One of old and famous vegetarian hotel near K Town area. Pure veg hotel. Siruated near to thiruvanjikulam temple (100 MTR distance). Those who visit temple can easly have food from there. Parking space available for all kind of vehicles . This makes it special as it is well away from town's crowded busy area . Taste : 3.9*/5* Coffee was one of highlight Quandity: 4.2*/5* Quality: 4.2*/5* Prize : Affordable for all.. You can buy their special sweets and chips they makes using pure khee and all. These sweets are also must try items .

Small vegetarian hotel near old highway and in front of temple. They make nice Vada and dosa. It doesn't seem to be a good restaurant but it is much much better than many other "good looking " ones. I would strongly recommend this place for some one drives to cochin from guruvayoor side.

This place is having the best masala dosa in Kodungallur. The area is neat and clean but a little bit congested. It's always crowded there. I'm going here for the first time with my friend. A friend who works in Kodungallur would catch a bus here for lunch daily. Anyway, I liked the taste of this place for the first time. Another highlight is that the price is low. There is no card payment here. Similarly, there is no other online payment.

Excellent food and hygienic place. The hotel is busy from morning till night. But the food tastes better and the quality is amazing. The serving need to improve. Any pure vegetarian travelling to thrissur can depend on this hotel for food for all times. Its a well maintained hotel despite the crowd..We tasted appam, idiyappam, coffee and masala dosa, onion rost...Still the taste is lingering in our minds.

I won't suggest this hotel anymore as one of the best veg hotel in Kodungallur. Older days kailasam hotel was so good and offers tasty food. But nowadays the the quality of the food has been reduced especially their masaladosa and inside of the hotel was spread with houseflies and also not much hygienic. We have to wait a long time for waiter to get take our orders.

The hotel is good. Food is good . Enough parking space. But the issue was delay in getting the food. It took god damn 15-20 minutes to get a cup of tea

Traditional classic restaurant with a authentic rural touch. Amazing food and very courteous staff. Super fast service. And fresh food. And best addition to the service is water with Daha shamani added to it. really helps you in cooling your thirst in humid coastal temperature of Kerala.

Good food..It's a 'Nadan' hotel. People prefer the Puttu and Kolli (Tapioca) curry as a special dish here. Enough parking near the shop.

Normal Medium Kerala hotel, which serves vegetarian dishes. Located near Thiruvanjikkulam temple Kodungallur on Old National highway 66. Food is not so delicious, normal taste only. Price is less compared to other hotels. Cleanliness and Service is Just Okay.

This was our first visit to the place after having darshan at Kodungallur temple. This restaurant is located 2km from Kodungallur temple and straight opposite to thiruvanchikulam mahadeva temple. We went around 20:30 hrs and the tables were full. All tables have stools and no chairs. The ambience will look bit old l. We got a table inside a small room where our orders are below 1. Plain roast: very big and good taste. Costed just rs.40 2. Ghee Roast: excellent taste and big size (Rs.50) 3. Fried Rice : very well made and flavours were mild and soothing (Rs.90) 4. Paneer Masala Dosa: the dosa was good and the masala inside was very good with tiny pieces of Paneer and onion (Rs .100) 5. mushroom pepper fry: delicious and went very well with fried rice (Rs.110) Overall I recommend this restaurant for excellent taste, pure vegetarian options and very pocket friendly

Its a pure veg hotel near to thiruvanjikulam mahadeva temple.Highly Recommended hotel for veg dishes. I recently tried Muhroom biriyani and paneer biriysni from here and that was tasty with affodable price range Dont expect too much for seating facility and good look, its a village type hotel with hygiene.

We were a bunch of super hungry travellers going from Athirapilli falls to Vypin and desperately searching for a Vegetarian restaurant. That's how we landed up at Kailasam hotel and boy were we glad!!! Excellent meals and such wonderful hospitality!! Absolutely loved this place and strongly recommend it!! The nearby beautiful Mahadeva temple is definitely worth a visit!

Must try items kothu porotta, kadala fry n chappati. Heard Gopi items are also fab. Friendly owner, it's been over a decade since the cafe is running. Like people say old is gold. We will not except art works in that cafe. But to my surprise walls were filled with pictures, we can enjoy them untill the food ordered arrives. Also feel free to check with owner her experience and history of the cafe.

Kailasam is a vegetarian hotel. Its been there over 50 years now. They serve traditional food such as varieties of Dosas, Puttu, Appam, kadala etc. for breakfast. For lunch they serve typical kerala food with rice and three type of Currys, achar, kondattam and pappadam along with moru and rasam for justice ₹ 55/-. For dinner they have introduced chinese items as well for a TRUE reasonable price.

Once it was a favorite veggie food destination for a lot of people. But not up to the mark nowadays. But still a good place to have some tasty Dosas, Vada, Booriasala etc. Tea that they serve there is good.

Too crowded, Long wait for order, Everyone is busy, you need to wave 👋🏻 hands many times to order during rush. Customer management is poor. Go with patience and expect less hospitality. Normal food available.😁

It was really nice food from here, but now it’s too bad especially dosa, which I tasted recently was very bad. Good thing they accept UPI payments

  • 5/5 riyam h. 2 years ago on Google
Good good good.... Their masala dosha, vada, chapathy and kadala at the evening are their iconic... If you are an outsider don't forget to take a visit to see the year long or alltime flowering kanikonna at temple compound... Which is just outside the hotel

  • 3/5 Suresh S. 2 years ago on Google
Veg dishes only, Kadala roast is superb, a good ethnic coffee shop, ordinary appearance, not at all above average in convenience, but you will love the food. They are sincere about what they serve.
