Charpa Water Falls which Cascades from seventy feet above lies in between famous Athirapilly and Vazhachal Water Falls. You can enjoy the view from road side. Good stopover for tourists visiting Athirapilly and Vazhachal Water Falls. Surrounded by green vegetation, such surrounding makes this water falls an amazing destination for spending some time listening to the music of nature.

Charpa Falls is a waterfall located in Athirappilly panchayath in Thrissur district of Kerala. ... It is a popular stopover for tourists who are visiting the Athirappilly and Vazhachal Falls. It is located close to the road, and during monsoon months (June to August), the water splashes onto the road.

Charpa Falls emanates from the River Chalakudy. It doesn't have a heavy flow as the waters gush down gently. So, to witness this, an individual can visit this beautiful site during the months between October-February. If you visit during monsoons, you'll be fascinated to see the speed of the waters paving their way through the rocks. Avoid visiting during summers as there's hardly a chance to see the waters falling down

This impressive waterfall cascades from about 70 feet above and lies in between the famous Athirappilly and Vazhachal waterfalls in Thrissur District of Kerala India. The source of this beautiful fall is from River Chalakuddy, which flows with great speed and moves along the roadside. The Charpa falls is present at a distance of nearly 60 kms from Thrissur and looks magnificent in the monsoon. The damp clouds when hover above the waterfalls, the surroundings become exceptionally beautiful and enchanting. The area is well maintained by the Kerala Govt. as they recognize it as a major tourist spot. Also, various hawkers and small shops are open in the vicinity so tourists can also enjoy little beverages and snacks after spending time at the Charpa Falls. Note : Very less parking area.

This panoramic short waterfalls can be easily seen during any journey to the main waterfalls of Athirappilly. Usually it's an unforgettable experience to the travellers who drive through the road-bridge built infront of this small waterfalls. Also, one can easily spot monkeys playing and roaming around in that area. ... Hence, parking the vehicle aside, stepping out of it with juice and food packages, standing outside and enjoying the view by snacking, and so on are all at one's own risk. Nevertheless, this Charpa Waterfalls has an amazing view. Cool!

The white water cascading down the falls is mesmerising. Alas, this beauty is seasonal, flourishing during the monsoon rains. A new view bridge for tourists is being constructed, causing a hindrance for the photography enthusiasts.

Charpa Falls is a waterfall located in Athirappilly panchayath in Thrissur district of Kerala. Located on the west-flowing Chalakudy River, this waterfall lies in between the more famous Athirappilly Falls and Vazhachal Falls way of road side. The waterfall is exceptionally beautiful and enchanting during monsoon season and it's better not to try to cross the water or swim because the rock beneath is slippery and even if you are an expert swimmer you may loose balance. Nice place to visit with family or friends.

This beautiful seasonal waterfall is located between Vazhachal and Athirapally waterfalls on the Athirapally road. It can be viewed from the road while sitting in your vehicle and snap some photos. This waterfall comes alive during monsoon. In other seasons there may be little water.

This a beautiful and wild fall near athirapally. It is in main road , you can see this while you traveling from Athirapally to vazhachal falls. It is more wild in rainy season. Large amount of water will be there. Really beautiful. There is no separate parking here, you should park vehicle near road. You can also enjoy the beauty of forest here.

A nice waterfall on athirappilli road when you go by road from athirappilli to vazhachal waterfall. Problem is you can't park your car and get down here. View paucity of parking space, no one is allowed to stop the vehicle here... There is a guard to ensure this.. Nevertheless the waterfall is good..

A small Water fall in athirappilly malakkapara route. Not too far from athirappilly water falls. On road side only. Hardly 3,4 cars can park at a time. Even though parking and visiting is restricted these forest areas . Around 9 o clock guards lpwill come there and will start their duty , will not allow anyone to park their vehicles nearby. So if u pass before that time u may able to park is car and can spend little time taking photos.

After Athirapilly Waterfalls before we reach Vazhachaal falls we can see the Charpa waterfall which cascade from a height of about 70 feet. The water during monsoon season will be so thick and flowing at high speed, we can hear the roaring sound from the road. The waterfall is exceptionally beautiful and enchanting during monsoon season and it's better not to try to cross the water or swim because the rock beneath is slippery and even if you are an expert swimmer you may loose balance. Nice place to visit with family or friends.

Waterfall view can enjoyable from the road or from the vehicle that we travel. It is situated in pariyaram beside the road of Athirappilly. Please note that entering into the waterfall is prohibited. It's a nice waterfall we can enjoy on the road of Athirappilly-Valparai. A small bridge constructing infront of the waterfall. When the construction is completed, we can enjoy the waterfall from the bridge. It will be very nice and close to see it from the bridge. The waterfall will be more attractive on rainy season.

One of the best waterfall view point in Athirappally side. On the way from Athirappally to Vazhachal falls side. Travellers will stop here for relaxing and capturing photos. Super waterfalls. Safe and Active during Rainy season.Danger During Heavy Rainfalls. It's probably sighting elephant on the way . Can't take bath in this falls since it's Passing one. Monsoon hits Kerala twice, the first period starts from June to August and the second from October to December. The flow of water increases to a great extent and its water moves to the roads during the raining period. The Charpa fall is frequently visited by a large number of tourists and nature lovers, who often stop here to witness the exquisite beauty of the place.

The mystical Charpa Falls is located in the Athirappilly region of Thrissur district in Kerala. The waterfall falls from a height of 70 feet and is located in between Vazhachal and Athirappilly waterfalls. The source of the waterfall is Chalakudy River, which is also a source of other waterfalls in that region. These waterfalls look mesmerizing and magnificent during monsoon season as the water flows at a speedy rate giving an enchanting and exceptionally beautiful surrounding. The Charpa falls is located at a distance of 60 kilometers from Thrissur. Visit the place for great photography and picturesque views and the best time to visit these splendid waterfalls is from October to February.
