Nice place for an evening visit near Aluva Mahadeva temple. One can access the place via foot over bridge near federal bank junction. Its the manappuram ground where people gather during Shivaratri. Good view. Many people come here for swimming. Place lacks maintenance.

This place is amazing, beautiful, peaceful and very good site views. This place is situated on bank of river "Periyar" and from there we can see a railway bridge by which trains pass which is awesome view. If you want to see that bridge is very scenic then you should go there in sun rise time. What will you see that you will standing on bank of river and that bridge will above the periyar river and train would be passing through that bridge and the sun would be top on that all things, that makes more beautiful and scenic view because of light of sun passing through by water. Shiv temple is also situated there so you can take bath in river and go for worshiping in temple that is amazing feeling.

Aluva manappuram is one of the main attraction in aluva and since my childhood its an imotion to go there in feb-march month and before this bridge made we crossed with small boats they drive without engine and its fun and at the time scary and its owsam childhood memmory then 2018 flood all they cleaned very well and back to normal then in covid pandamic the celebrations and all functions and public incultion they stopped now they started with new arrangements this year not started maybe this year will open public to normal this bridge is a view point and cross to oposite side to the temple quickly and at the evening time a good vibe and also fishing and swimming there

The place is good for morning and evening walk, even you can just sit and relax here. There is a swimming training class is also running here.
