A really great spot to go on weekend rides , and the adventurous ones can go on an offroad track to reach the bottom of the quarry , if you can make it in the morning well and good but I recommend going around 4-5 so that you can enjoy the sunset . And be sure to get out of there before it gets dark or bugs will swarm you .

This is a fun place to spent an hour or so, take some good photos and catch some cool breezes. Must go in the morning or evening. Avoid night and noon. Have a lot of cliffs and deep water. Be careful with children here(recommend not to bring kids here). Bit difficult to take car here, I recommend taking a two wheeler.

It is not a famous picnic spot but recently many people come here for video shooting and all. It's an old quarry site which has a unique visual beauty of its own. I dont recommend going here during summer or a sunny day. You can reach on top of hill in a small car or bike and can hike downhill upto the water.

Its am abandoned quarry, almost whole of a hill is excavated for rock stones. And rest of the environment is left unusable. There is a walk path to reach the top of the hill where we can see the different quarry pits at each side. The place is photogenic as the excavation left few parts of the hill. If you are a nature lover then hack of the place is when you walk through the uncommon paths you will be able to explore more if the place.

A spectacular location that's not easy to get to. Prepare to walk a bit or ride over mildly challenging terrain to get there. This is not a tourist destination so don't expect any manner of aminities or safety barriers. A great place to relax and take in the view. Not an ideal spot to bring young children.

It is a wonderful place with beautiful views.Most appropriate time to visit this place is during dawn and dusk.Avoid visiting during noon time. Here you can view the beautiful of nature, take lots of photos and videos and spend a lot of time with yours frndz and family. Also a good spot for Photoshoots. If u love adventures drives this place can be a beginning for that since you can drive to the top of this hill. parking spaces is also there , so no need to worry about that too. I prefer two wheelers than 4 wheelers to visit this place. Also I recommend you to visit there atleast once if you love nature.

Pettamala has become very popular recently, especially among the youth. An old quarry which is no longer operational has become a favorite evening spot. The beauty of the place is the shape of the stones, the large stone wall with a heart like cut and pools of water with unpredictable depths. However, the place is equally dangerous as well. first of all, access from the roads is limited and motorcycles can go further uphill.No side barriers and rocky uneven surface is hard to balance for not much experienced riders. Since turning into a scenic photography environment, one must be careful enough to avoid the cliff edges. NOT AT ALL RECOMMENDED FOR BRINGING SMALL KIDS. Early mornings and evenings are preferred for a visit to the place, and coming down before nightfall is advised.

A place far from the noise of the city. Very isolated, and to be honest, slightly dangerous if you don't look where you are walking. Keep to the well trodden path though, and you will be fine. Warning: please take care of your children and make sure they do not run around as the paths are very high up and are not barricaded. Also make sure that they don't fall in the water. There are no officials nearby, just the locals so please be responsible. Rest apart, the place serves as a short retreat from the city. Nothing too fancy, but you can grab a few moments of solitude with a decent view.
