The roads were narrow and the animal will walk at any time. The are check post at the borders. While we are riding the bike the group of elephants cross the road .we just wait for it to crossing. While we travel at night we are just afraid to cross the road because they warned us that at night time elephants will come. We travel along with a lorry. The slope of the mountains is very lovely and we enjoyed to drive bike in it. It is an awesome experience for me to travel there with my friends

The beach is situated 7 kilometers from Kodungallur towThe beach was developed under the tsunami rehabilitation programme by Harbour Engineering Department. A 400-metre open-air auditorium, 1300 metre walkway, toilets, food courts, skateboarding grip for children and a rain shelter are the major attractions of the beach. A casuarina forest set up by the Kerala Forest Department is another added attractionn.Being a local guy from this place, I can say this is the clean and comfortable beach to visit with family, friends or as couple. Beach is around 40km from Cochin, 6 km from Kodungallur and around 50 km from Guruvayoor. Public transport is easily accessible and a very good parking facility is available with a nominal charge. Sundays and public holidays it will be very crowded from evening till sunset. No good restaurants are near by, only snacks and cool drinks will be available.

We visited top slip from 27 to 29 june 2019. Lovely place to stay and unwind. The weather is real good, more so if you are from Chennai. You are certain to see deer and bison in the night and if lucky one or two elephants.Do not expect a warm welcome from the reception desk in charge officer. Down the line almost every one is friendly and helpful. Plan your visit during working days and you will have the whole place to yourself.

The falls is too good and lively.water force was too good . My long bike ride pains we're washed away by this water fall when I stood under it. Wow she is a real beauty of the water body. Love to stand under those waters falling all over your heart , soul and physical body . Lost myself over there. Just try closing your eyes and feel the water with love, Heaven will be there. Must try the above things. Take care of your things because there will be no one to look after things. Don't eat before monkeys they are always watching to take eatables away from you . Two Kilometers after Top Slip, Kerala State Border Starts where Parambikulam Tiger Reserve is located. Pls visit there as it is really good and they have a good 3 Hour Forest Safari

The tetrapod extension into the sea is where you should go for the best sunset view and ofcourse, the dolphins! The climb up the tetrapods is a bit risky, so elderly and kids are recommended not to go. Catch hold of a good seat, enjoy the serenity of the waves, the colours of the sunset, the calm breeze and the playful dolphins diving around. Absolutely lovely beach. ❤️

Munakkal Beach it's also known as Azhikode beach it's really nice beach that you can spend with your family and friends. All facilities like parking area, locker , shower,etc.. are available. If you bring children they gonna like it because there is a area for kid's to play , quad bike ride , casuarina trees, icecream , salted mango etc.. vendor's are also there . it's nice spot for photoshoot. it's around 8-9km far from kodungallur. It's really crowded place.

It's a clean beach. Comparing with near by beaches like cherai and kuzhuppilly, munakkal have more Beach area and the water is much more clearer. I saw a few fellow driving enthusiast's driving through the beach. I've been informed that during some months there will be festivals conducted. Parking is available near to the entrance of the beach. A small park is there for kids to play and lots of tea shops and snack shacks are in the beach.

The Chinese fishing nets, snack shops and kite fliers give a good ambience to the beach. There were lots of cricket, volleyball etc going on in the wide sand arena of the beach. This is one of the most visited beach in Thrissur District but, it looks like there was only a half hearted attempt to develop the beach. Unfortunately the walkways and other construction doesn't do justice to non-working bathrooms, under illumination at evenings and lack of waste management in the beach.
