We booked a day package for family get together. We had booked for 23 people at INR 1200 per head which is much higher than other resorts in the same place (we got rates of 700 and 800 also in the same location ), the main reason we took here is they told there is additional activities (1. their own private beach - which really is not there it is directly sea with no beach, 2. Pedal boat service, which they confirmed 3 times and even one day before we went but just to inform us on the day we arrived it is out of service (and from what I understood its out of service for ages) 3. One complimentary room if number more than 20 and 2 rooms if more than 50 which they outright rejected and told they never claimed it. For all this the best part is they tell you in face no boat service, a room without ac or even fan (the hall they arranged) will be provided, one coffee room with a broken ac and one somewhat working ac is what we had, best part is there will be no discount and the prices are fixed even-though they don’t care about service or what they claimed. Shower near pool is broken, changing room near pool doesn’t even have lights in it. Only good part is a reasonable pool and decent buffet (definitely not worth the 1200). Watchman was the only genuine person. The man in the reception doesn’t even care except to collect the money from you. Overall the experience was worst and I strongly recommend not to book this for day package. We paid everything and did not make any protest just not to spoil our family get together mood.

Good place to visit with family and friends good view of back waters and easy accessible to beach too food is nice. It has swimming pool and especially for kids they have small one in that portion very pleasant resort. About the rooms are very hygienic and they are cleaning in an Good manner for every interval. Price is bit expensive but much recommend place🤩🤩

Very poor service. Manager poor communication skills. Not responsive. Karimeen could cost Rs.500 to Rs.600/- for their ambience. But they charged us Rs.1200/-… they are not Taj or any 5 star chain of hotels… when we give a comment about the cost, he does not answer to us and shows his back & runs into a room. Went to sealagoon for a short vacation. Amazing place with a beautiful view, beach on one side and backwaters on the other. One star less because the rooms could have been a neater.

Very nice hotel with pretty good restaurant. It is little slow in service but it tastes good. Nice backwater connected to hotel and an infinity swimming pool. 🏊‍♂️ Hotel has good lawn and pool for kids and adults. It has private lawn and beach to roam around, do yoga and take snaps.

We had a family get together of 50 people and the service was very very good! Great view to back waters and across the road from the beach. The beach is a rock wall - so you will have to walk a few hundred meters to get to the actual beach. The food was very good! The swimming pool could have been cleaner - too murky and too much chlorine. The rooms were clean and simple.

Rooms were not maintained well and do not give you that comfort which you expect looking at reviews on web. Location is good very near to cherai beach and somewhat lively. Hotel is stunning from outside. We can enjoy good captures. Food was average. Breakfast buffet was not that good.

A good resort to hang out with friends or family. Spacious and clean rooms. Food is good but costly, if buffet costs 650 per person. Beach is across the road but just 2 mins walk. Parking is limited to around 10 cars, if busy season need to park outside the resort facility. Views are excellent. There isn't much area around the resort, if you are coming with kids doesn't have kids play area.

Place is ok I guess. View from the pool is amazing. Not really maintained. Breakfast was a disaster along with the attitude of the staffs. Whenever we called reception, no one picked up the call while we were their.

It was a family visit to this place. The resort is nice with nice big rooms. Location is amazing as the resort has back waters on one side and Arabian sea on the other side. But, the highlight is the service, amazing service right from the receptionist Ashok, Niraj from Restaurant amazingly good guy helped us a lot specially for our baby food which was customised. Waiter Kunal serving with a lovely smile. Would strongly recommend this place because of the service. Good Job and Thanks Team Sea Lagoon!!!

The location is amazing and the resorts looks really good in photos but it's not maintained. Place has lot of potential but sadly can't recommend. For 7k u can get better options. Tip : get the room at the end with the huge window facing the backwaters

This resort is excellent for a stay. It's in a great spot, right between the peaceful backwaters and the beautiful beach in Cherai. We had a fantastic time in the infinity pool, and the rooms were great with all the amenities you'd expect from a four-star place. They even have electronic lockers for your stuff. The balconies have a lovely view of the pool and the backwaters. 🏞️ Inside the resort, you'll find a nice coffee shop, a restaurant, and a bar. You absolutely must check out Samudra, the private beach – it's incredibly peaceful and beautiful🌅 They include a free breakfast with your booking, and there are more than 10 items to choose from. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, but the only downside was that they took a long time to bring us our food, and the prices were a bit high.👎 If we ever get the chance to visit Kerala again, we would definitely plan to stay here.🤟👌

The worst place to choose if you want to have a peaceful stay. The people ( starting from the caretaker to the manager/owner) is very unprofessional and shows very poor attitude to the guests. Please note this is after they charge a very huge amount.

We went as a group of 12 & hospitality of resort was really very poor, food quality/quantity was too bad. Even the rooms are not maintained properly..pool was good except few tiles are broken as many can get hurted due to this. No proper vanity kits are provided in rooms. Especially breakfast was not good at all…only 2 items provided as complimentary…really not worth for money

The stay was ok, but food was pathetic. They charged around 8000rs per night but not worth it. Please look for better options. Beach and lagoon was scenic area. No value for money. We stayed for 1 night on 11 Sep 2021.

Amazing experience, manager Ravishanka and Nitisha we’re very professional and all kitchen staff were very polite. 1 - Rooms were very nice and clean. 2 - Pool was clean 3 - Dinner was good could be better. 4 - Breakfast was very good. Fishery area need some more attention. It was not clean and it need some major attention.

I went by the make my trip and Google rating to book this resort for 2 nights. It said 4 star hotel and 4+ rating on both websites. But it is not at all worthy of 4 star status. Hotel was poorly maintained. Rooms had a weird old smell. Chipped wooden chairs by the pool, and the people were very loud and disruptive. Breakfast was very ordinary for the money we paid per night. Not at all worth it. I would call this a 1 or 2 star hotel with max worth of ₹3500 per night. Not a rupee more. Total waste of money and we left early to experience cochin better.

Hidden jem, Cherai beach is one of the best beach in Cochin and the resort located infond of the beach. I really loved the view from our room , looking in to infinity pool and backwater. The food is delicious, especially seafood, fresh and yummy. Great service . Little disappointed bz the resort is not fully operational after the covid . Definitely coming back .

The location is good. We few ladies hand gone for a day trip, the service was very bad, the room was smelling of moulds. The food was pathetic, the fried rice didn't taste like one at all. The coffee was dark as wood and was spoilt too . For the money we paid it was a very disappointing experience.

Booked a stay for three persons at this resort, but the room provided for three was a cramped one. Not worth the price we were charged. Poorly maintained restaurants, rooms, and pool, and with no extra amenities or activities for the charge. Nothing here is maintained. The breakfast buffet was also a big disappointment. I visited this resort with my family. This property was overrated, This property was under maintenance they should have shut down during repair because rooms have painted smell and not clean . We are totally dissatisfied with the cleanliness of this resort. Rooms were not clean, food was average and service was average. Not recommended for the family and couples.

Worst resort which I have never stayed before at all. Booked a Premium room, but the rooms and services are not even worth , If we complain to manager there wil be no proper response and he shows his arrogance towards customers. No maintenance and room is not that clean and smelly . The only good about this place is that it's close to the beach. The service and maintenance sucks. Worst place i have stayed so far. Unclean sheets and pillow covers, the resort doesn't even give you food or plates atleast even if you order from outside. There are no hot water, kettle or anything in the room. The building and construction is good, request to the owner is to please maintain the place properly and provide good service. Then you might make very good profit

About the pool tho, I think there's too much chlorine, I was there for alot of time yesterday- my hands and legs were completely wrinkled and my leg is still wrinkled till now XD Now about the staff They were very kind! I got an ayurvadic treatment and it was AWESOME!! The staff were AWESOME at their job!! The check in was easy and checkout was joyful. I really didn't wanna leave- its too good! Now here's some things you can do to make the hotel EVEN BETTERR!! -add a lil less chlorine to the pool -there's alot of sand near the edges of the pool's very shallow side, might wanna clean that up -give the staff a treat! Or even a raise in salary but just give them something good! They deserve it <3 And that's all! I wonder if they even read this till this long-XD anyways, baii! -Akriti

Resort is not well maintained including bathrooms, swimming pool. I could hear rats or some other animal running on the roof of my room during the night and we could not sleep properly. The location of the resort is great. Morning breakfast had limited options. Not worth for the money I paid.

We stayed in sea lagoon health resort for diwali. Its a really good place and its location is great. Pool experience is good. All the rooms are similar in size. There are no two different sized rooms. So if u r planning to book select the room with low cost. Breakfast taste was good but a little costly. We opted for buffet since we have a kid. Restaurants menu list is limited. Management can add more baby friendly food items like idly and normal steamed rice. Otherwise i really enjoyed the place. Its the best resort in that locality.

If you are looking for one good stay near Cherai it’s good option . We went there with our 15 months old .they have swimming pool which is baby friendly. From Less than 1 feet to 5 feet . Near by beach . Food , water activities is very near Neptune and Indira water activities you can try .they have food services but pricey and less menu in buffet.so you can try the ones which is outside (Lilliput) which is suggested by everyone around there and good too . Rooms are clean , services are good . Staffs are very professional and easy to communicate also .

The cost per night is 7.5k The roof was leaking yellow running water during the rainy day , the bathroom was old, the roof was peeling and the paints maintained not so great. The smell was weird in the room if you keep it closed for a while. The buffet breakfast was minimal. The parking lot is small.

Good place for vacation with family. Kids can enjoy the beach as well as pool and backwaters view. Food is very good. Very courteous staff. Only the food preparation is slow so one should order one hour before their dinner time.

Traveled with family on a weekend and I'm very impressed with the Hospitality and service provided by the staffs at the resort. The rooms were spacious and clean, the entire property was very well maintained. Would definitely suggest this property for travelers planning to visit Cherai as a family.

We visited this property on 27TH October 2022, If you are expected like five start properties than it fails to fulfill your expectations. Hygiene is not up to mark. Fail in cleanliness and rooms are too small compare to other properties. Food is Ok.

It's a good resort with a private beach. Building and interior are having a traditional kind of construction. Pool is awesome. Space is very less so not suitable for a group of people.

STAY AWAY!! I stayed in this place for two nights with my family and it was a nightmare. Even the basic amenities were not working like, 0% Hygiene - see the photos (full of rubbish and waste dumped just opposite the room) Toilets didn't have functioning lights or exhaust, The rooms AC vents were dripping off water, The room had a bit of a weird smell I don't know how it's even rated as a 4 star hotel.A normal hotel will be much better than this. If you are a pet lover, you'll be accompanied by lizards, cockroaches and you'll be guaranteed disappointment

I went there to spend my weekend. I guess the place is reopening after a long lockdown. I was charged 7000bucks, which was not at all worth. I agree they must be dealing with a lot after reopening after such a long time, but coming on my part, the services were not even worth 3000bucks. The rooms had smell of damp everywhere, the pool was not clean, there were lots of insects, mosquitoes and rodents. I wish they came fully fledged sooner. The resort ambience is pretty good enough, but the service and staff and terrible.

The stay was above average, as the maintenance especially within rooms can be surely improved. I was told because of the pandemic they are running short on staffs. Breakfast was below average as there were very limited items, the area of private beach clearly isn't well maintained. The biggest plus point has to be The pool which is adequate and was being cleaned every morning

Location of resort is very nice. It offers sea on one side and backwater on the other side. You have to cross a narrow service road to access sea. Pool is a bit of disappointment, water causes eye burn. Rooms and furniture are old, they need renovation. Cost of the stay does not justify quality of rooms and you are paying only for the view and location. Breakfast spread is good and has good options. Menu items are limited but are tasty and a bit pricey. Service is a bit slow. Overall a good experience and could have been better with better infrastructure.

We had a wonderful stay for one night at Sea Lagoon. The children had a great time in the infinity pool which is so well maintained and clean. The view over the backwaters and watching the sunset on their private beach was just spectacular. The staff was extremely courteous right from the front office.. the security .. the restaurant staff and the bellboys . The food was amazing. Great experience and would definitely go back for more!

A nice hotel, but just like other big resorts in this area it need a loads of maintenance to recapture it's glory. The rooms are nice and have some good view towards the pool. Pools looks beautiful. Don't go by the photos. It doesn't look this way in real. Exterior of the resort needs a lot of maintenance.

I'm giving five stars though I know there are areas of improvement. After a long period of suffering due to Covid related guest shortage and staff crunch, those areas not to be seriously looked into. Hope to see Sea Lagoon back in business with lot more perfection. Love to visit you guys again 👍

Clean grounds, nice landscaping, very helpful, friendly and responsive staff. Breakfast dining was very good. I couldn't get the wifi to work for me, and the hot water for the shower was only warm but overall I recommend it.

We came here with two families very recently. The property is well maintained. I personally find this place safe with a nice back water view..

The rooms are a tad bit aged, but still kept very clean and the staff were also very helpful and patient with us during our stay. Honestly looking forward to visiting again. Side note, the pool is exquisite along with the views you're offered from the pool.

One of the best properties in Cherai. Seems a bit old. Though satisfied with the stay. Since I have stayed in 1-2 resorts in Cherai I would rank 36 Palms on top. If this resort seems to be in your budget, not a bad deal at all.

The Resort ambience is good with a lake view. But the resort should be properly maintained. We found it as a Difficulty. The property maintenance is not well maintained. rest all are fine.

Very bad experience for our family .. There head of front office was rude to us he don't know how to contact with guest and we booked a extra bed in our two rooms and the bed was on the floor very bad thing they let us to sleep two of us in floor... And electricity was going 4 ,5 times.. Food was not bad and restaurant staffs was good... And they let there other guest to dry there clothes outside the there rooms which was very bad experience by smell... Recommend you not to book through phone calls.
