been better. I have visited some 4-5 times. May be it is because of the rush, the place seemed a bit worn down esp rest rooms.

The Name shows its South indian but the crew all kerala and North indians... We went afternoon 3clk they said already finish South indian Thali. We ordered North indian Thali and Garlic Naan and Allu Parota. Food was nice we don't have any complaints about that. The hotel ambiance was good.. We feel price also not so expensive. I ordered Butter Masala Dosa and Channa Battura. Whereas Butter Masala Dosa lacks Butter itself and they charge Rs 100 for such a Dosa, it is not at all acceptable. And the Masala is not a great one. When Sambar was horrible Chutney tasted good. Channa Battura is just OK. But the price is again Rs 100. Onion provided with it was not sufficient. And they provided some pickle with that. Not their preparation it seems. May be purchased from the local market. For such a price it is not a best buy. And Taxes are extra But I recommend their Masala Tea and Filter Coffee outside the restaurant. It's in Tea Kadai. It's really tasty. And you have a good parking space inside. Ambience is good. Taste may be different from person to person. It's not my taste. But pricing is on a higher side

Filter coffee was better than expected, but not as bitter as you get it in Chennai. The sweet and spicy taste of samosa chat was well balanced, but it was disproportionate, too much chana and barely any samosa crust, they also did add pomegranate which you don't get elsewhere. Efficient service and value for money👍🏼

The food is above average. Thats the only positive thing about this restaurant. The staff here is uncourteous and they keep some kind of superior attitude while dealing with the customers. They don’t treat all customers in the same way. They will treat you depending on your attire, your sex, the car in which you came and the number of people in the group. This attitude exists with many of the vegetarian restaurants in this town and I don’t know why. If they can improve the customer care, its well and good. But, I wont recommend it to anyone with self respect.

Clean , decent taste and efficient service is the key to the take away counter ( only been in take away place ). Local snack is the bright spot , but some north Indian snack too. The tea has a good consistant taste.

The ambience and food is best in town. There have been days where we had to wait outside for a table due to weekend rush. This is one of our favourite family eat out spot. The options available in the menu makes each visit interesting despite being pure vegetarian. Overall good, may be not the best.

The hotel is located close to Daya Hospital. I've tried their North Indian dishes once for lunch and it was good. This time I'd come here for breakfast. Idly vada is just average. The sambar was quite watery this time and did not taste really great. The poori masala was awesome and the coffee was really great. I feel the North Indian dishes are really good as I think the chef is a north Indian. There is ample parking space here.
