One of the best restaurants with different varieties of puttu. Black tea served is complementary. Every puttu name they find from the actor Mr Dileep's film titles, that also too good. Price is normal not too economical or expensive. If you are a traveller who loves food check out this place. The service was amazing too.

Worst service and taste of the fish and squid is so pathetic we didn't even ate it that much worse. They trying to innovate puttu but through which the originality was last. They gave me the bill before we complete our food. Felt very bad.

The best place to have the best puttu in the world. The restaurant has a significant and memorable place with people I love the most. From thick and thin I had been a patron of this place. The food is brilliant and the tea is mind-blowing.The pappadom (പപ്പടം) is the ultimate addition. Really love the seafood combo. Must visit place with family and loved ones. Really value the bond we made with all the amazing people in the place since 2016. Would love to visit occassionally and kudos to the management.

If the place is filled they have this waiting area and as soon as there is space inside they'll call you inside. They severed the food really fast and even the food was good. They also serve you black tea while you get seated. They have amble parking space.

Please don't visit this place going with the hype. Nothing exciting. Don't want to single out anything. We went as a group of 6. No one liked anything. If someone says the ice cream was the best of the lot, imagine how unpleasant it would have felt. Please improve the flavour and taste. Also make sure the people there know how the food tastes so that at least they can suggest what is good and what is not so good.

Firstly, they offered a very good service for us. The premises was well kept and clean. Seating arrangements were also good. Tried Raagi Puttu, Kadala Curry, Spanish Veg Puttu (Recommended) and Mini Falooda. Satisfied with all dishes. Nice ambience inside the restaurant. But we had to wait for 5 mins before we enter the restaurant as noon time is a peak time here. Recommended for families also. 😊

I thought it was hype since the restaurant is a joint venture of two Malayalee actors. So it became famous in Kerala. But no, due to my curiosity and by looking at the food they served, I got tempted to try. Y'oh, it was excellent! I ate so quickly that I didn't realise there was nothing on the plate. It's probably the best puttu I've tried so far! There were a huge variety of puttu available on the menu; in fact, they also serve biryani and some curry items. The drinks were nice, and the décor was perfect. They nailed it! 💯✔️ In my 3 weeks of staying in Kerala, I came there twice, which was unfortunate because the second time the restaurant was still closed since it was 7 a.m. I was thinking of taking another visit; I passed the place on my out-of-town trip. But well, I obviously will get back there when I get a chance to try more of their delicious puttu! 🤍

I had lunch with my family as soon as we entered we were given kattan chaya as welcome drink (you will get unlimited tea refills). We ordered their Family Puttu Treat (Rs 999), Chicken kondattom (Rs 250), Kozhuva Fry (Rs 200), Kizhi Chicken Biryani (Rs 250), & Karimeen Fry (Rs 600). The food was good! Fast service and polite attitude of staff. We had a good experience.

I went with a family of 8 people, and it was a mixed experience. The cinnamon tea we received was amazing, and it was refilled many times. I ordered a joker puttu, which was extremely tasty, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. 5 of my family members were not allowed to order the mutton or chicken biryani puttu as they had run out, so they had to opt for the vegetarian puttu by default. The vegetarian puttu was not very tasty, and in one of the puttus, we had found a hair. Thoroughly disappointed, we showed it to the waiters and waitresses who then provided us with a fresh puttu. Overall, the service was okay. However, they were slightly hesitant to replace the puttu. Food came quite slowly, and despite going at lunchtime, they seemed to run out of a lot of food. Therefore, choices were minimal despite being handed a vast menu. It was expensive as well, costing us 4500 rs for 8 people with the majority unhappy with the food. The rating of 3 stars reflects the overall food quality, cleanliness, and service.

A wholesome experience for everything to do with kerala cuisine. Service was blazing fast, we placed the order, washed our hands and by the time we sat the order was ready. Amar Akbar Antony Combo, Roasted Banana Puttu, Neymeen Pollichathu, alongwith Idiyappam and the best egg curry I've had in a very long time. We reached at 8.30 pm on a weekday and found it very easy to get a table, felt the crowd increasing by around 9ish. Would highly recommend the amar akbar combo as it comes with a mini falooda as well which rounds off the meal amazingly well. It took a while to navigate the menu as the options and combinations were plenty, which is a good thing. Staff were cordial, not many smiles, the usual take the order-give the order experience. We paid Rs 1,200 for 3 people which given the variety was complete worth it. If not for the neymeen we would've ended up with a bill of just 700 Rs. Will surely return & recommend. PS : Try the nadodimannan combo as it comes with neymeen/king fish pollichathu.

I wanted to try out Puttu in Kochi. This place came out as a recommendation from a lot of my Kochi friends. Loved the ambience of this place and the Puttu as well. The elaborate menu with many varieties of Puttu is worth mentioning. From biryani Puttu to chocolate Puttu, there are many variations of Puttu here. The staff were friendly too. I loved the plain puttu & Kadala curry combination here. Not very sure about the pricing, as this is the only place where I have tried Puttu.

They dont know what is hygiene and food safety. Ordered food for family and while the food arrived there are foreign objects, almost 25/20cm long plastic / cloth fibre waste. It looks like the Brussels from a brush like the one used for toilet cleaning, or from a cleaning cloth waste. Staff were reluctant to address and finally chef came and were trying to convince that it must be from the brush what they used ro clean the puttu kutti. The way they explained was highlighting their cleaning regime as that intence they do cleaning the vessels, Huhh disgusting experience from a premium charging restaurent. If it was from a rod side thattukada, its understandable. Please think think twice before checking in there, or inspect thoroughly before eating. You are not supposed to eat kitchen / toilet waste. !!

Dhe Puttu is one restaurant which never dissapoints! It's always my go to spot when I'm too hungry, because I know I'll walk out with a happy tummy. The photos added are from my multiple visits. I can't pick a particular dish to appreciate because everything I've had were equally good. We are welcomed with a free sulaimani drink which is very refreshing and they give you refills too. Many dishes here are named after Dileep's movies but the ingredients are elaborated next to it. Every dish is distinctive in their own way. If I had to pick my favorite it would be Erachi Puttum Beef Ularthiyathum. There may be a rush during weekends so do expect some waiting. There's plenty of parking space adjacent to the hotel. The service is not that great.. every time we had to wait for quite a long time for the waiter to come and take orders. But the amazing food and ambience will compensate for the service.

We went to the restaurant after hearing much hype about it and we were kinda expecting the food a d the experience to be awesome, but unfortunately it was just 'meh'! We ordered 1. Roasted pazham puttu with beef ularithiyathu 2. Spicy beef puttu 3. Chicken Biryani 4. Prawn Biryani 5. Beef idimulagu All the dishes were served fast without much wait time. But the quality and taste of the food left me wanting, most of the dishes had a lack of saltiness and the flavors were not up to the mark. Though I have to say the service was excellent and the staff were willing and knowledgeable to answer most questions you might have regarding the food served. One more notable mention is their cinnamon and clove flavoured black tea, this was soothing and blended well.

It's situated near the Edapally Grand mall. The food served here is mainly different types of putt with non veg and veg modifications added. The dish names are based on various films acted by Malayalam actor Dileep who is the co owner of the restaurant chain. The food served here is good in taste and have variety comparing with other restaurants. Also there is a black tea served along with the dishes which we can refill anytime and it tastes very good really like that black tea. The Ambience is good and whenever I went there I came across celebrities there often. The parking space is spacious and can park around 20 cars.

We liked the place It was a afternoon time and there was no AC but still it wasn't so hot. We ordered a Puttu, it was served in quick time. It was sufficient for one person, I recommend ordering one plate of any Puttu dish and then decide the second serving. The kadala curry was also up to the mark.

Unlimited favoured black tea on demand. Food was tasty and in good amount. Non veg thali putt and its accompanying curries were good. Chilly chicken was also great. Service staff was doing a great job.

I ordered for Vegetable Puttu Biryani and Roasted Banana Puttu with Fruit Salad. The flavor was well balanced. The quality of ingredients used is very good and premium. Some pieces of banana was burnt black. However, the value for money was pretty low, considering the food quantity was not enough enough for one person, while the dish was heavily priced. Except for the cost to the quantity factor, everything else was good.

Had Puttu for the first time and I am glad i decided to have it at Dhe Puttu. Absolutely loved the food. It was a little crowded and i had to wait for few minutes for the table but it was worth the wait. The ambience is great and so is the service. Chicken tempura and Puttu biryani is a must try. 100% recommended! They should open the restaurant in the northern part of the country as well.

They specialise in a local rice cake delicacy called "puttu". Their variety and options(different shapes) with various curries in their menu is amazing. They have a complementary tea to start with, and they have buffet meals as well. Weekends & holidays are crowded. They have ample parking outside. The place belongs to a movie actor. Very unique interiors. Good ambience & crowd, service was also decent. Pricing is very reasonable.

Seems there is a lot of hype for their food. As per me it’s just a hype. They provide a lot of varieties of puttu and all are named basis the movies of actor Dileep. We ordered some 3 types of puttu which has fish, chicken & beef. Sad to say that these non veg items were very less and we couldn’t even find much on the puttu. All were like normal puttu where some few beef were sliced & put over it. They provide black tea which was good. The atmosphere was good. Have parking spaces also. But considering the food the rates are on a higher side. Also it’s not a place for a quick munch as mostly there would be waiting time also the food delivery takes time

A variety concept where one can buy different types of Puttu stuffed with various items. First of all, a good ambience and the staffs are way friendly that they will consider your need and suggest for dishes. The dishes are tasty and okay. As only Puttu items are the main dishes, the options in taste is limited. But still I recommend everyone to try atleast once.

Visiting Dhe Puttu and tasting the puttu varieties was something I was eagerly looking forward for a long time and it definitely was one great visit. Visited the place alone and even on a weekday evening, place was full of people-mostly families. I had to wait close to 15 mins to get a table even that was fast because I was alone :) Menu looked very interesting and is coined on Film names. Food was great and it also had unlimited supply of pappadams and black tea. I had Chicken Keema Puttu and Kada Fry. Service was prompt and price though a tad high was reasonable for the food quality and taste.Would definitely visit this place.

The place is average only. Nice ambience. Food is average only, taste is ok. But the pricing is very high. Quantity is below average. I have ordered kunjikoonan puttum tharavu roastum and one falooda. After eating i had to go to another restaurant and fulfill my belly. No satisfaction after eating from here. I will never visit this place again.

We actually went in a little early for dinner @6PM. The ambience was good. They welcome you with water r hot water, your preference. The Menu contains a lot of Puttu varities as you can see. We had Eruchi Puttu, Chicken Kheema Puttu, Chicken Kurtiyum Duck Curriyum. Everything tasted good, Eruchi Puttu is very good comparetively. Had a Mint Lemonade which is also good. Definitely suggest you to give it a try here.

Just more of a regular restaurant of present time in case of ambiance and neatness. Very overpriced as compared to quality, quantity and taste of food. Had chicken biriyani putt and beef biriyani putt. I'm still not sure why it is named after biriyani, as it's just putt which comes with chicken or beef. Taste is good, quantity is very much concerned. But surprisingly fast service, but need to wait for while to get a dine-in. Had orange juice, which was ok. Even if the restaurant is good, still doesn't feel value for money.

It's an excellent restaurant to go to. The menu contains a variety of puttu (both veg & non-veg), including certain combos with Dileep movie names (like 2 Countries, Ramaleela etc.). They offer hot black tea (with unlimited refills), pappadoms and sugar syrup along with any puttu you order. I ordered a mambazha puttu (aka. ripe mango puttu) which I had for the first time. It was delicious. The washrooms were clean & hygienic. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant. PS: In case you're not familiar, puttu is steamed rice flour (usually made in a cylindrical shape)

Different varieties of Puttu in beautiful textures and under some interesting names are the highlights of this shop. In addition to Puttu, they also serve meals, biriyani etc. I've eaten from here several times and never felt unpleasant or dissatisfied with the food's quality and taste. The ambience of this shop is superb with friendly and professional staff. They also have ample parking space. Another interesting feature of this shop that is particularly liked and highly appreciated ( this is not a common practice at other restaurants) is the availability of unlimited Black Tea and Papadam.

We have ordered puttum porichakozhiyum and vettom puttu. First one is so good but vettom we didn't liked it having sweet corn and minced chicken. But in menu sweet corn is not mentioned. It is sweet so we didn't liked it. So many varities of puttu available with wonderful names. Waiting time is very less abd service also so good. Anyway nice experience and had tasty dinner👌

Dheputtu in Kochi impresses with its diverse puttu offerings. Traditional rice puttu boasts authenticity, while unique variations like ragi and wheat puttu showcase creativity. The menu also surprises with delightful combinations such as banana puttu. Each dish is expertly crafted, highlighting a perfect balance of flavors. With quality ingredients and friendly service, Dheputtu promises a satisfying culinary experience for puttu lovers in Kochi.

Dhe Puttu specializes in a delightful array of 'puttu', and it truly lives up to its name. As a vegetarian, I found plenty of tasty options, and they offer a great variety for non-vegetarians too. The food was delicious, and the service was commendable. A highlight was the birthday celebration - the staff prepared a unique chocolate puttu, sang birthday wishes, and played a celebratory song. Cutting the chocolate puttu instead of a traditional cake added a fun and memorable twist to our visit.

If you can tolerate the waiting time which is a little bit longer than the usual the food is delicious and worth it, especially the black tea serving like a welcome drink is absolutely a great start!

The best place to have different varieties of puttu which is a traditional dish of Kerala. My favourite puttu dishes that I love here are: Chicken Biryani Puttu Puttu and kadala (must try kadala curry) Chicken kheema puttu They also offer cinnamon tea as an appetizer which definitely improves the food experience. And pappad that is usually served with puttu. Overall, the puttu quality has been persistently maintained well here and we always have a great and fast service experience here. There is a dedicated car parking space available here. There will be a rush here , however it is a first come first serve service followed here.
