The scenic beauty is awesome, if it's during rain or winter seasons it will be very good, covered with fog. Beware of wild animals crossing the road especially elephants. You need to take a permission from the forest office in vazchal to come here.

An amazing spot to see the tranquility of the Peringalkuthu Reservoir and its the catchment forest range. But now its restricted to stop your vehicles here to the increased wildlife activity and getting down to the water is also risky.

Not allowed to stop here due to covid and also it's a hangout spot for elephants. So watch out...

Nice, but not best to spend much time there. The view is all beautiful. Better to go when there is water (rainy season).Other than that there is a lot of places to visit near Valparai.

Spectacular view point in the Athirapally - Valparai road. Its not advised to get down the vehicle since its a forest region and animal crossing is expected. Restricted by forest officials as well.

It offers a spectacular view of nature on your malakkappara drive. Before you start your drive from vazhachal check post, you will get an instruction that not to stop your vehicle. But you cant leave this place because its so amazing. Its a breathtaking view of the reservoir with very calm atmosphere. It is the perfect place to take a break on your trip.

Good view reservoir . Pl don't get down from your vehicle as it is the place where the elephants frequently came here to drink water and search of food please be careful. Don't stop here more than 2 mins.

View point is good. But there is no permission to stop the car after the vazhachal checkpost untill we reach malakkapara checkpost. You can see the view point at your own risk.
