The paddy fields, stream passing by and blue skies makes an excellent combo for a great evening spend. There are nice walkways through the fields. I could enjoy a beutiful sunset here!However it is very difficult to park a 4 wheeler. It is better to reach via 2 wheeler. Also the place is heavily crowded on weekends.

Since being a tourist attraction from a very recent time lot of small roadside shops have popped out and I should say walking down they new payed walkway with melting ice cream is definitely a must try if you come here. There are no commercial establishments like hotels or street vendors to spoil the serenity. Negatives: 1. The road is very narrow, just enough for two cars to pass and there is barely any space for parking the car. You have water on both sides, so be careful while driving. 2. Actually, this this is just a road, not a sightseeing place officially, and as such there are no civic amenities at all, so no urinals or anything of that sort. 3. The place is getting awfully popular, so in weekends, you can expect hundreds of people in the evenings, all of them in cars and all of them taking up precious road space for parking. The approach to this road is so narrow that two compact- SUVs will have a hard time passing each other. Hence expect major traffic blocks as you try to get back out. Final recommendation: Must visit place but preferably on a two wheeler and on weekdays.

Kadamakkudy is an awesome place for those in cochin to get a short ride out and relax. There are various options for trying local food, tea stalls and even late night resto cafes...try to reach half an hour before the sunset time for the best experience.

Gorgeous place, pristine backwaters. There are many fish processing units, Chinese nets and very very small huts selling toddy or tender coconuts. There was one boat available for a ride but isnt available all the time and everyday. There aren’t any amenities or shacks or hotels which is a good thing, gives the place a beautiful rustic vibe but is very close to main city. There are good eco resorts around. There are stretches of beautiful road with water on both side. It’s an experience. Not recommending after dark

Best evening spot to visit in Ernakulam. You can get here via Varappuzha. A calm and quite place away from city rush. You can calmly ait down here to watch the setting sun with a cup of tea. Such a relaxing atmosphere. But always crowded as this is everyone's favorite spot. Reach here before aun set and watch the beauty of setting sun. Parking is bit difficult as there is no parking space, you have to park on either sides of the road. So four wheelers have to take more care.

I have taken a bike from fort Kochi and went on ferry to vyapi it’s 17km from vyapi island , I can say this place is best for photo shoots and one of the best sun set points to be visited, we have paid 100 for local fisher to take us in his boat for 45 minutes of ride during the sunset , the ride can’t be explained in words , the 45 minutes ride was fabulous, exciting what on you can. Get the best experience in this ride , so if you are here in fort Kochi , please mark this place for must visit and do visit for experiencing best sunset 🌅
