I was recommended to go to this beach rather than the other busier tourist beaches. I did not regret it. There were literally only about 20 people on the beach and it was very clean. You can see the local fisherman catching the fish on their little boats and the locals bought the fish directly from them. There is a 50 rupees fee for the car park. Honestly this was one of the best beaches I have ever been to. Fantastic.

This beach has clean waters with beautiful sunset. There is a new, very famous attraction that attracts many tourists, the floating bridge. As you walk across the bridge lapping waves under toss you gently in the air. Even though it is a bit crowded,it is very scenic and you must visit.

It's one of the best location to spend a beautiful evening with family or friends. The trees are the major attraction. Specially sunset view is awesome which I like most You can bath that is Neat and clean beach but there is no changing room for family

Great place to spend time with family and friends. Not so crowded and definitely not like Cherai. The way to the beach is mesmerising with backwaters. Adventure sports have started now like zipline, cycling, etc.. and the beach is good. But I wish it's maintained well, with no waste and control dogs. You have to be careful while removing and keeping the footwear when you go down to play in the waters since there are too many dogs.

Kuzhuppilly Beach in Kochi is a hidden gem! It is without a doubt the best beach in Kochi, with its beautiful shores, quiet environment, and breathtaking sunset. The golden rays illuminating the horizon create a mesmerising spectacle. Kuzhuppilly Beach provides it all, whether you're looking for solitude or a scenic location for photography. A must-see for beach and nature lovers! πŸ–οΈπŸŒ…βœ¨ #KuzhuppillyBeach #SpectacularSunrise Note: Visitors to the area should be vigilant as there are often numerous dogs roaming around freely.

Neat and clean beach. Less crowded beach compared to cherai. They provide seawalk as well as there is a water theme park nearby. Parking is a bit of an issue especially during weekends. The parking fee is 30 bucks for a 4 wheeler. One highlight of this beach is the clean beach sand. The road to the beach is a bit congested. Overall a good place to spend a few hours your weekend.

Beautiful and peaceful beach.About 25 km from the city .Cherai beach is the nearest other beach. Not a very developed place with much facilities, but it is a vastly undisturbed place.

I am not writing this review for kuzhupilly beach, but a place around 2km from there. This spot that we found was so secluded that no one was there except for two locals who were fishing as you can see in the photos. The actual beach was so crowded that we couldn't find place for parking. This new place had nice view and it was peaceful. If ever you are planning to come here, there are many other spots like this around Kuzhupilly/Cherai beach.

The very first thing i noticed in this place is millions of small sea shells that is spread all over the sand. Wherever you walk in this beach, you can see atleast one sea shell under your feet. The beach has very beautiful view of the sunset and sea. Tall pine trees, coconut trees, the fishing boats, sea bridge and all adds to the beauty of this beach. I found some resting places within pine trees too. Someone has placed broken trees into seat in there. Parking area is available here. Small local businesses are nearby. I saw a few resorts near the beach. One more thing about this place is the road to get here. Around 2 km of the road to this beach is through prawn fields. Both the sides of the road is filled with water, which is used to farm prawns and 'Kakka' (shells). It is a good experience to drive through here. The road is in good condition too.

Very beautiful atmosphere. Usually crowded at evening. There is no bus root. Usually people came here via private vehicles. There is pine forest beside the sea shore. Almost clean sea shore. Peacefully you can enjoy, there is a wide place to walk and play. Toilet available. Ice cream shops and restaurants are near by located.

Nice and Clean beach to hangout with family and friends. It has quite something about it that makes it different from the usual beaches, probably the luscious trees that pan through the area. Toilet facilities are limited. Only handful food stalls available selling icecream, tea and snacks. Floating bridge is a new attraction installed. Really enjoyed this new facility provided by the authorities. Parking is the major issue especially if ur visiting this place on weekends.

The beach is not much in beauty, but there were only few people when we visited, it would be like you are owning the whole beach. No safeguard will be provided, and coast guards too are not seen. So you are on your own.

One of the best beaches in Kochi. > The beach is neat and clean. > It's open as of 18th Sept 2021 > There are a couple of shops for quick bite snacks, juices and for clothes. > There was also a bajji shop (4 months back) but haven't noticed the same this time. > There is parking available and it costs approximate β‚Ή20 but there isn't much facilities provided for that much amount. > The washrooms/toilets were closed for maintenance during our visit. > The way to beach is quite nice with water on each side (looks like fish farming) and makes a good place for clicking some photos. The beach itself is one of the better maintained ones in Ernakulam. The water is good (not so blue) and there is inly moderate crowd other than weekends and holidays. The beach area itself is quite large and we can easily play with the water one to two metres into the beach. There are no protective walls and the sea seems to be eating quite a bit into the beach area. There are also trees which i guess is pine trees and sitting under the same makes for a comfortable place for people to talk and gives a good view of the beach as well. Finally, > There seems to be no dustbins provided. > The beach is kind of located outside the city and is a good 1 hr journey from Edappally. A very good place to be in after your busy workday and is worth spending every second there...!!

It is a great place to spend free time with family. It is a clean enough and wide beach. The only problem is that there will be traffic jams in the evening during holidays. Also, there is no government setup to take immediate action in case of an accident.

Best place for hangout with friends and family. Couple friendly place. Nice ambiance , calm and quiet area. Also suitable for people who seek for peaceful atmosphere. If you are live in and around Kochi, this beach will be the best for spend your evenings. The beach is less explored and less exploited by humans, which make it more beautiful. The color of the sand resembles the beach of Goa with its golden sand along with black. Light blue sea, golden sand and greenish Australian pine will give you a perfect ambiance for leisure. it is an emerging destination so there is a need to improve its safety and security along with its infrastructural development.

A very beautiful and usually a quiet beach, perfect for those who do not like the crowd of visitors to Cherai Beach nearby. It's quite a long beachfront, so you can go for a long morning/evening walk in peace here. There are not many shops etc to spoil the surroundings, either. However, please note that there may not be life-guards present at all times, in case you decide to take a swim in the sea and need rescuing, unlike Cherai beach. The only downside is that there is very limited parking and you will have to park on the side of a very narrow road that runs parallel to the beach. Unfortunately, of late, the beach has become quite popular and lots of people come here in the weekend evenings, and just park their cars on both sides of this narrow road, leaving space for barely one car. The end result is that invariably, there is a traffic jam every weekend evening after sunset, so please be warned.

Lovely calm place It's a nice place to visit for families and couples. Not many people visit here which makes it calm. A slightly different beach with trees planted right on the coast. We can hangout and take photos on the shades of the trees. Public facilities are poor.Food stalls, rest rooms, waste bins, life guards are not available.Approach road is very poor. If these problem can be overcome, this can be made one of best tourist attractive beaches in Kerala.

What an excellent transformation from a totally neglected beach by local tourists in 2008 when I last visited to the level now in 2021which is in par with Cherai beach in terms of crowd. It really needs to have more facility as traffic is like hell especially on holidays when I visited. As you may know, the roads to enter and exit are quite narrow just to allow 2 small cars. They need to place coastal guides or police to control mad crowd at beach people venture deep. Hope good care is taken here.

This gem of a place is so beautiful that if there's a beach that I'll love visiting in Kerala, it must be this one! ❀️ This is place is underrated and that could be because people visit this place at the wrong times. The beach may appear crowded, but don't worry, the shoreline is long enough to find a place to spend time alone or with your loved ones without any disturbance. I recommend to visit this place either at dawn, where the crowd is significantly less, the dark blue clouds sooth you and the cool wind takes away all your stresses, or at sunset where your eyes will have a feast to enjoy. What makes this beach stand out are the trees on the shore which greatly enhances the ambience around you. Looking for a quick getaway during the weekends? Well, look no other place if you are living in Kerala. ☺️

The beach is a beautiful place to make good memories. It has sea weed near the shore and that is a bit of inconvenience. But the place is still beautiful.

Bigger than cherai beach, had a good time with family. Not famous such as cherai and fort kochi beaches even though people like this beach because it has enough beach side to enjoy with kids and families.

Surreal beach with least crowd, very clean and stunning view, sand is of very good quality, water is deep and rough, DO NOT ENTER in water if no lifeguard is around. You can enjoy the view and breeze, no shops or eateries around or just one or two.

Kuzhupilly beach, located in Vypeen or Vypin, this white, sandy beach is ideal for swimming. The backwaters nearby are an added charm, as are the paddy fields and coconut groves on the way to the beach, where kite festivals are occasionally held

Good calm beach with bathrooms and shops. There is a floating bridge as well as an adventure park nearby. It is not as crowded as charai beach so it's more peaceful and enjoyable. By bus you can reach the nearest stop and take an autorickshaw it cost me 60rs for the auto.

Used to love this beach, it still hasn't lost its beauty, they have added a floating bridge on the bridge it increased the overflow of people th the beach, there is a parking lot but it's a small space , parking on the road is not easy as road work is going on , coming by car is gonna give you a lot of headache cause the road is so small, there will hours of traffic jam near the beach in the weekends, weekday would be perfect for your outing if you are planning to visit the beach, plus you can visit cherai, ambedkar beach which is also nearby
